Itunes will not transfer downloaded iMovie from iPad, although the PC is an authorized device. How do I overcome this?
I just set-up family share.
I downloaded iMovie on my daughter's iPad Mini.
After trying to sync the iPad Mini with our home PC.
An error message appears that says the PC is not authorized and go to itunes store and authorize.
When I do the computer says's it is already authorized.
How do I get the iMovie app synced to it can be added to my iPad? and
Is this a bug in Family Share?

I had to restore my computer just to get itunes working on my new computer, and while i did this, I lost over 300 songs that i had purchased from itunes. Some songs were from my moms account, and some were from mine. but it says only 300 and something songs were on her account and i KNOW for a **** fact that i had 1252 songs on her account for me alone. And when i go to transfer purchases from my phone to my computer it will not transfer. Please fix this or else i will never use itunes again and i will bash this companys name. Never in my life have i had such a **** experiance with this company. you should be ashamed of all of these problems. We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
You should be able to copy them back onto your computer from your backup of your library that you've been keeping. Both accounts are authorised on your computer's iTunes and the music was purchased from iTunes, and File > Devices > Transfer Purchases doesn't copy them ? That won't copy music bought from other sources and/or copied from CDs.
Depending upon what country that you are in and if they are still in your country's store, then you might be able to redownload your purchases on your computer via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the store home page on your computer's iTunes, though redownloading an account's purchases may tie the computer to that account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 -

This is on my ipad, they are both expired
and this is on my computer... i rented this last year.When the app is downloaded it will expand as all app downloads do. You are downloading a "compressed installer" in a manner of speaking. When the app expands it will be larger than the space that you have left on the device.

How do I deauthorize the laptop when the original image and itunes is gone?
If you've reached five authorizations for your iTunes Store account, there will be a button in your Store account information that will allow you to deauthorize all systems associated with that account. Log into your Store account and you should see it. You can then reauthorize the computers you're using now.

Started a Itunes software update this morning which didn't work. Now Itunes will not open at all. I get the following message."The program can't state becasue MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer."
There are a couple of options that I know of to fix the issue.
One is listed in this thread - https://discussions.apple.com/message/24606478#24606478 - and involves uninstalling iTunes and related components and then re-installing iTunes. You will need to read the instructions in the thread to see the correct uninstall order.
Second option is use System Restore to set your system back to a date prior to the iTunes update. I did this before finding the thread mentioned above.
Not sure exactly what the problem is but I know, after a search, that MSVCR80.dll was indeed already installed on my computer.

When I try to sync photos to my iPod (80gb video Ipod) it gives me the error "The iPod cannot by synced. The required file cannot be found." Does anyone know what file this is and why it cannot find it? However, when switching to a new MacBook Pro, I observed what happened and found out the root of the problem.
When you tell iTunes to sync your iPod with your iPhoto Library, it creates a folder called "iPod Photo Cache" at >User>Pictures>iPhoto Library, which depending on the size of your iPhoto library, or how many pics you want to sync with iTunes, it can be huge! (1,600+ pics created a 1Gb+ folder).
The solution is obvious: just delete that folder and let these applications create a new one next time you instruct iTunes to sync your photos. To be sure, next time you open iTunes after you throw away that folder, uncheck the iPhoto option, close iTunes, make sure the folder is gone, and then, when you open iTunes again with your iPod connected, check it again having made sure that the pesky folder is not there and iTunes (or iPhoto, who knows) will create a fresh one.
By the way, iPod Photo Cache folders are created all over the place! Do a Spotlight search in your hard drive and you will be amazed about how many you will find!

How do I sync my iPhone 5 to my new PC? iTunes will not recognize it even when plugged in the USB port. Settings>General>iTunes wifi sync is still my old laptop. Any help is appreciated.

My MacBook Pro does not recognize my Android Incrdible 2 cell phone and therefore I can not transfer any photos from my cell phone to my Mac. I was able to do this in the past, but can not do so now. I have not upgraded to any new software. My USB cable is plugged in properly and I just get an error message -- "No Android Device Found". What could be the problem?
I had the same issue with the Galaxy S4 trying to see what the hype was about and was my first and last android phone. With that being said unfortunately it is a hit or miss with the Mac recognizing an android device or not. It worked perfectly fine the first time around and then it stopped working for no apparent reason. Through trial and error nothing I did solved the issue. I did however plug it in my Mac and left it connected for about 30-40 min to charge for a bit and all of the sudden it recognizes the phone. So I just launched Android File Transfer and everything else became fluid after that. I have no explanation as to why it happened that way, but what I gathered from this is maybe you just have to let it sit for a minute while plugged in before the Mac recognizes it, after all they are opposing software. On a side note this is why I will always be an apple user, Iphones and the like never have this problem

Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".

I Have iTunes since 2008. I have changed computers and I know have old libraries in my Hard Disk but iTunes do not locate a lot of songs when I try to play it. How can I correct this situation?
When iTunes say that try to find the file you want iTunes to play in your iTunes > Media folder. If iTunes offers to find others, let it. If it does not find them all you will have to find them yourself or re-add the files from your drive to iTunes (use Automatically Add to iTunes folder).
