Itunes will not connect to store help - have not been able to connect since March

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

ITunes will not run on my computer since I tried to upgrade the software
I performed an upgrade a while back to my iTunes software. Every since then it will not open even though it says it is running in my task manager. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling a hundred times with no luck so far. I recently went to the iTunes support page and found a thread that I thought would solve my problem (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302386). I followed the steps and deleted the file with no success. I have tried to start it without my firewall and Norton completely shut down and this did not work either. I am really frustrated and could use some help.
I know it sounds nuts, but it has helped probably 30 or more pple in the last day or two alone.
There is a version of malware going around causing iTunes to not open. It started showing up sometime in October. Its a bear, but Ewido seems to be removing it for pple to open iTunes -
Itunes will not allow music to sync since latest upgrade
Trying to sync music to two different ipods and ipad. since downloading the latest itunes version, no music will sync to either device. I have checked selected songs (different for each device) and it will recognize 1755 songs but on the capacity bar, no audio is showing and when syncing, no music is transferred. I have tried restoring each device, all have latest upgrades....don't understand why it won't sync properly. any ideas out there?

Not been able to sync since updating to dm6
i really have not had a good experience with blackberry so far.
i bought my first blackberry in dec 2010, it came with os5 and dm5, no problems with anything.
i then upgraded to os6 and dm6. ever since then i cannot even connect my bb to my laptop.
as soon as i plug my phone into the usb port i get 'rim.transcoder has stopped working', and that's it.
i've run windows update regulary and updated my os which is vista.
i have been syncing media using other apps, but i need to sync my yahoo calendar items.
it is so frustrating.
my laptop has vista 7 and 2gb of ram.Just tried everything and it appears that its a yahoo issue. They're rolling out 'yahoo sync' which replaces 'auto sync'. They're very specific in saying it won't work with BB Desktop. The only thing it will sync with is MS Outlook

I did find a table at one point that said that iphone sync was "coming soon". There was a blank space for when BB support was expected.

Does anyone know why my iphone5 has not been able to charge since ive updated it to ios7?
It's happening even with cable that came with my wife and my own iphones. We bothe get the message!

Recently upgraded Mac OS to 10.5.5 - have an older G4 which is max'd out upgrade-wise - both processor and OS. At present Safari is 3.1.2. Itunes is 9.2.1. Itunes will not allow me to connect to store - says it requires Safari 4.0.3 - however, when I try to download Safari 4.0.3 or newer it says it requires an older version of the OS. What to do?
Update v10.5.5 to v10.5.8
Download and install the combo > Mac OS X 10.5.8 Combo Update
Then restart your Mac.
That should update Safari for you to 5.0.6 and that should help with iTunes.
If necessary, after updating to v10.5.8, you can use the standalone Safari installer here > Safari 5.0.6 for Leopard -

Ive got the same problem, just got my iphone unlocked, and they told me to sync it to itunes to get it permently unlocked, well everytime i plug my iphone in it says; it wont work as it needs up dating to 10.6.3, which i have already updated, but still doesnt work, so how can i get my phone unlocked?

my itunes will not open the itunes store...it will will attempt to open and then simply stop trying.... also everytime I open Itunes it will run my cpu up to 100%...this makes my computer run really slow. my frustration is it didn't do this untill two days ago when I downloaded the suggested apple updates....I already uninstalled it in the order suggested online and reinstalled, but I still have the same problem I am kind of frustrated and just want to know how to fix it?????? please help

I recently connected my new ipad to my itunes, but now itunes will not recognise my ipod classic, and 50gig of music has gone. ipad connects ok but no longer ipod which has been there for two years! help!!!
What happens when the iPod is plugged in? anything? any errors?
Why is 50GB of music gone? All music should exist on the computer. Only a fool would rely on a single device which could easily be lost or stolen to store their content on. -

Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.

I have a Iphone 4 gsm (8f190) and it will not connect to itunes and when i put it in recovery itunes will not work. It won't show up when plugged into the computer. Only charges when plugged in the wall or a car charger. I've tried everything imaginable but I can't get the phone to register in iTunes at all.. The phone won't even reset.. when i try and reset EVERYTHING on the phone the apple logo with the progress bar starts to come up but the progress never moves.. PLEASE help me.. I'm at my wits end with this phone and I'm ready to just trash it.

Dude you have a jailbroken phone as stated in your first post, no need to do a second post.

I have tiger 10.4.11. In order for my computer to recognize my new Iphone I need to install the new iTunes, however the new iTunes will not download on my computer because it is not 10.5 or higher. Is there a way that I can upgrade from tiger to leopard? Help!!
