ITunes will quit working mid-song and will skip around entire library.
In the most recent iTunes version running on windows 7, iTunes will not play through an entire song and skips around the entire library of music. Sometimes only the first few seconds of a song will play, and sometimes a little over a minute will play before it starts skipping around. iTunes has been uninstalled and reinstalled, and all the drivers have been uninstalled and reinstalled, and the computer is fully updated. This issue doesn't happen consistently or for any particular songs, and is very frustrating because it seems so random. All the music files used to work just fine, and no settings have been changed since it worked. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated!
The simplest way to remove the song is to remove it from the Up Next list.
Click on the Up Next icon and when you hover the cursor over the song, you will see an X appear to the left of the song. Click on the X to remove it.

In general LTE will only work in the world region the device was designed for. And for it to work correctly all of the bands for your region must be supported by the device.
So assume that a North American iPhone will not work on LTE in Ireland, and decide if it is worth the difference in cost. Remembering that the prices you see advertised in the US are subsidized prices, and an unlocked phone costs much more than that. For example, a 5S 16 GB is $649, a 32 GB is $749, and a 64 GB is $849. To this you must add sales tax, typically 8% to 10% depending on where you buy in (NYC is 8.75%).
Then once you get it back to Ireland you must pay import duty and VAT, unless you smuggle it in. If you get caught smuggling it there will be a penalty on top of the duty and VAT, and they may even seize the phone. I have no idea what the chance of getting caught is, but if I were a customs inspector I would watch for things like that.
And finally, once you have it safely in Ireland if it ever needs service you will have to bring it back to the US. -

It sounds like you are unable to play a couple of songs from your library becuase you get a message that the computer is unauthorized to play, but other content purchased that same day works without issue. I would verify that the affected songs were purchased with the same Apple ID first:

Open iTunes
Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
Choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab.
The Account Name area will list the account used to purchase the item. Unless you have changed accounts, this is your iTunes Store account name.
If so, then delete the songs:

I am very disappointed with iTunes. I have 1200 songs and I can’t play them. I try to play them and before one song finisha song starts playing. This then results in hearing two songs at the same time.I will like to know if you can fix this. I feel like listening with the iTunesplayer is useless.

I downloaded the latest version of itunes and now my ipod nano won't sync. The sync process appears to lock up on the 2nd song and will not continue to sync. I let it run all night the first time and it never went past the 2nd song. I unchecked the 2nd song so a different song would be 2nd, no benefit; reset my ipod nano; shut down laptop and restarted a different time; shorted the number of songs to sync; all without benefit.
When you connect your ipod up to the computer. It should show the device, usually with the name of the device, in my case 'jordan's ipod'. This should be on the row which shows 'songs', 'albums' e.t.c on the far right. There when you click on it it should go to a different screen showing a picture of your ipod along with two buttons - Update and Restore. Click update and it should take a 2 mins while your ipod is updated to the latest version of Ios.
After updating te ipod see if there is a change in results.
PS: make sure the device is active while syncing so keep tapping the screen.

I had a hard disc failure and had to reload Design suite 6 from disc. The program is now telling me I have 7 days to register the product or it will quit working. The serial number is already registered. It won't connect to the adobe site from the popup screen that comes up telling me I only have 7 days to register. What do I do?
Go to the Help menu in Photoshop and choose Activate. It should open a wizard allowing you to do this.
If that fails, Contact Customer Care after clicking on one of the activation links. The more information you give them, the easier it will be for them to help you.

Will I lose my songs and pictures if i upgrade my iphone to the 5.0 version if the computer i am going to do it on is not the original computer i had itunes on, my old computer died!
You can back up your Iphone in Itunes on any computer. Then restore after the upgrade if it was erased. iTunes has an option to even pick which backup file you want to use. I believe its pressing the alt key holding it and pressing restore. I did it on a windows pc so might be different. for a big update, apple iOS's are generally good with keeping files, but its always a good idea to back up your device. I just upgraded my MBP to Lion and didnt loose anything.

This may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow Troubleshooting security software issues, and restore your device on a different known-good computer. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service. -
Hi, I'm pretty new to itunes. I bought a song and it downloaded, but will only play the first 3 seconds? Any idea how I get it to play the rest of the tune?
I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.) -
Why do I keep getting the message that iTunes is quitting working? I have reinstalled iTunes and I have checked the wifi twice. I have even put the internet access cable directly into the laptop. The message says that windows will look for a solution but never offers any solution.
Try disconnect your internet, then launch iTunes.
Connect your device, then reconnect your internet.

I download a song & then I try to drag it into a playlist & I get a warning "iCloud playlists can only contain songs from your iCloud music library. If you continue, my iPod will be removed from iCloud and will only be available on this computer."
I'm sorry to see that no one has answered this. I'm hoping Apple with reply to my support request, as I'm having the same issue. I really don't want to continue with iCloud at this point.

You can create another Apple ID for yourself. The songs and Apps you bought will remain on your device. Whenever there will be an update to an App bought with your mum's Apple ID though, you will be prompted to enter her Apple ID and its password.
Same thing with the songs. If you delete them at anytime, a re-download will require her Apple ID and its password.
Apart from that, don't worry about creating a new Apple ID, you can have several different Apple IDs... just don't mess them up.
