Itunes won't download on my iphone

My purchased itunes will not download to my iphone, but they do download to my ipod. I have the box checked to download songs. When I try to access itunes on my iphone, it tells me I have to be connected to wi-fi. Thank you for any assistance.

When you sync, do you have "sync all music" checked? Are you getting any error messages?
To access the iTunes store from your iPhone, you do need to be connected to Wi-Fi. Edge won't work for the iTunes store.

I would be concerned too if the songs I purchased from iTunes were not downloading to my iPhone. You have taken some great troubleshooting steps already, and thank you for providing the details of the steps you too. I have a few additional suggestions to get it downloaded to your iPhone.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted:
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.

If the songs still do not download, next I recommend downloading the songs when connected to another network. For example, if you are using the cellular network, you could switch to Wi-Fi, or you could try an alternate Wi-Fi network. Follow the steps in the section titled "iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch > Music" in the article below to download the songs:

The new update for itunes won't download on my mac. It says that it is not compatible with my operating system. I just want to put music on my IPHONE 5!!!!!

thought that it was possible to have the same iTunes library on any machine that was authorised, a kind of cloud-iTunes I guess.

No, I haven't figured it out. And no one from Apple has contacted me to help. Very frustrating. Sure makes me want to not buy music on iTunes and just buy CD's.

Hey guys!
I was just wondering if any of you knew why iTunes won't download on my PC?
I have tried a couple times, but it won't work.
Here is what I did:
1. Pressed "iTunes in the menu.
2. Chose the 64bit download, which is the right one for my laptop.
3. Accepted anything and everything they asked for, and setup everything. (Language, desktop icon, etc.)
4. When the download started, it got stuck on the first step og downloading, the green bar never even showed up.
What do I do? Please help a poor fellow in need.

I recently went to upgrade my iPhone 5 with the iOS8 software through iTunes. Everything was going fine until iTunes prompted me with the following error message:
'Software Update Failed – Error Occurred Downloading,’ ‘Server Could not be Contacted’
I have now attempted to restore my phone several times, as iTunes had removed the previous software through the updating process. However, whenever iTunes has finished downloading the software to perform an install...nothing happens. My phone simply remains with this screen:

How do I transfer an itunes film rental downloaded onto my iPhone 5 onto my pc?

I downloaded a movie from iTunes that i rented onto my iPhone 5, but would now l would like to watch it on my pc instead. ~When I connect my phone to my pc I can see it in my rentals, but when I go into iTunes it isn't there (on my pc), only on my phone. With my phone plugged into my pc in itunes, in my phone summary and my rentals I have highlighted it and pressed Sync but it won't go onto my pc and I can't double click on it to watch it, only on my phone. I have synced my phone and it's still not there. Help
