Itunes with adobe photo shop5.0

I am new to both products and want to know how to move a song or songs from itunes to a file so that i can xprot to adobe photo shop elements 5.0 and use with a slide show presentation.

Songs in iTunes are already separate files. The default location for them is in my My Documents -> My Music -> iTunes -> iTunes Music folder. You'll just have to make sure that they're in a format that your other software can accept. The iTunes default for importing CDs is AAC, so if you need them to be MP3 or WAV and you imported as AAC, you'll need to either reimport from CDs or convert the tracks (the setting is in the iTunes Advanced -> Importing preferences).
If these are tracks that were purchased from the iTunes Store, then unless they were iTunes Plus tracks which do not carry copy protection, then they cannot be used in any other application.

It should do but nobody can guarantee it 100%.
The best thing is to download the trial version and install that. When you install it, it should take a copy of your current catalog and then convert that copy to the new format. Your Photoshop Elements 9 should not be affected.
It is always a good idea to ensure that you have a backup of your catalog & photos when you start a major update like this. Take a backup using the Elements Backup to Hard drive option (under File menu) - best backed up to an external drive.
It is ok to have both version installed on your system but I suggest that you just use the version 12 to check out the catalog conversion to start with. If you are happy with that, you can always run the conversion at a later stage if you have updated the version 9 catalog. You can not convert the version 12 catalog back to a version 9 catalog.

IPod problem with Adobe Photo Downloader

Question; When I connect my iPod to my computer do download photos I get: Fatal Error, Adobe Photo Downloader has encountered a problem and needs to close. Code c0000005 Address 7c910a19. Initially it did work, but no longer does. Changes are only Windows automatic updates.

I have an older version of Elements, and in that the downloader always runs in the background when it is enabled via preferences. I found this to be annoying and, therefore, disabled this feature.
My workflow is:
I use a card reader to import pictures from camera card to an empty folder on the desktop
Next, I burn a CD before I do anything else. This is my "film" - can always go back to retrieve an accidentally deleted file.
Then, I delete the obviously poor pictures from the desktop folder - motion, unflattering pose, etc.
Finally, I manually import the "keepers" into organizer, tag them, etc.
You could adapt this scheme to import into the organizer only the pictures which meet the test for what you call "my picture collection", i.e. those pictures which have been enhanced .
In the older version of Elements, the organizer allows one to make a collection. I believe that it called something else in PEv.7, but it is still there. The advantage of this is that you can assemble a group of photos for a particular purpose, which you do. It also allows you to define the order of the photos in the collection by dragging them into position. Suggest that you consult the help file re same.

Help with Adobe Photo Downloader in PSE 7?

I do not allow PSE 7 to "see" pictures all over my hard drives; I have ONE watched folder called "my picture collection", in which are stored all of my "final copy" pictures, and these are the only pictures in "my catalog".
Since I am using Photoshop Elements to edit, and tag pictures, etc, I would like to use it to get photos from my Camera....however...
I want to import pictures from my camera, or scanner, to a different folder then my "watched folder", to a folder called "my Pictures F drive". I do this because these may be photos I DO NOT want in "My Catalog", such as today, pictures of the insides of an engine.
I can tell Adobe Photo Downloader NOT to open the Organizer after importing the pictures to whatever folder I wish, and organizer does not open; BUT, I am informed that the next time I open PSE 7, the Organizer will display these pictures, which it does. this is what I do NOT want; I don't want Organizer importing these pictues, and including them in "My Catalog" just because I used Photo Downloader to get them from my camera to a completely unrelated folder; NOT my "watched Folder". Is there any way of stopping Organizer from importing ALL photos handled by Photo Downloader?? If I want photos in "My Catalog", I move them into the "Watched Folder", and THEN I want Organizer to find them, and open them up for tagging etc (which it does). I can't find any way of doing this in "Preferences", or options in Photo Downloader. (The alternative would be to use a different program to get the pictures from the Camera, or scanner). Synching iPod with Adobe Photo Elements 4

I've been syncing my 60GB iPod with my PC via Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 since September and it has worked fine. I recently upgraded to Photoshop Elements 4.0, uninstalling Album in the process. iTunes no longer shows Album as a synchronising option in the Preferences dropdown (fair enough) but nor does it show Elements 4.0 as an option which I guess it should (it only shows 'My Pictures' or 'Choose a folder'). Anybody seen this problem before or know how I can get iTunes to recognise my Photoshop Elements catalogue? I've already re-installed iTunes and the Ipod software with no effect.

Ok, well, the solution is given in the thread of jackstone5, dated December 14. However if you are not familiar with regedit I can imagine that you are hesitating to perform this action. Maybe you can find someone in your environment who does. The solution is not too complicated for someone who is familiar with computers.
Of course it would be better that Apple solves this problem.
By the way, glad to hear that my other problem is not only my problem, as I could nowhere found someone having this problem other than people using Iphoto. Let's hope a solution is around ...

Syncing Photos with Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0

I have an iphone and a 160GB iPod classic. I have been syncing my photos from Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 to these devices. However, I recently upgraded to version 7 of Elements. I kept version 6 on my computer as well in case I needed to go back to it. So, my photo catalog for v7 is a different name. My question is how I point my iphone and ipod to sync with the new catalog and not the old one. And, does syncing photos between iTune and Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 even work yet?

This is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences, and the same for your iPod sync preferences.
Syncing with Elements 7 should work.

If they were put there via iTunes sync process, then simply untick the Music box before syncing again.

Not that I'm aware of. You just export JPEG copies to a folder that you can point iTunes to. For instance, I have created a folder in my Pictures folder called Apple TV. And within that folder I have other folders of pictures that I can choose from in iTunes to share with Apple TV. But there doesn't seem to be any way to share a Lightroom slideshow. If you have laid to create a video file that would probably work. Apple TV is a little clunky in my opinion. Some things are a little more difficult to do now than they were a while back. I probably haven't provided you with much help, but just keep experimenting and I think you will figure it out.

Syncing photos in iTunes with Apple TV and iPod Classic

Hi:
I recently purchased an Apple TV and every since I got it when I sync my iPod Classic and the Apple TV with iTunes, iTunes optimizes all my photos again (3000+ photos). In other words, every time I sync, iTunes optimizes my photos, deletes them and re-adds them again to the iPod and the Apple TV. Any idea why it may be doing this? I mean it’s ok, it’s just time consuming every time I do a sync. This never happened before unless I will add new photos and in that case iTunes will optimize and add just the new ones not all of them.

ITunes movies no longer sync from Dell laptop or MacBook Pros (both authorized devices) to iPhone 6s or iPad Air 2s after configured at Apple store yesterday. In the past I could see the movies in iTunes with the cover photo and sync.

In the past I could see the movies in iTunes with the cover photo and sync to the other devices but now there is a listing a movies with no cover photos and in fact if I try to view the movie on the MacBook Pro it cannot be found unless I download it.

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

What do you mean " back up my photos or Apps"?
The photo sync is one way - computer to ipad.
You can transfer itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

How create a carrosel photo gallery with Adobe Muse widgets?

I use Adobe Muse 3.2 build 2, and I need create a photo gallery with many photos (around 60) like a carrosel (with photos and thumbnails that slides both from left to right). There is some way to create or insert a widget of this kind in Muse? If possible, in which Muse version?
I wanted a solution that works inside of Muse, to not create a HTML page separated, with the gallery, and after embed it into the Muse.

It is currently not possible to create a functional carousel using the out-of-the-box features available in Muse. You will need to look online for third party code or a widget from a Muse widget developer for something like this.
