Itunes will not open with Yosemite update!!!

After updating my Macbook pro to Yosemite, I have not been able to open iTunes. I have restarted the macbook and plugged my iPhone in and no matter what iTunes will not open!!!

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

iTunes will not open with iOS 7 update

My sister is having the same issue on iPhone 4. iTunes only loads the menu buttons at the bottom of the app with no content. I'm going to have her try the reset settings.
I will add that iTunes on my iMac seems to require a cookie from Safari to keep you logged in. I've never seen the same requirement on the phone but iBond's solution will work if you ever have an issue with iTunes log in on your computer.

  • ITunes will not open after (12) update!!!!!!!

Just updated iTunes to (12) and now it will not open. Two messages. The procedure entry point ADAdPolicyEngine_DidEnterStation could not be located in the dynamic link library iAdCore.dll. and then iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 127)
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall DID NOT WORK. Tried to remove the file iAdCore.dll. from iTunes in the program files and again DID NOT WORK! I have lost my entire library and now cannot even open iTunes just because I did the update. Please help.
    Win XP SP3 32bit

i had almost same issue on Windows RT 8.1
i tried to uninstall and reintsall as apple says THOUSAND TIMES but, did not work at all !
i sorted out myself issues they are ,
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple folder &
    C:\ProgramData\Apple &
    C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer    cannot be deleted
thats why i recieved "Error 7 (Windows Error XXX)" even though apple says its because netframework or Corrupt download or incomplete installation of iTunes software
so i moved undeletable folders with all subfolders to desktop and run installation of  itunes12.0.1.26
all solved my problems of installing itunes, now i have to find a way to delete the files on the desktop .

  • Itunes will not open with no error, been through support advice please

iTunes does not open and there is no error. I've been through all the steps with support over phone. Had my issue escalated to an engineer and still the problem exists. Anyone know of where i can find service to come to my household and fix it that way.

I click on the iTunes store button and it comes up with the loading bar at the top of the screen where the song time marker would be, but nothing ever happens. It just loads and loads and loads, I don't even get an error message...
With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:
Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

  • Apature will not open with Yosemite, and no update in uk app store

Has anyone any idea when an update to apature will be available for yosemite

I bought Aperture when it was still delivered on CD's. Hundred2one, your workaround works, it's downloading now. After it downloads I should open it and throw out the Aperture which is in the trash, is that correct?
Also, this may be of interest; I inherited my mother's iMac about a year ago. I installed a clone of my system into that machine, and have been using it casually in another location. On that machine I had already upgraded thru the whole cycle of 10.10.1 to 10.10.3. I was able to update Aperture at 10.10.1. By the time I got to 10.10.3 there was no problem.
That means that it didn't matter then that I didn't purchase Aperture at the AppStore. I'm not sure what it means exactly but maybe there is some clue for other Aperture users to find another way.

  • ITunes will not open (with or without nano connected)

Please help me, I'm a newbie...
The root of the problem was my computer "not being auterised to play music" (even though it was), that I'd purchased via a £15 music card, when using the help suggestions on here, I fixed THAT problem but unfortunately it created a new one: "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close"
Using many different help suggestions on here, I have now done the following:
    - Upgraded iTunes and Quicktime to their latest versions (that had no effect)
    - Deleted the following folder: c:\Documents and Setting\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\SC Info (after upgrading), no effect.
    - I deleted and re-installed both iTunes and Quicktime (also, not effect)
    - Tried istalling free (AVG) anti-spyware, running system scan and "disposing of" problems...
These were all suggestions I found on here but I still cannot open iTunes..
I've been listening to the same 90 tracks on random/repeat for over a month now and am going a bit mad..!
    Please help me!
    Thanks
PS I have Norton 2007 if that's of use..

    Hi macnfries,
Have you tried deleting all iTunesSetup.exe installers off your computer, and then downloading the latest version of iTunes (version 7.2.0.35, as opposed to 7.2.0.34)?
Go to this page to downlad the latest version of iTunes:
    Download iTunes - 7.2.0.35
    Any success with that?

  • Please help? Itunes will not open with Windows 7.

I have tried everything in the posts, etc and still can't get it to work. Any ideas? I'm not the most computer literate person so need pretty simple instructions.

    1. Right mouse click the iTunes icon and select 'Run as Administrator'
    Does it work now?
    2. If not, check if this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
    Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?
If that works, to prevent having to do the same process everytime you restart Windows, go to. START button, type in
    MSCONFIG
    Hit ENTER
Click STARTUP Tab, Uncheck "Apple Push", click OK.
    Restart Windows.
    3. If that fails or you donot see ApsDaemon.exe file in task manager, refer to following article to remove SC files:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2363
    4.  If that fails, repair your Quicktime.  START / CONTROL PANEL / PROGRAMS N FEATURES / hightlight QUICKTIME and click REPAIR.

  • ITunes will not open (MBP Yosemite 10.10.3)

    Hi all.
I have a MacBook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.3 and I suddenly (as of tonight) cannot open the iTunes app. Tried opening from the Dock and the App folder. Tried restarting and resetting PRAM. Still nothing. When I click on the icon absolutely nothing happens.
    Thanks for all help.
    PM

Got the same issue, tried reinstalling but nope.
The only (boring) way I found to open iTunes, is:
    Go the Application folder
Right click on iTunes icon and then select "Show Package Contents"
Go to Contents->MacOS and then launch iTunes executable
In this way, I managed getting iTunes up and running, but if I connect my iPod Classic, it isn't recognized and I can't sync it anymore.
N.B. This only happened after upgrading to Yosemite 10.10.3 and to the latest release of iTunes.
    Quite boring issue.

  • Itunes will not open on win 7 pc after oct update?

I am running a win7 pc-64bit os and itunes will not open since I updated it in Oct. I have attempted uninstalling and reinstalling the itunes s/w several times. I have tried without a firewall and with anti-virus programs disconnected. I do not get an error message. Itunes launches with a blank screen and the busy "spinner" spins until I reboot. Anybody with a similar problem or a solu

I don't know if this will help you  but I just went through this. After three weeks of thinking it was my firewall and making all the adjustments suggested by apple, I discovered it was my Net Nanny software that was blocking my way. I had one character wrong in the accepted lists on websites and so it looked right to me when I checked. It wasn't until I completely uninstalled the software and reinstalled, and re-entered all my lists that I realized the error. Now it is working great. So you may want to check your list of approved websites VERY carefully or re-enter them on you firewall software or any content blocking software you may have.
    Hope that helps.

  • ITunes will not open on my iPhone with the new update 10/18/13

iTunes will not open on my iPhone after the new update 10/18/13. It opens on my iPad that also has the new update; just not my iPhone.

OK, so what troubleshooting steps have you taken?  Have you taken the ones recommended in the User Guide?  Exactly what HAVE you done thus far to help solve your problem?

  • After installing the OS 10.10.3 update iTunes will not open.  Re-downloading iTunes and re-installing did not help.

After downloading and installing OS 10.10.3 iTunes will not open.  Spotlight does not find it.  I have repaired permissions, re-downloaded iTunes, and re-installed it.  The problem remains.  ITunes appears in the directory of Applications, the update shown in the info in Finder.  Double clicking does not open it.

    Hi Cchoe,
I see that you are experiencing an issue with iTunes after an update. It sounds like this issue could be related to third-party software interactions with iTunes. Here is an article that will help you troubleshoot:
