Itunes will not login on ATV- checked multiple times

ran the new update for apple tv then logged out of itunes thru apple tv and now the system will NOT recognize my login info. I've tried multiple times and reset system. I've entered my user/pass just how it reads on itunes, apple account, etc. (case sensetive). Any suggestions? Thanks

So if you restart computer & ATV, then at iTunes at computer you don't see ATV?
I fooled myself the other day with my old ATV by clicking on 'connect to iTunes'.
The code come up on the Tv screen, and I just expected to see a spot to enter the code on the computer, but I was already connected.
And you will see ATV at iTunes.
But I may have scrolled past the menu on iTunes left panel hiding it.
This may not be your issue from the details you have.

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. Head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (Although the procedure is for Vista and 7 and you've got XP, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

Step 1 of download is ok. Step 2 will not engage, I've tried multiple times

I can easily download Step 1. However, step 2, dragging the icon into applications never happens. I've tried for months, and am still on version 3 something.

I dont know what it's problem is but im getting sick of it.
iTunes will not open no matter how many times I click it. I get the little circle loading icon for about 1 second then nothing happens.
I have uninstalled and re-instaled and it's still the same.
I have rebooted my laptop a thousand times and it's still the same.
I have uninstalled EVERYTHING apple related and reinstalled... guess what, still the same.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? -- Did they manage to overcome it?
Normally I wouldnt care but because its Apple, everything goes through iTunes so when it doesnt want to work -- Nothing else will work.

Forget the pad for a moment and just think about I tunes on your computer. Every now and then( 3 times over 6 years) when doing an I tunes upgrade, I tunes seems to lose track of some of my music files. They show up in the I tunes listing, but when you try to play, it cannot find the source. The cause is always that I have somehow moved some or all of the music to a library that is outside of the set of libraries I have dragged into I tunes.
On your computer, search for one of the songs. All the missing ones are probably together, and when you find one, you will find the rest. When you find it, note the directory and file path to where it lives, then add that path to your I tunes

Note, the original listing will still be in I tunes, so you will get double listings for theses songs, and no easy way to tell which is the valid ane and which is not, other than the ! Symbol when it cannot find the file. I know of no good way to get rid of the duplicate listing except manually going through and deleting them.
One you get them back into your I tunes library, they will sync and play fine.
Second side effect, if you are streaming to atv, and it comes accross one of those entries that leads nowhere, it simply stops streaming, and you have to restart the play.

If you're really using iTunes 7.0 you are very far behind the current version - maybe it is trying to connect to a decomissioned server. In fact I am kind of surprised it will run on a Macbook Air. Are you sure you are running iTunes 7?

ITunes will not sync my pictures or all of my apps. Everything else syncs just fine when the box is checked.

iTunes will not sync my pictures to my iPhone 4, nor will it sync all of my apps. Only a portion of my applications sync to the phone, even though all are checked in iTunes. I have never had this issue in the past with syncing any of my items to the phone. Problem has been ongoing now for a little over a month. All video, music and movies have synced just fine. I have the same problem since getting iTunes 9. However, I think mine has to do with the fact that the apps that won't sync were purchased with a different iTunes account. Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with Home Sharing in iTunes. I recommend the following steps for the issue you described:
4. Check your network connection
Home Sharing requires a home network with an active Internet connection. All the devices you want to use with Home Sharing need to be connected to your home network.
In addition, verify that:
All your devices are connected to the same router, if you have multiple routers. Using multiple routers may prevent discovery between these devices.
Your devices are not using a Virtual Private Network (VPN), or that they are all on the same VPN. A VPN may isolate the device and cause connectivity disruptions.
If you have a router set up with a guest network, make sure all devices are either connected to the guest network and devices on the guest network are allowed to communicate with each other, or switch all devices to the primary network on your router.
If your computer is asleep or shutdown, or iTunes is closed, there's no access to the shared iTunes library. Wake up or start the computer and open iTunes to regain access to that library.
Your router needs to be up-to-date. If you are using an AirPort or Time Capsule, read this article to find out more about firmware updates. If you are using a router from another manufacturer, contact the manufacturer to inquire about available updates.
5. Check Firewall Settings
If you have a firewall enabled in your router or computer, make sure that the firewall is not blocking communication between your computers. Home Sharing uses TCP port 3689 and UDP port 5353 to communicate with shared iTunes libraries.In addition, Apple TV and Mac computers will use port 123 to set the time automatically. Incorrect date and time on either the computer or Apple TV can cause errors for Home Sharing and connections in general.If you are unsure whether your router has a firewall or the required ports open, test additional devices or another network to help isolate the issue. 6. Quit and reopen apps and iTunes
If connectivity issues persist, quit and reopen iTunes on your computer. Then, quit and reopen the apps on your iOS device.

Restart your home network router using the method recommended in documentation from the manufacturer. This may include disconnecting the power cord for thirty seconds or more.
