Itunes will not load a folder of music
I have "My Music" folder with close to 7,000 mp3s in it. Upon selecting this and then clicking "skip for AAC conversion" Itunes will add tracks for about 30 seconds and then just close. No errors, or lockups, it just closes out, leaves the Itunes icon in my taskbar next to the windows clock and if I roll over that with my mouse it dissapears as well.
What's the solution to adding a large library to Itunes?
When you go to add a WMV music file it'll ask you if you want to convert it to AAC or just to skip the file. It has to do with Windows Media Player based files or not.

ITunes will not "see" specific folder in music folder
I am new to iPods and iTunes. I got an iPod classic as a gift yesterday so last night I installed iTunes and let it create a library overnight. I sync'd my iPod and all seemed well (~22GB in the library and on the iPod). I wanted to try the iPod so I turned it on and went to play "Hey there Delilah" by the Plain White T's which is in a folder along with all my other albums in mp3 format. It was not on the iPod. I checked iTunes and it was not there either. I tried to import the folder. Nothing happened. I tried to play the songs with iTunes from Explorer. Nothing. If I play in Windows Media Player it works. Any ideas? I have not determined if anything else is missing yet other than this single folder.

That is iTunes's way of telling you there is an incompatibility in the file. iTunes can be sensitive to corruption or variation in the headers, so it is not unusual to have an mp3 that plays fine in WMP but not in iTunes.
You will need to fix it up with a 3rd party program, or else use a conversion program to convert it to WAV and back to mp3 (which usually cleans it up). -

Quit the app and restart.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
i converted a heap of music using 'switch', now when i try and add this to library itunes will not load???

The ONLY caveat with it is: You CAN'T drag & drop files on it to open them. You MUST use the browse function to select them. If you drag and drop, it multiplies the output files. A 10 track album will produce 45 converted files. -
hi- i have tried to install the updated version of itunes- but i guess i deleted the "music folder" from my computer- and therefore itunes will not load- how can i put back "my music" folder- where should i put it- so that i can load itunes- thanks-
Next time you try to launch iTunes, do a "Choose library" as per the following document:

Now where "username" is the name of your XP User account, browse to:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
Can you see your library in there? If so, and you select it, does your normal iTunes library come up?

ITunes will not load certain mp3s into my library
all of the music i have has been tested as working mp3s both on and off the computer; i had a zune for about a year til a rainstorm destroyed it, and the song collection i have plays just as well through winamp/zune/wmp as it did on the zune. however, itunes will not load songs into the library and doesn't give any sort of error or message about it. my primary example is the three bloodhound gang albums i have, only one (one fierce beer coaster) will load in itunes whereas the others (hefty fine and hooray for boobies) don't show up, regardless of adding songs individually, adding folders, or drag+dropping from explorer. any ideas why itunes is hatin on my music?
i can't seem to find a "itunes music library.itms" file, or indeed any .itms file in the program files folder for itunes. currently there is no music in my itunes library; i removed it all to try directly dragging files from explorer to the music section of my ipod, which still results in files not loading/synching. after it finishes i'll put files into the library and see if it creates such a file

Itunes will not load all photos
Suddenly, my Ipad 3 will not load all of the photos that are in a folder onto the iPad into an album. I have a folder of 58 images and iTunes recognizes that. When I sync to add the images, itunes loads only 53 of them. I have repeatedly attempted to sync and it keeps loading the 53 images. I took the 5 images from the folder and put them in a new folder and Itunes will not load them. These images are JPEG's and are not any larger of a file than the ones that did load. I have even restored my Ipad and it still only will load the 53 images.
I had this same problem the other day where out of 96 images, it would only load 76. I have plenty of HD space available. I am at my wits end. All software is up to date now and still same issues so not sure what the problem is. I've deleted the iPod Cache folders, have a fresh install of ITunes and still no luck. HELP!You removed the cache from iPhoto - correct?

i have read all the forums, and nothing is working for the technical help that I need, itunes will not load or work and no matter what help I am trying to seek, nothing is working. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, everything that people are advising but nothing seems to work. Basically each time I try to click on itunes to load, the timer appears but nothing else. I believe the files need to be in MPEG-4 format. Or that is what I am converting my movies in and it works fine.
Movies you download off of iTunes are in M4V format, which is probably Apples MPEG-4 format name. -
i have an ipod touch 5th gen. i first loaded itunes on a windows 7 64 bit machine. i then got a new windows 8 64 bit machine but itunes will not load on it. i keep getting 2503 & 2502 errors. some apple software loaded, but it will not let me uninstall it from the machine. any thoughts, about how to get itunes to run on my machine?

Checked the network speed and it is between 0 and 1 ms response. This problem just started last week. Only new software introduced recently was update to Norton 360.

My Itunes will not load from my external harddrive. worked fine a few days ago.
I do not have any exclamation points - missing songs do not show at all. I had to click 'locate files' when I opened iTunes after reorganizing, since there was nothing there anymore
