ITunes window size

How do I reduce the size of the iTunes window.  It covers the entire screen of my iMac and there are no corners to make size adjustments.

Move the pointer near the upper left corner of the screen.  Tap the green circle that appears.

  • Windows vista home premium iTunes window size doesn't fit properly

    I am using windows vista home premium. In iTunes when I maximize the iTunes window, it doesn't fit the screen, it is a little too big and I cannot see the side scroll bar. To fix it, I have to restore the window, manually modify the size and the maximize it. Is there a fix to this? Or is an unknown little bug?

    Have you checked the HP Website and Microsoft Support websites to see if they have any solutions to your problem? Since there could be multiple things causing this, I would check at the places I mentioned first and see if their knowledge base contains an answer.

    make the curser go right up to the top of the screen and it will show the apple tab
    it will have two arrows facing together highlited in blue
    if u tap that it will take you to the normal tab

  • ITunes 11.0.1 window size issue

    The window size on my copy of iTunes 11.0.1 has stretched beyond the bottom of the screen.  I am no longer able to resize the window except in width.  This came about when I lowered the window until only the top of the menu bar was exposed at the bottom of my screen.  I did not bring iTunes back up for a few days during which time I had watched a few movies on my Apple TV.
    When I brought it back up, the lower edge of the iTunes window stretched below the bottom of my display (Samsung 24 inch 1900x1280).  I have shut down my system and brought it all back up.  When I restart iTunes, the window size problem remains.  Even when I maximize the window, the bottom is still below the edge of the display.
    Any suggestions?
    Charlie

    Can you resize from the top down then drag the whole window up?

  • How to re-size itunes window in 11.2

    how to re-size itunes window in 11.2

    Javascript and then mess with these values to achieve the results you want.
    javascript:self.moveTo(100,100);self.resizeTo(1600,1000);
    javascript:self.moveTo(0,0);self.resizeTo(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight);
    Likely the bottom one will work, just change "screen.availWidth" to half your screen pixel width.
    javascript:self.moveTo(0,0);self.resizeTo(960,screen.availHeight);
    Then paste into your Safari address bar, then click and drag the small left icon to your toolbar and when it asks to rename, rename it accordingly.
    Now all you have to do is click the button it makes and your screen adjusts.

  • I want to restore default window size of iTunes.

    I'm quite obssessed with keeping default settings. So I never change size of window and of course keep using iTunes without changing its size of window.
    But today, the window size suddenly changed of itself - too small.
    I want to restore the size to what it used to be. (I'm not asking how to change the size)
    I tried deleting iTunes Library.itl, which works when it comes to the size, but is not desirable because I lost other data - such as Play list and play count etc.
    Are there any ways to restore the default window size of iTunes without deleting iTunes Library.itl?

    Did you ever figure this out? If so, please let me in on the secret!

  • ITunes window not aligning to screen size

    Ever since the update for iTunes my window is always larger, eather by width when its maximized or by hight when restore down. It requires me to restore down, then move the window so i can see the edges, then reduce the size of the window, then move the window so all of its edges are on the screen and finaly maximize to fit the iTunes window to the screen.
    Im running windows 7 @ 1920 by 1080 screen res. The prooblem started ever since the latest update, just wondering if this is because mac is now using the red eye or something screen which is i think just over the 1920x1080.

    You likely have Zoom on... double tap with three fingers to turn it off.   Go into Settings > General > Accessibility to disable it.

  • How can I make the window smaller so that I can adjust the size of my iTunes window from the bottom right-hand corner of the window?

    Had 1-to-1 service transfer files from Leopard to Lion and iTunes window now runs past the bottom of the screen. Your help will be greatly appreciated!

    Wow, thank you so much! Was driving me crazy.... And thanks for responding so quickly too.

  • How can I resize my iTunes window if it's stuck?

    Hi,
    Ever since I switched to the 15-inch Macbook Pro, my iTunes window doesn't fit in the actual screen and cuts off half way, showing only half of iTunes at a time. Because of this, I can't use the bottom-right corner to adjust it to the size I want and the dock keeps coming up when I get close to that area. It shrinks to regular size when I go on the full-screen mode, but as I'm usually multi-tasking this isn't feasible most of the time. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'd really appreciate help, as it's a bit annoying!
    Thank you in advance!

  • Dashboard and window sizes when connecting to LED display

    Hello,
    I just bought the LED display yesterday...gotta say thats its beautiful....i have one problem though....when i connected it to my macbook all the window sizes (e.g safari, itunes, dashboard) were too small....I tried modifying them...but now when i disconnect the display the window sizes on the macbook are too big and out of display....the resolution on the laptop is 1280X800 and on the screen its 1920X1200
    any way to fix this?
    Thanks

    My experience is that if you are connected to the larger display and then disconnect without restarting, then you will see the behaviour you are describing.
    If you restart the machine after disconnecting, the MB is smart enough to make everything fit within the native (and only available) resolution.
    Good luck!

  • Window Size Problem in Mountain Lion

    I have a MacBook Pro 13" I use with a Thunderbolt display in another location. When I return home the iTunes window is sized on the MBP screen the same size as it was on the Thunderbot Display. There is no way to reach the lower right corner of the iTunes window to resize it to fit the 13" screen. With the display not available to me I cannot just reattach the Thunderbolt Display and resize. I do not remember this beirng a problem in Lion.
    Any suggestions?

    On my screen the green button fits it exactly to the screen, but see the link I added. That Automator action lets you define the exact sizes.
    The example on the page is for Aperture; you need to change the script to
    on run {input, parameters}
              (* get the bounds of the Desktop *)
              tell application "Finder"
                        set {d1, d2, d3, d4} to (get bounds of window of desktop)
              end tell
              tell application "iTunes"
                        set margins to {d1 + 20, d2 + 54, d3 - 30, d4 - 30}
                        set bounds of window 1 to margins
              end tell
              return input
    end run
    -- This expression {d1 + 20, d2 + 54, d3 - 30, d4 - 30} defines the margins to be left around the iTunes window; adjust them to your needs

  • ITunes Libary Size?

    Hey everyone,
    I just have a simple question. My iTunes library size is around 23GB, this is what iTunes displays in the bottom of the program. However, when I go to my iTunes music folder. It says I have around 36GB of files. Is there something wrong, or are there hidden files in my iTunes music folder that are accounting for this huge difference of library size.
    Thanks for any answers.

    Hello Confuzzeled,
    It seems likely that you have more content in your iTunes Library than just music. The statistics you see at the bottom of the iTunes window only apply to the type of content you have selected under the Library header in the left column.
    In addition to your music, content such as Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Audiobooks, Apps, Ringtones and album artwork are all stored in the iTunes folder. I'm looking at 6GB of music on my own system, but I also have about 2GB of the other types of content, so my iTunes folder registers just over 8.6GB when I get info on it.
    Hope this helps,
    Charles

  • How can I downsize the itunes window if the bottom is outside the screen?

    I have imported the files from my old 17in. Mac Book Pro into a new 15in. one. In the old one the window occupied the whole screen, in the new one it still shows up as a 17 incher and the bottom part of the itunes window actually falls off the screen and cannot be pulled up. This prevents me from accessing the lower right corner to decrease the window size. Are there any other ways to achieve this ?

  • Window size/position

    The new iTunes wont remember window size and position. Every time I open it I have to maximize the window. Why wont the program let the user and not Apple set the window size??
