ITunes will not install AMDS will not load

Hi!
So I just wiped my computer clean and went to install iTunes onto my computer (Windows 7, 64-bit).
As I was installing it, I received an error: http://i.imgur.com/nIlut.png giving me a string of numbers (i.e. 0x800736B3). When I tried searching for this error, I found a few things I could to do to try & fix it. Repair Bonjour & Apple Update, Uninstall/reinstall them both, &/or use CCleaner. After many, many attempts at all of those options, nothing worked.
My next problem happens after the download progress rewinds and goes forward again. I'm told that AMDS wouldn't launch and to make sure that I had permissions to do so. After going to my services and manually starting the service, I get this error: http://i.imgur.com/Ivunh.png I did find search results on this error; ccleaner again amongst other things. I keep uninstaling portions of iTunes, keep restarting, yet it hasn't worked. Any ideas?

I restarted with a preivous system configuration from last week. Now I have iTunes and QT, but not the most recent version. I can not sync with my iPod ... well that's not true ... I can sync, but once the sync is finished I can't see the songs or playlists on my iPod. This is why I am trying to upgrade my iTunes.
I still can not upgrade, install, or download Apple software.
The version of QT currently on my machine is 7.2.0240
Version of iTunes is: 7.3.2.6

I have installed VMware server 2.0.2 in Windows 7, everything is working but one thing not...
When I control my VM by VMware remote console, sometime It(VMware Infrastructure Web Access) tell me "The VMware Remote Console Plug-in is not installed or could not be found" even I have installed it many time.
What can I do?

The following workaround works on Windows for any browser.
(1) install the plug in. Never mind that it does not work.
(2) locate the executable vmware-vmrc.exe, this is typically in the following directory
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\VMware\VMware Remote Console Plug-in"
(3) Obtain the virtual machine ID from the links for the VM in the web UI. e.g. the following is machine ID 192
https://servername:8333/ui/#{e:"VirtualMachine|192",w:{t:true,i:0}}
In IE you get these by selecting the link and then looking at its properties using right click.
If you are really keen and want to write something more sophisticated the VM ID codes seem to be in:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware Server\hostd\vmInventory.xml
(4) you can then create a COMMAND file or shortcut on your desktop (for the example above).
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\VMware\VMware Remote Console Plug-in\vmware-vmrc.exe" -h localhost:8333 -M 192
When you use this link you will need to log in using the webui username and password, and it will start the VM if it is not running.
(5) I use the following batch file (I am old school), as an icon on my desktop. I have not tried, but it should work from ANO desktop provided the VRMC is installed on the client and the script uses the correct IP for the host.
Hope that helps someone and saves them the time I have just spent.

Driver will not install..will not sync..reinstalled iTunes 4 times.now what

Yeah, that's it. It says that the driver may have been replaced by another program. I have deleted a good chunk of programs and reinstalled iTunes and nothing has change. Except some stuff that I purchased is gone, but where to now. I bought the iPad so I didn't have to use my computer any more. Too bad I can't just link it to a 1T WD my book and be done with it. What driver are you referring to: The Apple Mobile Device driver? Have you looked here:

Do you have the 32 or 64 bit version of Vista? Are you getting the right version of iTunes since 32 bit drivers do not work on 64 bit systems and the other way around.

Itunes 10.2will not install amds on windows 7 64bit

I have spent the last two days on the Internet and apple support to try and install iTunes 10 64bit onto my new computer running windows 7 64bit.All I find on Apple support is about removeing and reinstalling not about amsd missing or not installing and uninstalling in a certain order and reinstalling, have done this more times than I care to say. iTunes 10 installs then rolls back and does not install the apple mobile device support msi.I have done everything suggested by support forums and everything requested by apple support and the final comment from them was if this doesn't work they don't know, not to great an answer.
I am now very frustrated and angry that a fault like this has not been solved by Apple, as I now have a new computer and a useless iTunes that will not sync my iPhone 4 or my iPod or my wife's iphone3gs or her iPod shuffle.
I don't know what to do now as my last resort I put the computer back to factory settings and it still did not work,sorry forgot to mention I extracted the apple mobile devise support .msi with winrar and tried to install it separately but still no luck,

i've been having the same problem. spoken to online support, they made appointment for genius bar, tech guy seemed to know his stuff but this issue was unknown to him. they agreed to give me a knew phone, eventually told me on day to when i returned that they had exhausted everything and that it was a pc software issue. possibly i should think about getting a mac or using another laptop! they also said that iphone works fine on mac but that there are som many versions of windows that it was difficult to keep up.
handing out replacement iphones and tech guys not know that there is a problem with windows 7 surely isn't good for business
apple support... can you address this problem asap please. i have restricted use and would like to get the full benefit of using my iphone 4

Tecra sound card driver will not install "driver was not installed" message

I have a Tecra 9100,running XP pro with s/p 2 and when I try to install the Yamaha AC-XG sound driver it will unzip the files then looks like he's loading the files thru InstallShied, but then a error message comes up "driver was not installed" I have tried several different ways but no success,any help would be greatly appreciated.

When referring office 7 do you mean office 2007?
For update issue, windowsupdate.log will give us some clue.
But I think the file is corrupt since you cannot uninstall or reinstall it. Kb 928218 may help us here:

Delete the app in iTunes, when prompted, move all files to trash, empty your trash. You can re-download purchased apps for free. Re-download it and try again.

Apps not installing due to not Authorized

I've had an Ipod touch for 1 month. Already onto my second due to the white screen of doom.
Got new one back and updated to 2.0 from 1.5. Tried to sync 1 app and get this error.
"The application <app name> was not installed on the iPod "Ipod Name" because you are not authorized for it on this computer"
Now this is the only computer its seen - this is the same computer I got the apps and the same computer I spent £5.99 paying for the update with. So far apple kit is super flaky and the helpful 5 R's is just stupid. Now starting to look at the receipt to spend it back.

I have seen the same message in iTunes for some purchased music and all I had to do was authorize my computer and message went away.
Once because I had changed my login due to a new email address I changed it on the apple site but forgot to change it in iTunes.
Another time iTunes just forgot that I was Authorized to do such things and I needed to remind it.

Unless you have an iOS device, you need to download it from the Mac App Store(or install it from an iLife DVD or the computer's original disks if the computer's running 10.6.8 or earlier) and not the iTunes App Store.

BIOS not installed? Devices not Found?

Pentium 4 3.0GHZ
Kingston 2x512 Dual channel
420 Watt power supply
80 Gig maxtor Hardrive
When the system boot up I get a message stating:
Devices not found
BIOS not installed
I have no problem getting into the BIOS settings and making changes except the ratio for the CPU is Locked which I also can seem to unlock.
Other then that my system runs fine and Windows XP work.
I know the system is running at 200x15 because the Core Center.
Any ideas about the BIOS or the LOCKED issue.

Itunes 7 upgrade will not install. Do not have privileges to modify file.

I have been having problems with itunes in that when I open itunes and then close it, my volume is no longer available. So I have been trying to install an updated version of 7.1 but when I try to install it says I do not have permission to modify file. I look at the files that the error code says and they are read-only files. I uncheck the read-only but the file will not STAY as read only and seems to default to read-only.

Let me know if any of that helps. If not, I am sure I can do some more digging.
Also, do you have an other users/accounts in XP? If so, you may want to try the update in that user. If not, try creating a new user (with admin abilities) and doing the update.

ITunes will not install (says "Quicktime not available")..., Please HELP!!!

If anyone can help w\this, please respond. My ITunes crashed a couple of mnths ago and I've been tryin to reinstall ever since w\out any success and am getting very frustrated. It will install onto my computer and my desktop (shows that it and Quicktime were both installed successfully), but when I try to access iTunes it tells me "Quicktime is required and unavailable", but when I access Quicktime, it comes up just fine????!!! What am I doing wrong?? What do I need to do to get iTunes back in my system??? I've tried everything from installing them together to installing them seperatly and also "saving" to computer and installing manually. Please help, if anyone can.
