ITunes will launch for specific admin but no other user (including root).

Mac OS X 10.6.3, iTunes 9.1.1
I have re-installed iTunes using a different admin user and even as root and the problem persists. I have repaired permissions with root as well (after trying with 2 admin users). Permissions show as being repaired.
I have never seen an issue on any *nix system where an app won't launch for root but will launch for a user.
Any ideas on how to fix it or anyone know how to completely uninstall iTunes from the system to try again from scratch?

The application starts to launch in the Dock but never finishes and I've looked all over Console's logs to try and find an error message but there isn't one. It does not bring up the "Unexpectedly Quit" dialog, either.
If you are familiar with how apps crash on the iPhone, where they just immediately exit back to SpringBoard, it is like that.
The strange thing is, my main account which is an administrator, does not have any problems launching iTunes. I only discovered this problem because I can't use the File Sharing feature of any of my iPad apps so I was using a different test login (also an admin) to troubleshoot. Then I thought maybe there was a permissions error I couldn't find so I logged in with root and the problem persisted there, too. I am thinking if I fix this error I will be able to use File Sharing (which works on the same iPad with my VAIO and Win7).
I would just re-install Mac OS X but my optical drive doesn't work any more.

Spent an hour on phone with M$ support, only to be told it's my fault and I have to re-design my WF...if my WF gets any simpler I'll have to use carrier pigeons to get messages to customers!
I've Googled the error message, results suggest that User Profile Syn is out of whack but M$ support swears up & down our sync is working fine.
Anyone?

According to your description, my understanding is that the SharePoint workflow 2013 does not work for end-users in your environment.
For your issue, it can be a permission for the user initiating the workflow. Please make sure site feature Workflows can use app permissions is activated. Go to Site actions > Site Settings >
Site features > Workflows can use app permissions. Make sure the user is one member of a SharePoint Group.
Also please provide more detail information about the error message to determine the exact cause of the error. You can have a look at the blog:

I've been avidly following all of the threads regarding this issue...yet none of the solutions have worked for me. I've got 11 Mac users that do not use the Creative Suite..only Acrobat, Quark, etc. I've tried installing and re-installing through both Admin and User accounts, I've tried the AdobeBib XML change, I've tried enabling Root and installing, changing permission on the Acrobat folder, etc. all to no avail. I still get asked for Admin Authentication every time Acrobat and Distiller are opened (except on the Admin account side). This is happening on one particular Mac (G4, 1GB Ram, OS 10.4.3) for both Acrobat Standard 6 and 7 as well. The biggest issue that also happens in tandem with the Acrobat installs is the inability to print from Quark. I get the following error when printing: "The process "pictwpstops" terminated unexpectedly on signal 6." Because of the necessity to print Quark documents, I have uninstalled all Acrobat on the machines until we can get a fix. This resolves the printing problem with Quark. The only option left is to set up all users as Admin accounts - which I really do not want to do. Any other suggestions out there? I've got more information available if needed.

You need to be running Mac OS X 10.5 or newer to get iTunes 10. This OS version won't run on a G3.
Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6 are available on DVD. Mac OS X 10.6 requires an Intel Mac.

If I select my user name as a storage location in Itunes, Itunes creates folders for artist name right in my user folder, instead of in my user/music folder. This gets especially annoying because if I tell Itunes to store my "media" in my user/music folder, Itunes will then create a folder named "music" in my "music" folder and will also create additional folders in my user/music folder location to store other non-music media in as well. It is very annoying to see this lack of affinity for folders between two Apple created programs.

I have followed instructions found elsewhere to do the following:
•“C:\Program Files\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe” -remove (Note: delete the quotes displayed here and type again using keyboard)
•Navigate to the following folder in Windows Explorer: C:\Program Files\Bonjour
•Rename the mdnsNSP.dll file in that folder to mdnsNSP.old
•Restart your computer
•Delete the the Program Files\Bonjour folder
All successful, now there is nothing that has anything to do with iTunes , Quictime, Apple Software Update, Bonjuor,...etc on my machine, now what do I install so I can get iTunes to work on Win 7 x 64 bit edition... ?

How do I get all of the music on my computer to transfer to my Iphone? For some reason, itunes has picked up some songs but not others. example, I have several CD's loaded in which only 1 or 2 songs from the CD shows up in itunes.

I have about 70 Cd's loaded on my computer as I had previously owned another MP3 device before I got enamored with the Ipad and Iphone. My problem is itunes will not recognize all of this music. To give a specific example, I have an old Bon Jovi Cd "crossroads" , itunes only recognizes 2 songs off the Cd. How can I get itunes to recognize these songs? They do not show up on itunes anywhere but if i go to my music folder I can locate the songs and it even shows the itunes logo but, the songs will not play with itunes. I've got a few hours of music i would like to have on my iphone. Can anyone please help me with this?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything on the computer, then sync.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone to your computer - File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

ITunes accepts password for initial login but not for Match, account information or automatic downloads

I have an iMac with 2.0 Ghz core duo running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and the latest iTunes 10.5.1. iTunes will accept my initial login for purchases and access to the iTunes Store. But if I attempt to access my account information, enable automatic downloads or iTunes Match, I get a login window that states, "Sign in required." I enter in the correct password but iTunes does not allow me further access. It just keeps giving me the same login window over and over. It does not state that I have entered in the wrong password.
I have attempted a few remedies, all without success:
1. Preferences>advanced>reset warnings and reset cache then restart.
2. User>library>preferences. Placed plist preferences for iTunes in trash, then emptied trash. Restart.
3. Reset password.
4. Trashed iTunes application, emptied trash. Downloaded new copy of iTunes 10.5.1. Restart.
5. Delete SC folder and restart computer.
None of these attempts have fixed the problem. I run the same software on my MacBook with a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo and I have full access without any problems on that computer. The only problem is with the older iMac.
Any tips or solutions would be most appreciated.

Well, no I haven't heard from Apple yet. But I'm slightly embarrassed. When I was told there was no way I could combine accounts, the friendly Apple lady suggested I change the ID on the old account to be similar to my new ID. I did that (and promptly forgot about it). Until just now. Once again, I'm able to update my Apps, but it's still annoying you can't combine accounts.

ITunes duplicating artwork for same artist but different song.

iTunes is automatically adding artwork to another song of the same artist in my library. I import artwork for one track of an artist and iTunes applies that artwork to all tracks by the same artist. This is silly. They are all singles and I want each track to have the proper artwork.
I have tried deleting the duplicated artwork and adding its own but that doesnt help. I tried restarting iTunes as well.

Let me try to be more clear. I have 100 SINGLES that I have in an album that I named "1980 Top 100". I do this because I have 1981, 82, 83, 84..and so on.
Within this album I have a few artist with 2 or 3 singles. iTunes is automatically adding the artwork for "Air Supply - All Out Of Love" to "Air Supply - Lost In Love". I should be able to add a different artwork for each single an artist has within this album. However, I cannot seem to force iTunes to use the artwork I want for a track of the same artist.
THE REASON I BELIEVE THIS CAN BE FIXED:
From those 2 tracks by Air Supply, they each are showing different artwork in their info. Coverflow seems to be grouping the artists.
EDIT: In another album Im getting this:
CoverFlow is not grouping the artist but it is using the same artwork for both even though they each have their own separate artwork in the info...

My iTunes will restore my iPhone 4s but it won't turn on?

I dropped my iphone in the toliet a few days ago but luckily i quickly retrived it. i dried it off but didnt turn it off and i just put it in rice for over a day and i took it out today. my iphone wont turn on but when i connect it to itunes it did restore the phone but it still wont turn on? does anyone have an idea as to how to fix the phone?

It is clear liquid damage, nobody here can help you out with that. Putting the iPhone in raw rice to dry out can help but a positive result is never guaranteed. All anybody could suggest is to take it to an Apple Store to get a replacement for a fee.

When i got the cards i scratched it off, to get my pin number. When i put my pin number into my phone / laptop.. both of the cards said that there was an error with the card.. which i dont understand since they were new. I dont know how much money was on it all i recied were the 2 cards.

Open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons on iPhone until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. This usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Restore the iPhone Firmware.
