Itunes will open but Itunes store won't. Tells me there is no internet connection and yet I am able to write this question on your site! Can anyone help, as I can't update Ipod without it?

So I recently got a 13" MacBook Pro in August and this weekend I've started to have problems with it. On Friday night, my safari just stopped loading the pages. It would try for a couple if minutes and then stop and give me the message that I said above. From the menu bar, select

Catalog side will open but Edit side will not after install (twice)
Installed PSE 12 on a new computer (twice). Installed fine but after activation only the catalog side will open. When I try to open the Edit side It keeps asking me to sign in repeatedly, but doesn't open. Appreciate any help. Live chat told me to go to this site.
Some systems have an issue with itunes after restoring the PC (Especailly HP Models) so goto the PC makers site and look for itunes patches for this that fix it.
Scan the system for adware with ewido http://www.ewido.com

Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to performunauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart.
Avoid using an older or modified .ipsw file. Try moving the current .ipsw file (see Advanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations), or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw.

The phone is not stolen but it does not work out side of the house
if it doesnt match that means your iPhone is not provisioned for the carrier you are trying to use. Your iPhone would need to be unlocked in order to use on other carriers. You will need to contact your carrier to see if this iPhone is unlocked py providing them the IMEI. If the iPhone is not unlocked you will need to contact the carrier that the iPhone is locked to to see if they will unlock the device to use on another carrier.

My iTunes opens and plays music but the store will not work
I can't get my itunes store to work. The application for itunes will open but it won't show anything and says "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. I have a laptop that itunes will open but never accesses the store. I have verified that there are no viruses and the internet connection is excelent. I have been through several of the troubleshooting tips on the web sitebut no luck. So I cannot deautherize that laptop since I am at my limit of 5 computers under one account which I think is crap since 2 of the computers died and I can never deautherize them ever!

After downloading the latest version of iTunes, the store will not load. It appears as if it has loaded, but the screen remains blank.
I have the same problem and have been fighting with it for several days. I think the last thing that I did before this happened was to let Quicktime update itself. When I open itunes and click on store, the connecting bar gets halfway and then stops. That leaves me with the white store page, if I leave it alone for a bit, I see words as in names of singers and but no pictures.
I have ran the diagnostics and see no problems at all, no event logs in windows, no errors at all. I've un-installed itunes and re-installed but no change. I'm using Norton 360 from comcast. I have windows 7 pro 64 bit. Also, the help in itunes doesn't display.
I put in a ticket with apple and the response I got back basically told me to do what I've already done. I created a new user and have the same issue.
Any help at all will be very much appreciated. I think this started August. 8, 2011.

i think i might have a solution... i have windows vista and after i installed to latest itunes update everytime i tried to open it it would freeze. I tried everything, including uninstalling itunes and all of its components and reinstalled it numerous times. So i went to the itunes folder in my folders, not on itunes, and i deleted my itunes library and playlists. After that it worked just fine, all of my music was deleted but luckily i had my files saved elsewhere.

Ever since I downloaded the new Firefox, when I right-click on a link to open it in a different tab, the tab will open but will not load anything, no matter what link I try. The tab will show the website destination in the navigation bar, but will not automatically load it; I have to press the load button in the navigation bar instead of it instantly loading.

Since upgrading to Mavericks my iMac no longer recognizes my digital camera. iPhoto will open, but my camera never appears in the source list or goes into import mode. Help!
I found that if you open iMage Capture App that seems to trigger iPhoto to open and thew camera is connected. At least that happens with my camera. Good luck.

After installing Mavericks, I found that my Apple Apps (iBooks, App Store, Maps, iCalendar, iBooks, etc) will open but freeze or are none responsive. I have reinstalled Mavericks, did a recovery and reinstall, almost everything that I could find in other discussions. They only thing that helped was the recovery, until I tried to reinstall Mavericks. Someone please help.....
OS X Recovery does restore OS X meaning Mavericks.
Make sure there's enough storage space ...
Click your Apple menu top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac > More Info > Storage
You'll see Available and Capacity. Make sure there's at least 15% available disk space.
The startup disk may need repairing ...
Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utillities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If DU reports errors, restart your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys. From there you should be able to access the built in utilities in OS X Recovery to repair the startup disk.
Make sure to back up all important files first before using OS X Recovery.
OS X Recovery does require a broadband high speed internet connection. -
When I right click to open in new tab, the new tab will open but the page is blank. I have tried it in Firefox Safe Mode & with Add Ons Disabled, still doesn't work.
