Itunes wifi sync does not work after upgrade to OS X Yosemite
Hi,
After upgrade to OS X Yosemite itunes wifi sync with my ipad and iphone stopped working. After attaching the iphone and ipad with a cable, I could sync, but as soon as the cable was removed, the ipad and iphone disappeared again from itunes. And wifi did still nok work.
Apparently something is not being saved somewhere and this technique forces the save. Below is a C&P from another poster describing the technique on a different thread. It's been working for him for some fifteen hours. I tried it and it's been working but it's been only ten minutes. My gut feel is that quitting and relaunching iTunes are critical steps.
With the device connected via cable, click on its icon
Uncheck WiFi syncing
Click Apply
Quit iTunes
Launch iTunes
Check WiFi syncing
Click Apply

I Fixed it by trying to sign in with a different ID and canceling when it asked For a password and then signed in with my ID and it works! No more error message. I got this idea from another discussion. Thank you for replying though.

I attempted to ask this question, yesterday. However, I am not used to typing with my thumbs, yet, and messed it up some. So, I will give this another try. Auto brightness does not work after upgrade from iOS 5 to iOS 6 on my iPod touch. Is this intended by Apple, or is it a bug?

IPhone 4's WIFI has been not working after upgraded to 6.1.3(10B329)
My IPhone 4 was working fine with its WIFI when it is running in default IOS version, I believe it was 5.x.x version, however after I upgraded to 6.1.3(10B329) then WIFI got very aweired issues again and again.starting from then I never get my WIFI working again:
1. Sometimes I can connect to my home's network and keep alive for 1-2 minutes then WIFI will not work on IPone, my home's router is not working either, I need to restart my home's router manually;
2. I can connect to my office's network and keep alive 5-10 minutes then WIFI is not working, however my office router is not affected; however the following days then I can't connect WIFI to office's network any more.
3. I tried to connect to other public area's free network via WIFI, however never joined in.
I called Apple's service centre couple of times they have no clues, they said they never met this problem before for WIFI not working after upgraded to IOS 6.1.3 and no suggestions from them at all, every time I called them they gave me the same suggestion, such as restore-re-install, check your own router etc, nothing help, however my friend bought a brand new IPhone 4 with default IOS version 6.1.3 which is working perfectly without any issues on its WIFI then I believe this is a completely software issue.
I know this is a general issue for Apple users and I refuse to upgrade to higher version as I am not sure the higher version can fix this issue however I am pretty sure the newer version of IOS did bring a lot of new bugs, anyone can provide me any suggestions guys ? THANKS A LOTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TerrenceI have fixed this issue after upgraded my router's firmware finally, this is a completely compatibility issue between Apple and other third party manufactures, hopefully we can get compabitlity list for each future IOS version ahead of time which can potentially avoid such kind of embarrassing situations moving forward, thanks !

ITunes 11.1.5 wifi sync does not work
I have 10 wireless devices and an Apple Mac Mini with Mavericks and iTunes 11.1.5 and alll devices are running iOS 7.1.1. I noticed the other day that none of my devices have backed-up since late March and none of my devies have connected through wifi. I have attempted a shutdown, a stop process of the AppleMobileDeviceHelper and restart the iTunes and even did the stop process of AMDH shut-down/restart and then attempted the iTunes wifi sync to no avail. Anyone have the same problems?
Devices are Airport Extreme Base-station, Airport Extreme (Tower), and Airport Extreme TimeCapsule
Mac Mini (Latest), two MacBook Air (Latest)
Multiple iPhones from 5s, 5, and 4s

2 iPad mini RetinaIn case there is any confusion, iTunes did WiFi sync to iOS devices for years. It was rumored that Apple stopped it but only for a time. However, iTunes always had a check box for selecting WiFi syncing for the selected device. If you hook up the device by USB, select it on the left panel and go to the Summary tab, you will see a box "Sync with this iPhone over WiFi". Some trouble shooters have suggested unchecking, clicking apply, quit iTunes, then restart and recheck. In the past that would occasionally work for me. Now it doesn't work at all.
The really odd part. Often when I quit and restart iTunes (maybe reboot the Mac), the iOS devices will indeed appear in the list (when not connected via USB). However, selecting them simply brings up a progress indicator that disappears 30secs later and the device name disappears from the list.
Apple, if you can hear us, please FIX THIS! -
IPhone 3G - 3G Does not work after upgrading to 4.2.1
Once again Apple has screwed something up. Upgraded to 4.2.1 on Friday and now my 3G reception does not work. I've factory restored and still no good. Whats up with the quality control these days? Seems as if every software update across iOS and Mac OS/X has at least 1 major flaw.
Does Apple read these posts?my problem is more curious i use 4.2.1. on a 3g iphone which is "open" from italy
my network is kpn/simyo
4.2 everything worked... no tethering offered
4.2.1. most apps including safari weather etc are not able to use the data network,but the NS dutch railways app is able to use the data connection
and suddenly i get offered tethering in the network settings
But the screen for manually set your network settings is disappaered, so as my provider cant send setup files to my phone makes it impossible to manually setup a phone network, which is strange for an "open" never been locked iphone
Will see what happens the next day as there are more buggs reported about network and 4.2.1.
WIFI works perfectly....
Was planning to buy an iphone 4 but if apple cant guarantee the use of what you buy..... by issuing software with flaws..... If they would just offer a downgrade option for software.. -
Caldav does not work after upgrade from 10.6.8
Hello!
After upgrading two test servers from 10.6.8 to 10.7.2 with no problems i decided last night it is time to upgrade our production server.
Took sometime but everything went well except for caldav service. If I understand the log right the migration to lion-calendars crashes when the script wants to put the calendars from filesystem into a database.
After reboot the script runs into the same error.
BTW the notification service does not work also. But that is not very important.
Every help is appreciated, bye

1. sudo serveradmin stop calendar addressbook
2. copy old 10.6.8 calender data from backup ("../Library/CalendarServer/Documents/") to /Library/Server/Calendar\ and\ Contacts/Documents/
3. delete database: sudo dropdb -U _postgres caldav
4. mv (if it exists) /Library/Server/Calendar\ and\ Contacts/Documents/calendars-migrated to /Library/Server/Calendar\ and\ Contacts/Documents/calendars-migrated-old
5. sudo calendarserver_bootstrap_database
6. now we start again: sudo serveradmin start calendar
7. watch the log file - tail -f /var/log/caldavd/error.log
And I get the same error as above but now I see a new one:

Open Hub does not work after upgrade
We just upgraded our BW production system from 3.0b into 3.5 and we are running support package level 09. Now we are facing serious problems with Open Hub.
After upgrade Open Hub delivering data from infocube into
csv-files does not work. When running the InfoSpoke it
will deliver 0 data records even though it should bring considerable amount of data.
There is no error message or short dump, it just do not deliver any data. InfoCube has data in place and it is available for reportoing. Extraction is made in FULL-mode and there is no transformations. Funny thing is that extraction from ODS or InfoObject works perfectly fine.
Has anyone idea how to solve this?

We just upgraded our BW sandbox environment from 3.0b into 3.5. We are running support package level 13, though. Now we are facing serious problems with Open Hub.
After the upgrade, our Open Hub which delivers data from an info cube into CSV-files does not work any more.
When running the Info Spoke it will deliver 0 data records even though it should bring a considerable amount of data.
There is no error message or short dump, it just does not deliver any data. The Info Cube has data in place and it is available for reporting.
The Extraction is made in FULL-mode and there are no transformations.
Has anyone an idea how to solve this?

After an upgrade of acrobat reader 9 to acrobat reader 11 the automatic printing of a pdf. The pdf is opened, but the print does not happen. With acrobat reader 9 it works. But with acrobat reader 11 the printing does not happen.
I discovered when you specify pp.constants.interactionLevel.full it works on acrobat reader 11. But when you specify pp.constants.interactionLevel.silent or pp.constants.interactionLevel.automatic it does not work on acrobat reader 11. But with the full option we have a dialog print box
we do not want.
In our jsp we load a pdf document and create a message handler to detect the print events of a pdf document that is in an <object> tag.

Did you try to reboot your router? I had the same problem after upgrade to iOS 6 but rebooting the router solved the problem for me. What other fixes did you try?

Back Button does not work after upgrade to F4.01, why?
90% of the time, since my upgrade to Firefox 4.01, my Back Button (arrow) does not work. I know there's a referring page and it hasn't opened a new window. Ideas?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Thanks for the answer- but I mangage to solve the problem my self this time... I just did go to controlpanel - and clicked right button on the mouse - and updated both sound drivers thatI did find in there. After restart of the lap - everything worked ut well.. I am supprized !! Carsten

ITunes WIFI Sync is not working on win7 64 bit OS
I am having problems using itunes wifi syncup with windows 7 64 bit OS. I connected the cable and enabled the option under summary screen. The "syn now" is enabled now under settings -> General -> itunes wifi sync up. When i un plug the cable from my computer, it is greyout and displays "Sync will resume when XXX computer is available". Its annoying. Push some ideas !!

USB headset does not work after upgrading to Yosemite
I upgraded MacBook Pro 13" retina to Yosemite and lost Logitech PC Headset 960 sound.
System preferences shows it in input and output, but no sound.
After I plug in and out headset I loose even internal sound for Spotify.
When headset is plugged in Youtube videos on Chrome stops playing, when I take them out - video resumes.
Hardware should be ok, because I have 2 pairs of such headset (both of them are not working) and the same hardware on Windows 7 (bootcamp) do work with headset perfectly.
Have anyone the same/similar problem. Does anyone has solution? Should I migrate back to Maverick and how to do it?

Select Logitech/headphone and then back to "Selected sound output device".
