ITunes WLAN Sync out of date

With my iPhone4 I'm using iTunes Sync and Cloud Backup via WLAN to keep iPhone content and backup up to date, w/o the need to involve my PC. Mainly I'm using two different WLAN environements (home & office) which work without any issues regarding general internet access and data speed. iTunes (updated to latest version since 1-2 weeks) is hosted on a Win 7, 64bit, PC, checkboxes for Backup in Cloud and WLAN sync are set. But although my iPhone4 is connected to power and WLAN most of the time, the latest automatic iTunes WLAN Sync is dated from 2 months ago (for comparison: latest iCloud backup proceeded today) Manual iTunes Sync works. Any ideas how to get the automatic iTunes sync running?

I am having the same problem with refreshing, it keeps crediting my account with 1 song and in order to get rid of it I have to log into my account to update it will get rid of the song. The next time I log in the "1 song" comes back. I think it's on their end not ours.

    Sam..  I still got that message too. I went ahead and sync'd anyways.
    Make sure you have it all backed up... transfer your purchases to itunes (done in itunes).. then there is not much else you can do but hit the sync button.
    For me.. my thoughts were... I could probaby download any magazines again.. recreate any documents if I had to.. I have mostly business related stuff and art work I created from the drawing apps on my I pad.. purhaps not as big an investment as you.. however.. in the end.. I didn't lose anything. it all transfered for me to the new library..
    not much else I can say... I found a blog where another person was having the same issue...pretty much they recommended the same steps that I followed..
    here is another thread in at a different site you can look at too.. it seems like everyone is using the same process..they mention ipad in here too...

  • Itunes U sync out of order

    The iTunes U which I download are a series of lectures which should be listened to in order. However, when I sync with my iPhone, the lectures are out of order. Any ideas on how to correct this?

    I don't have a solution, but i have the exact same problem. No idea why apple can't fix this.

  • ITunes using old, out of date, Apple ID

    I'm trying to sync my iPone 5 to my iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011 running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1) and I keep getting this message:-
    "This computer is no longer authorized for apps that are installed on the iPhone “Iain’s iPhone”. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store?"
    I then click "Authorize" and I then get this message:-
    "Authorise This Computer - Enter Apple ID and Password"
    but the Apple ID it offers as the default is no longer in use and has been deleted from my account...I don't have an account with this Apple ID (it was the old Apple ID I had when I first got the computer). Any of my past or present passwords I use for this account are not accepted and this is now sopping me from backing up my iPhone. How do I get ride of this old account...is it the iPhone or the iMac thats the problem?

    It was a while ago but I'm very certain I simply changed my email address. Anyway, I've now deleted the problem apps and backed up!

    I have an iphone 4 and just downloaded ios6...my itunes says its out of date but when I go to download the new one it says my mac needs to be os x 10.6.3 or higher. So then I go to download that, and it won't let me. Any suggestions? I need my itunes!

    Start with Snow Leopard, then decide if you want to/can upgrade more (jump to Mountain Lion).  Yes, you have to pay for OSX upgrades.  You may also have to pay for RAM upgrades to run the newer system versions and pay even more for upgrades to software that no longer runs under the newer systems.

    It is just saying you should upgrade or is it absolutely insisting?  If insisting then you have no choice.

    It seems to refer to the ‘old’ iTunes U instead of the new public site manager. I must admit I find the iTunes U documentation quite consfusing and unitiuative. The web layout of the PSM and Admin guide in particular is very poor.
    I was looking for some information on iTunes U private sites, specifically how they differ from public sites and how to go about setting one up, but I can’t seem to find any information at all in the iTunes U documentation. Could someone point in the right direction?

    iTunes has an out of date list of iPhoto albums. I have tried restarting both but no change. Any other ideas to kick iTunes into having another look at the iPhoto album list?

    Do you have an installed email program such as Microsoft Outlook?  If your email is through an online login, such as Gmail, etc, then one will have to create an email association with a program such as Microsoft Outlook on the PC for this Scan to Email system to function.

    Which particular .msi file is the message going on to say cannot be found? (Several different .msi files might be mentioned in this context: itunes.msi, bonjour.msi, AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi, etc.)

    Let me see if I've gotten this right! You want to remove an account from BOTH machines? Do this for your new machine first, then for the other.
    Click the Apple logo on the top left of the screen, System Preferences, Users and Groups (under Systems), unlock the lock in the window if its locked (you need to know the password), select the user that you wish to remove, and click the - sign next to the + sign for Login options. A window will pop up with some options. Select Delete this user and securely, and click 'Delete user'.
    After this, do an update from the App Store.
    Thats all there is to it.
    For the other machine repeat the process except for one thing. Before you delete the user in this case YOU, you will have to give Administrator priviledges to your son bu checking the box 'Allow user to administer this computer'.
    Do NOT do anything from Finder ... if you dont know how to fix the consequences of the problems caused.
    There is no need to unauthorize your iTunes account on your new machine. Do it on the old machine though.

    The second issue is when I try to select "Manually Manage Music"
         The iPhone "My iPhone" is synced with another iTunes libary on "MY-PC".  Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?  An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time.  Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
    So... I don't want to do that, but I do what to be able to Manage my music.  I'm not sure what it means by being synced to another iTunes unless it means to an older version of itunes?
    Anyone have any ideas?

    I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it.     Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 10.4 I've been getting this dreaded message on many occasions when I try to sync my iPhone 4 or iPad 2 with my Win 7 64 bit machine. "iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later." What happens is that local content (music, videos etc) will sync properly to my iPhone, but other content (such as Outlook information, MobileMe stuff, etc) will not.
    I have uninstalled and completely purged all Apple data from my PC (including hidden files and folders under Common Files and in the Registry) and reinstalled iTunes. Yet after one or two syncs, the same problem resurfaces. The other weird part is that the Sync Services crap-out message will happen after I do a successful sync, leave the iPhone connected to the PC, and don't even touch the computer for several hours.
    I've actually developed a very tedious work around that seems to restore syncing if for a short time.
    - Undock/unconnect all Apple devices from the PC.
    - Close iTunes, MobileMe control panel, and Safari (if you have it).
    - Start Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del) and shut down iTunesHelper.exe and SyncServer.exe
    - Open up a Windows Explorer window (like My Computer) and under Tools, Folder Options, View, toggle on Show Hidden Files and toggle off Hide Protected Operating System FIles
    - In WIndows Explorer, navigate to "C:\Users\<your name>\App Data\Roaming\Apple Computer". Rename the folder Sync Services to something else, like Sync Services_Old.
    - In WIndows Explorere, navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support" and double-click on AppleSyncNotifier.exe.
    - Go back to your Folder Options and turn off SHow Hidden Files and toggle on Hide Protected Operationg System Files
    Now you can start up iTunes again and connect your device. It should sync properly again (at least, until it doesn't once more).
    Does anyone at Apple have any idea about this error or a solution?

    It's important that you go through the steps EXACTLY as described here and in the proper order. Also make sure MobileMe control panel is uninstalled (if you have it).
    Interestingly, when I went through this procedure and then reinstalled iTunes 10.4 64-bit  (didn't do MobileMe or Safari at this stage, but QT is automatically installed) everything worked perfectly. The aforementioned error messages disappeared and all is working flawlessly, as it should.
    I hope my expereince will help! Give it a try.

    You need iTunes on the computer. There is no iTunes for your phone. See:

    Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
    You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
