How to De-authorize an older PC running Windows 2000 PC with iTunes 7? My itunes will not connect with the iTunes store to all the deauth request.
The "Deauthorize All" command is only available if iTunes thinks you are currently using 5 authorizations.
Otherwise, you can only deauthorize the old computer by using "Deauthorize this computer" from the computer itself.
If the old computer is no longer operable, you can't deauthorize it, but that is not a problem. -

my itunes on a windows 7 pc with dsl connection will not connect with the itunes store. Any suggestions about why not or how to get it to connect?
After reading the whole post, I still don't capture the exact error message or code from it when you failed to install Office 2013.
The only clue is that "bootstrap loader error" ...
It seems that you want to upgrade Office 2007 to new Office 2013, by default, we could complete the uninstall previous Office version and install the new Office in the installation wizard.
At this point, if you get the install source through CD or other media. I recommand that we copy/paste the installation to local drive. Then turn off all of anti-virus and firewall, begin to setup in
Windows clean boot mode.
Please use a setup log to troubleshoot setup problems in Office if the installation problem still occurs.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing iTunes and my pc still will not connect with the iTunes Store. I have tried just about every suggestion on the web to no avail, please help.
When I click on the store it just never opens, I do not receive any message. I try to "refresh the page" and nothing. While having the store selected I go to "help" and check for updates and i get a message; "The iTunes updatte server could not be contacted" and it prompts me to check my internet connection which is fine. None of the items under the "Store" respond with anything.
I ran a iTunes Diagnostics/ Under "Which Tests do you want to run" I check only "Network Connections" and the results that I receive is...
Network connectivity:
Network interfaces, verified
iTunes Store connectivity:
Internet connection, verified
Secure link to iTunes Store, FAILED

Itunes can not connect with the Itunes store
Every time I try to connect to the ITunes Store an error pops up : Itunes can not connect with the Itunes store. I have downloaded the updated software and have access to the internet. Anyone ever run into this problem?
If it still has problems after trying the steps above, try resetting Winsock. It looks like it worked for a few people in this thread -> With iTunes 10.4 I can access iTunes store.
MTG68 wrote - In windows 7, click on your start menu, go to accessories, right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator". Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
hit enter and it should say something like winsock reset successful now reboot your computer. -

When I go to iTunes and then check for updates. I can not do this action due to the fact iTunes will not connect to the internet although the internet is working just fine, what do I do to fix this issue? Apparently I am currently using iTunes 7.0.
If you're really using iTunes 7.0 you are very far behind the current version - maybe it is trying to connect to a decomissioned server. In fact I am kind of surprised it will run on a Macbook Air. Are you sure you are running iTunes 7?

My new iphone 5 will not connect with the idrive on my new BMW 3 Series (F30) via the lightening USB - does anyone have any ideas?
What have you done thus far to troubleshoot your issue? Have you powered down and rebooted your router yet?

I just tried updating ITunes to the new version and it will not completely download and now I get an error message of MSVCR80. Is there a problem with the new iTunes version?
Now ITunes won't open.Help!!!Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features(Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Well I went to update my itunes again to update my iphone and once again after itunes installed it will not connect to the store so I cannot update my iphone. I have deleted it and added it again in both norton and windows firewall and it still will not work. Any help would be great as this is a real pain.

There have been reports that some such utilities treat an upgrade to iTunes as a new application and can block the application from connecting. So you have to go in and reset the utility to allow iTunes. The same thing can happen if you upgrade the security product (this has particularly been a problem with recent McAfee upgrades).
Check the settings for your utility. If iTunes is still listed, remove and re-enable the exception for iTunes. Consult your utility's documentation for the appropriate procedure; you can find instructions for Norton on Symantec's web page for iTunes. You may also need to check the built-in Windows firewall as well.
Hope this helps. -

Ever since I installed the new iTunes on my laptop I get an error message. "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again."
I have an internet connection with my laptop as I am posting this message from it. I don't know if there is a setting in the new itunes or what. Any help would be great.

As said in the question, my ipod touch will not connect to the newest version of itunes. When I plug it in, my compter recognizes that a device has been connected, yet it will not show up in itunes. I didn't have this problem until I just updated to the new itunes. Someone help please!

iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
It still could be cable or contacts in the iPod since different contacts/conductor are used for charging and data -
Unable to start sync because iTunes will not connect to internet. Computer is connected but iTunes will not connect. I even deleted iTunes and downloaded again. Will not connect still.
I am experiencing this problem as well.
I have access to the internet and can download songs from the music store but iTunes is being its usual pain in the rear and says I do not have an internet connection when I try to download any updates.
This does not seem to be a firewall issue, at least as far as I can tell, as I have McAfee and both iTunes and iTunes Helper have Full Access in my firewall settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
