ITunes Will No Longer Sync

I have an iPhone and iPad and today iTunes will not longer recognize either or will not sync with PC or update. I am not sure how to procede. Any suggestions out there. Worst case I delete all of itunes and begin again. but will lose music, correct?

I still have not resolved this issue. My iPhone is now back to being able to sync, but iPad is not. I am thinking about just returning my new iPad if it is going to be this much trouble. It will do me absolutly no good if I cannot sync. I do not want to have to uninstall and reinstall. I did that once and lost all my music even though I back up. Then to pick and choose apps again from library and place them seems like too much work. Very frustrated that itunes will not run both for me...
If anyone has any ideas for me let me know. If I do not have this resolved by Wednesday then I am returning iPad.

When I went to download some pics (originally taken with my iphone 4S) from my computer back to my iPhone I got the following error message: "iTunes will no longer sync photos to the iPhone "Peter's iPhone". Do you want to keep or remove photos previosly synced to your iPhone?"
Coincidentally, my wife just purchased an iPhone 4S and syncs to iTunes on the same computer.

The "best" way to handle it, if you want to keep everything separate, is to create separate user accounts on the computer. make sure you log into your account on the computer before you attempt to sync your phone and log out when you're done using the computer.
Though it's possible to sync both of them to the same iTunes library, and even share an account for the iTunes store, you're inviting confusion and possible data loss (as you've discovered already). Best to just use separate user accounts on the computer. That also gives you the benefit of not polluting the other persons browser favorites, contacts, etc.

I keep getting the following message when syncing my phone: iTunes will no longer sync photos to the iPhone. I just recently updated my iPhone 5s to the latest iOS version and iTunes is the latest version as well. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Problem seems to be resolved. Photos are now syncing.

Itunes will no longer sync to my brand new iPad. Synched with old one just fine. Goes through process and finishes but still no music and no error. Tried selecting specific artists or songs and same. Have lastest software on both. Running Windows 7 Ultimate. Tried reinstalling iTunes, nothing is working. I had previously used iTunes Match but that was locking up my computer so I've since turned it off on the iPad so that I could have all of my music, not just the 300 or so that Match decided to add. Got this error message and can't understand. Notes and syncing with my Mac was one of the main things I use. Mac is MacBook running 10.7.5 and iPod touch is 6.1.3
Any help on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

YES Terence! Thank you. Exporting allowed me to move my photos from iPhoto into the Burn Folder on my desktop. But that doesn't explain why I'm having to go that route now. Have I done something (accidentally changed some setting) on my computer that will not allow me to just click and drag anymore? I really liked the convenience of the click and drag option.
I don't have the time tonight to export and burn a lot of CD/DVDs. I'll try that tomorrow and make sure my photos are moving properly. I also need to export photos to my external hard drive to make sure that route is working.
Wouldn't you know that my Apple Care Plan runs out this Wednesday?! I need to make sure everything is working properly before that expires.

Just loaded iTunes data into iTunes in Lion. Getting message "iTunes will no longer sync Photos..." ..."

Just transferred my iTunes data from Snow Leopard to Lion ( Both same version of iTunes} and I am getting a message saying the iTunes will no longer sync Photos to my iPhone. Has something been changed as far as photo syncing?

I recently switched my itunes from my imac's harddrive to an external harddrive to safe space. Every since I did this a few days ago, my itunes will no longer pick up any of my iphones (3gs,4,& 5) or our ipad 2. I cannot sync them to add music, apps, and vids to each of the devices. . All that music is in Music library on iTunes and plays well has been purchased with the same Apple id. On Windows -7, iTunes 10.5.
. Under previous purchased icon on iTunes all music shows downloaded.
. Unchecked music Sync from iTunes > removed all songs from the phone.
. Tried syncing manually just 1 song and got the same error "1 item could not be synced check iTunes for explanation " and there is no message on iTunes.
. We deleted all the Songs from iTunes and now re-adding.
. If this does not work then I will be testing with re-creating a new Library and testing in a new user account..
Does anyone have a better idea...?

That definitely sounds frustrating! I have actually encountered this same behavior in the past, and switching out the USB to 30-pin cable was the resolution (hardware issue with the cable). Does the same behavior occur when you use a different cable?
If so, we may need to troubleshoot the USB connection on your computer. Refer to this article:

Itunes will no longer sync new music to my ipod

I've had my ipod for a year and have been able to use it fine. Now, however, the ability to sync new music to my ipod has been removed. I've recently bought a new computer and successfully transferred everything over and been able to sync my ipod with the new computer and it has been working fine. THen I decided to buy some new music from the itunes store. At first I bought a few songs and placed them in a pre-existing playlist and that worked fine. Then I decided to download the next part of an audio book I bought a while ago off audible so I could listen to the next part and while I could download it it wouldn't add to itunes the way I've done it for the last 80 or so audiobooks I've downloaded from audible (go to file, select add file to library, find file, double click and then sync)
There was no error message, just when I synced it wasn't there. So I bought an album from the itunes store. Again, something I've done before. I can buy the album, I can download it, I can even make a playlist for the album and listen to it on my computer. When I sync I get no error message but nothing I try can get that album from my computer onto my ipod.
The only way I can listen to anything new (including the stuff I have already paid for) is to do so on my computer, which I don't want to do as I can't carry my computer around public transport with me. Besides, this is why I bought an ipod!
I'm not trying to do aything new, just what I've done before.

Updated to IOS 7 and now itunes will no longer sync my entire music library

I just got off the phone with an Apple Senior advisor. I advises that I had just updated to IOS7 and was synching my iPad only to find out that it would not synch any music that was not downloaded through itunes. I have 865 songs that I have accumulated over the years by burning cds and adding them to my itunes library. Never have I had an issue with itunes synching the songs but now it appears that Apple is only going to support songs that you purchase through itunes. Can someone give me some direction on how to transfer the songs that I have on my ipad to my itunes library since synching with IOS7 will completely wipe out my library. I have Ipad 2, iPod Touch and an original iPod.

The first time I synced my iphone with this new itunes 10, it synced all music and voice memos str8 from my iphone to the itunes LIBRARY (specifically). Now for some odd reason, it wont send ANYTHING, from my iphone to the ITUNES LIBRARY.It will only take whats in the ITUNES LIBRARY, and import it into my iphone, Can someone please help me with this .
