You would need to download iTunes on comp and download purchases again (you don't have to pay again) and upload your CDs again IF you sync your iPad to your computer it will erase everything

Delete the broken links in iTunes then look at your purchased list to redownload.
If this happened because you were deleting files from the iTunes folder in Finder, don't. You have to let iTunes do all the deleting and moving or you will end up with broken links.

Install iTunes.
Once install, hold SHIFT and launch iTunes.
When prompted, point iTunes to the correct location for the iTunesLibrary.itl file which should be in the iTunes folder under <user>/Music on the old drive.

It has always beenv ery basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If you have failed to backup, then you can redownload some content. Open itunes store, click Purchased, under Quick Links

My Windows 7 laptop had to be reset to factory settings and iTunes was wiped. I have all my songs and playlists on my iPod. Is there anyway to transfer the songs back over, but storing the number of plays I have and carrying across my playlists too?

My laptop had a few problems and it had to be reset to factory settings. Meaning my iTunes was wiped clean and I had to reinstall it. My previous iTunes (and current iPod nano) has 13 playlists, over 2000 songs and a record of plays going back 2 years (which i would like back since a lot of my playlists are play based).
I've followed guides online, and i've managed to get my songs from my iPod to my computer and thus onto iTunes again. But neither the play count, nor the playlists are transferring with these methods.
Considering when I first bought this laptop I had to redo all my playlists and I KNOW how time consuming and bloody annoying it was I'd rather not do it again.
Is there anyone that can give me a step by step guide of how to do this?
I would GREATLY appreciate this, as at current i'm refusing to sync my iPod again as I am so desperate to cling onto the playlists and plays I have, which means no new songs...

I figured a Nano would probably connect in a simpler way than the touch, but only have a couple computers and cables to test.
I've reinstalled iTunes, but not the full suite, and not all traces. I will attempt this, but I suspect its related to my touch. I was able to connect other iphones to my itunes without issue, using the same cable.

All my TV shows and movies are taking up too much space on my harddrive. If I delete them from my library, can I download them again later to rewatch? For example, if I delete the a season of The Walking Dead to clear up space on my harddrive, can I download it again later when I'm going through Walking Dead withdrawals? If so, how do I do that? CC - all footage content has shifted to a different section of the take - HELP!!!

I moved a project form CS6 to Premier CC and continued editing the project - having returned to it at a later date all the content within the cut has moved (i.e. the timeline is the same but what you are watching is no longer the same) as is everything has scrolled along - each clip length/ place is the same but what you are watching has changed... any pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!? - I currently have hours of work to redo... quick fix anyone?!

What kind of content?
If you're working with MXF clips and they're spanned (where the camera split a single clip into multiple video files to avoid exceeding maximum file size), then please consult Wil's solution in this thread: Update 7.2 and Canon MXF
If that's not the issue, then please tell us more about your project. Are you working with merged clips? Multicam sequences?

The complete iTunes library was already on my iPhone 4. Why would it all not go back on? It left out around 4 or 5 songs from my play list. How do I get them back on my iPhone?

Then, I tried backing up again. I still got the message there wasn't enough free space on my phone, and the missing songs from the iTunes library were not returned to my phone. I gave another try at syncing my iPhone. I still got the same message that the phone couldn't be synced because there wasn't enough free space in the iTunes library.
Any suggestions on how to remedy these problems will be appreciated!
BTW... I read a suggestion on the internet to restore my phone (I did this recently when something went wrong during a phone update and the whole process went 'hey-wire', shutting down before the update was complete. However, at that time, all of my songs and apps were still on my phone and stored in the iTunes library.) If I restore my iPhone now, will the apps and songs no longer on my phone be lost?

I was looking at a u tube video when all of a sudden when I tried to click the video off, the cursor started creating a circle around it and was moving all over and before I knew it, the google home page has shrunk down to a very small size all of the google eg web, video, etc details are in very small thumbnail rows on the left top of the screen and my tool bar is completely gone

Try [[How to clear the cache|clearing your cache]] that may well solve the problems on web content.
To get the tool bars back use Alt or F10 in your keyboard, then View -> Toolbars
* you will probably be able to just click on the relevant toolbar option such as the navigation toolbar to get it back
* if that fails you may need to consider the customise, and either drag items back, or restore the defaults
