ITunes will not allow me 2 add more than 3 songs at one time in2 my library

iTunes won't allow me to add more than 3 songs at one time into my library. I just want to select a number of songs in 'My Music' folder on my pc and then add them in one go. I used to be able to on older versions of iTunes, but now it will only let me add 3 songs (using the 'add file to library' option), and no more then one (using the 'import' option). It's just very annoying as it takes aaages to add songs into my library, when it shouldn't. if anyone knows how to overcome this, please let me know! Thanks

I'm getting this message ob my new iMac from iTunes. You cannot authorize more than 5 computers.
You have already authorized this computer you must first deauthorize one of the computers. I did that with my old computer. did a clean install on other with Mac OS X. Anybody can help would be appreciated. Thank you for looking.

If you go to your account under the Store menu in iTunes - you will have the option to deauthorize all machines (if you do have 5 authorized). I think you can only do this once a year. Then you need to authorize the machines you still use.
A clean install does not do anything to the authorization, it's stored on your account at the iTunes store.

Router will not allow PC to filter more than once

I've been using the Restrict Access MAC filtering for awhile. For some reason, however, the router (BEFW11S4 v.4) will only allow a computer to edit the access list once. After that access, clicking on the "Edit Access List" will yield no response, not even an error message. This has been the case with two or three different Mac computers, a PC, and an iPod Touch. Beyond resetting the router and reentering all the MAC addresses (of which I'm tiring), do you have any suggestions? I can't find any other anecdotes or information on this problem. We've had this router for several years; should it be replaced? Thanks...

Yes, I've tried from PC and Macs, even from an iPod Touch– all the same result: one access per computer.
BUT...For some reason, today was the magic day. Firmware updated. I'm guessing that the previous firmware (from 2003) was the reason for my access problems. I have always had issues upgrading firmware in the past though.
I am very grateful for your help. This has been bugging me for a long time.

What is the specific Music Score that you used in the Premiere Elements 12/12.1 Mac Soundtrack that was limiting you in the number of words that could be included as text in the project's opened Titler?
Please confirm
a. Working in Expert workspace or Quick workspace?
and
b. Was the 12.1 Update in effect before and after you observed that the Music Score soundtrack removal resolved the issue of number of words limit in the Titler?
and
c. Did the Titler problem exist if you replace the Music Score soundtrack with a non Music Score music file?
and
d. If you moved the Music Score soundtrack to one of the numbered Audio Tracks, did the Titler problem exist?
If you have no Music Score soundtrack in the project, create your title of 80 plus words in the Titler, close the Titler, and then bring the Music
Score soundtrack to the project's Soundtrack, does that strategy work for you?
The above information will help me to think about what happened in your case and give me more insight into how to prevent it happening to
you in future projects.

I had to change my computer's hard disk which is a mac, I updated itunes as I had done before with my other hard disk, but now my itunes will not allow me to manage anything in my iphone 4s. Forget the pad for a moment and just think about I tunes on your computer. Every now and then( 3 times over 6 years) when doing an I tunes upgrade, I tunes seems to lose track of some of my music files. They show up in the I tunes listing, but when you try to play, it cannot find the source. The cause is always that I have somehow moved some or all of the music to a library that is outside of the set of libraries I have dragged into I tunes.
On your computer, search for one of the songs. All the missing ones are probably together, and when you find one, you will find the rest. When you find it, note the directory and file path to where it lives, then add that path to your I tunes

Note, the original listing will still be in I tunes, so you will get double listings for theses songs, and no easy way to tell which is the valid ane and which is not, other than the ! Symbol when it cannot find the file. I know of no good way to get rid of the duplicate listing except manually going through and deleting them.
One you get them back into your I tunes library, they will sync and play fine.
Second side effect, if you are streaming to atv, and it comes accross one of those entries that leads nowhere, it simply stops streaming, and you have to restart the play.

What does the error say?
Turn off "Show Audio Volumes" and "Show Wave Forms"
Depending on the transition, you will need to highlight both clips affected by the transition.

Ipod Mini will not allow me to add any songs.

Ok so i have a Ipod Mini.. It worked PERFECT until my last update. My itunes is fully updated (1.4.1). I was about to drag my new songs to my Itune Playlist, and it wouldnt let me. As soon as i would let the song drop in the play list this would come out "file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/admin/Shared/T,does not seem to be a valid podcast url. Pleasecheck that you have entered the correct URL and try again." I am not sure what my podcast URL was..And i dont really know where i can view my podcast url so i can fix it ..

After you click "no" to that message, use one of the suggestions here to get the music from your iPod back to iTunes.

There's also another method I've seen posted. I've successfully tested this across several different Windows PCs.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
However it appears that no playlists or any other info such as ratings/last played etc will transfer.
If this is important to you, you may want to use other options.
There's Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music and playlists etc from iPod back to the computer.
Once you are sure that the music is safely back in iTunes (and not before), you can click "yes" to that message, associate the iPod with your new iTunes installation and start using the iPod and iTunes as normal.

Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.

Itunes wants to delete all my Ipod music before sync any new music. How do I work around this. I think this happened during Itunes Upates.

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
