Itunes waiting to sync and never installing apps

iPhone 6. Model: MG4A2X/A. IOS: 8.1.1
Itunes: V12.0.1.26. Windows 8.1
I am having issues with an app that just sits on my iphone saying 'Loading'. Long press to delete the app when confirmed does not delete the app
I have followed all the advise I can find about never installing apps except resetting the phone (The unit is brand new and I'm not impressed as my previous apple kit has never had any problems - unless I count the mistake of updating my iPhone 4 to IOS 7!)
I have restarted the iPhone, logged out of App store on the phone and restarted, stopped wifi updated etc etc...
The final solution I came across was to connect to iTunes and managed the app install etc from there. Unfortunately when I attempt to sync the iPhone to remove the errant app iTunes just sits there 'Waiting for sync to start'
I believe the it is the errant loading app that is causing the sync issues and wonder if any body has any other ideas before I factory reset a brand new phone

Try rebooting your computer to see if that helps. Do you have the 128 kbps AAC option enabled from under the iPod's Summary tab?

You can get a download for Mac at this link and then validate it with your serial number.

Note that LR3 was designed for OSX 10.5 or 10.6. It will run on 10.9 (Mavericks) but there may be some appearance differences to the sliders. But why not give the download a try. Otherwise you may be best to upgrade to LR5 or wait for LR6.

Am now being asked if I trust this computer. This is new. Also takes longer than usual to signal it is charging. Get usual sound notification but nothing appear in computer. I long ago disables automatic notification that phone was connected. Prefer to bring it up manually.

Within Contacts, tap Groups at top left. Make sure all contact groups are checked to show, then tap "Done" at top right.
Within the Calendar app, tap Calendars at the bottom center of the screen. Tap on Show All Calendars.

had similar issues with my macbook(2010 running lion) and after a few restarts it would not restart anymore and is at the service center since saturday. i would suggest you do not use iTunes until this issue is addressed. seems to be macbooks that are having freeze up issues.

Solution for Windows 8.1: Locate the C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder. Log out of Creative Cloud and from Task Manager end task for Creative Cloud. From the OOBE folder delete ALL files. Do not delete folders (com.adobe.accc.apps & com.adobe.accc.home). When complete, restart Creative Cloud and log in with ID and Password.

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk.

Two problems here guys
1. My iTunes won't sync. Since the update to iTunes 11 it refuses to transfer purchaces from my iPhone 4S and won't put stuff from my phone into my iTunes library and I can't put anything on my phone through my laptop. Both the laptop and the phone say that they are syncing but nothing actually happens
2. As the Avengers Initiative app is currently free I decided to try and download it straight on to my phone, but every time I try it says I don't have enough memory, even though I deleted stuff especially so I could download this and I now have 3.6 GB free, so I downloaded it on to my iTunes on my computer, but of course my iTunes won't sync
I've reinstalled iTunes twice and it hasn't worked!

I just down loaded the latest and greatest itunes and Ipod touch software. went thru all the steps, my wife did the same for her itouch on her computer. Hers is frozen, can't complete the restore, mine won't sync all the apps and music to the ipod. Where do I go from here?

i was syncing my itunes and was updating my itunes which i minimized away, and then suddenly itunes crashed and itunes kept updating i closed the update and went back on and finished the sync but some apps i purchased werent there. i have since updated itunes thinking that would help but no luck there. how can i fix this?

In iTunes, go to the App store and download the apps again.
If you log in with the same account that they were purchased with, you will not have to pay for them again.
Golden rule, do not try to update the itunes software at the same time syncing your phone.
I would expect iTunes to want to shut its self down while updating and if you are syncing at the same time, then its very possible to loose all your info. You were probably lucky only to loose some Apps

MAS never shows updates and never updates apps

Mac App Store never shows update notifications for me. When I change to the Updates menu I get 'All apps are to update'. When I change to the Purchased I get some of the buttons as 'Update'. And then, when I hit the Update button, applications never get to update as I get an error "There are updates for other users...". The only way to update the apps is to first remove them and go back to MAS and select install.
That's happening from the very first time I've installed the AppStore.
I've tried to install again the combo update, I trashed all plists, caches, cookie files etc... and nothing helped.
If anybody has the same did he manage to solve it?

Why are you directing folks to a Knowledge Base article about iOS apps? That article has nothing to do with the Mac App Store! That article is about downloading apps purchase through the iTunes Apps Store.
cvkef, ignore that post, it has nothing to do with the Mac App Store, nor with your problem in the MAS.
The MAS is still very much a work in progress. It is a part of Mac OS X Lion that was released early for Snow Leopard, but in is still very much like beta software and the Lion development team is still working very hard to get it ready when Lion rolls out later this Summer. Your work around of deleting apps to get an update is probably what you will need to do for the next little while until that part of the MAS is fixed.Be patient. And if you feel strongly enough, give Apple feedback, becasue you are going to just find other users here in the ASC.
Give feedback for the Mac App Store at this moment through the Mac OS X Snow Leopard portal, the MAS does not yet have a separate portal;

ITunes iClould help - syncing and accounts

We have at our house one PC (Windows Vista) and we (family of 5) have always just used one AppleID. We have two iPhone 4's since June, three iPod Touchs (newest gen), an older nano and shuffle. That's our current set-up. We have had our own playlists and settings, etc. Everything was fine. Since going to iCloud - iOS5, now our contacts are merged, each of our apps are on everyone else's device and the syncing is continuously making it hard to get back to where we were.
I starting looking into different users on PC, but my first question is, will iTunes sync with all the different users at once or will it on sync with the user that is logged in? I really don't want to set-up 5 users on my PC, especially for 3 kids.
Second questions. How do you edit your contact groups once on iCloud? I had a group called "golf" that was synced and now on my wife's phone. I deleted all the contacts in it and on Outlook and it will not go away. Can one delete it off iCloud? It seems once something is there it will not remove it. We have edited, synced, turned syncing of contacts on and off and it won't go away.
Can I set-up five different AppleID's on a single computer? If so, can all five share the same music and video library? From what I have read it can only be done through five user accounts. What about if one user buys a song, will it be in the library of all the others? Then Home Sharing only works with one ID from what I see. So if I have five accounts and purchase another computer I have to have five users on the new computer. Please help. I bought Apple for the ease of use and this is getting very complicated.
We were playing around with Find Friends thinking it would be great skiing this year, but since my wife and I are on the same AppleID we cannot track each other and only one person can use it at time.
It seems to me Apple is pushing each user in the family to have their own computer and ID.
Hopefully someone can please help me have peace again in the house (Mom and Dad with iPhones and 3 kids with Touch's one on PC). What is the best set-up to fit our needs?

I've read that article numerous times, and I'm trying to upgrade because MobileMe is requiring OS4 in order to work starting in about a month. However, the status box in iTunes hangs, saying Backing up iPhone...the little blue line only goes about 1/20 across the bar in about 1.5 hours. Any advice? (I have an up-to-date version of iTunes.)
