Itunes window so big i cant register my new ipod
I already have a nano and now i got the new 3rd generation (fat) nano videos and when i tunes loads up i cannot scroll over and down to the bottom right hand corner of my screen - tried pulling the window up so that i can make it wider but no dice........ the thing is i got it for my sisters b-day and i cant use the device if i cannot register it!!!
please help!
I remember having a similar problem,
I found that if you made the screen resolution smaller you can see the rest of the window.
I'm guessing your current resolution is 800 x 600 pixels
and if you change it to 1024 x 768 pixels the whole window should be visible
You can change the resolution by going into My Computer > Control Panel > Display > Settings
On the settings tab you should be able to see where you can change the resolution.
It takes a little while to get used to because everything is smaller, but if you really don't like it you can always change it back after you have registered.
Anyways hope this information is of some use.

I cant register my new iPod.
This is because I have no bottom scroll bar. My iTunes wont allw me to use my iPod without registering it and I cant register it beacause it only shows half the page. I click to register then when I get to the second page where all the regulations are, all I can do is click I agree. I cannot click the continue button because it is on the other side of the page and I cant get to it. I have been looking for a way to get a bottom scroll bar but so far I have come up with nothing. I have a brand new iPod I can't use. Very sad. If this helps its a third generation nano. If anyone knows what I should do please tell me.Make sure your screen resolution is 1024x768.

I just changed my residence to the US and now I cant register my new US credit card on itunes cause the state list doesnt match to the US states, what should I do?
Your credit card info, billing address must be the same country as the iTunes store country you registering.
For example, you can’t have a credit card from a U.S. bank with a U.S. billing address registered in the iTunes store for China.
I tried to change my payment information too, but it happened the same, I can change the information but when I get to the state part, it only shows the other country states
Remove all payment info and save it.
Then change the iTunes store country to U.S., add a U.S. credit card with a U.S. billing address.
As previously suggested, if this does not work, contact iTunes store support.

Workstations working in Windows 8.1 OS cant register to DNS with warning:
The system failed to register host (A or AAAA) resource records (RRs) for network adapter
with settings:

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

My 1st ipod was lost. My library is on a Dell with Windows. I registered my new ipod to a Mac. How can I get my library from Windows onto my new Ipod?
Thank you for your help. I am still having trouble. As you can tell, I am not technologically advanced AT ALL. My music is all showing up in the library but when I go to file in the top left corner, Sync is greyed out and I cannot select it. I'm gonna continue to try this. Can somebody please help me. I am trying to recover my aunts audio books that she has purchased. I have authorized her new computer and registered her new ipod. There is no option for audio books under purchased and itunes is telling me there are no available downloads. She has purchased several audio books in the last two years.
thank-you! yeah, i cant see going to 64. as it stood sound quality was dodgy. good on some stuff, great on others, and terrible on a few. i have some great news...my ipod is not showing up in itunes. again. i give up. it has music on it. its full to the tippy top. i fooled around with some of the things the trouble shooter wizard thing suggested last night for hours. didnt fix it. after awhile i was just going in circles. i will just live with the thing the way it is. but i will say one thing; after reading some of the posted issues other folks are having i'm just glad i didnt put everything in the cloud....peace

Registering a new Ipod Classic
In trying to register a new ipod classic, the itunes window does not allow you to see to the right to finish the process. No matter what I try, I cannot get to the rest of the window to go to the next step (which is filling in the id number of the ipod)

I can't get Window's Media Player to "recognize" my new ipod shuffle. Does anyone have a solution? When I pull the ipod shuffle up in Devices and Printers, it says it needs Troubleshooting, but the Troubleshooting provides no solution.
Windows Media Player? As far as I know, that won't work. You need to install iTunes

You wouldn't connect the iPod to the iPad for data transfers. Music is stored and shared either through a computer or iCloud.

Recently got a new iPod Touch 4th gen; I had previously backed up to iCloud and subscribed to iTunes Match, and then wound up syncing the new iPod to my MacBook Pro; all iCloud tunes were downloaded to Mac but won't all sync to the iPod after multiple attempts, despite all songs showing properly on the Mac and multiple syncs occurring after all songs were properly reflected on the Mac. I updated iTunes Match from the iTunes Store menu as well pre-sync.
I should mention that I had previously had the library on a Dell (which is still running) and shared it on my home network. While all iTunes purchases now show in the Dell, the Mac is the device I use for all syncs.
There appears to be no rhyme or reason to the iCloud physical sync failure - some songs were legacy, some were purchased via the PC, some on the old iPod.
The Mac shows all the songs correctly and none show iCloud status -all have been downloaded, but the downloaded songs that were previously showing up as iCloud based aren't syncing to the iPod.
Is there any way to force all music being seen by my iPod as iCloud to download to so I can listen to them offline? Is there a way to force the sync from iTunes?The "system" performed as designed. All devices syncing to one iCloud account are kept in common sync. The idea is that all such devices belong to one user. Different users should have different iCloud accounts. Once your contacts were edited, all devices were updated as well and subsequent backups (from yours and her device) reflected the changed contacts (and any other data that may have been edited like calendars). Your first task is to change your daughter over to a new account before she makes other changes.
The only way I see for getting back contacts is to restore them from a time machine backup, assuming you also have a Mac included in the account which syncs the contacts. However, I'm not sure whether time machine includes contacts from iCloud along with those that are local, "on my Mac".
Otherwise the deleted contacts are gone. -
I need to update my software in order to download the new version of iTunes in order to put songs on my new iPod. But my software doesn't need updating..or so my computer says. What should I do??
If your iMac has a PowerPC processor, Leopard OS 10.5.x is the max OS. If your iMac has an Intel processor, it can run Snow Leopard OS 10.6.x or possibly higher.
Once we know your iMac model, we can better recommend what OS X version.
