ITunes won't recognize devices

I have an iPod Nano, which is the first device that I have connected to iTunes, and it works fine with it. Recently, however, I got a new phone with iTunes on it-I start iTunes and plug in the phone (USB), and Windows recognizes it and installs it as a USB Mass Storage Device (E:)...it won't show up in the list in iTunes as it is supposed to.
I just got a iPod Shuffle, and I have the same problem with that. When I plug it in, Windows recognizes it as a USB Mass Storage Device, and installs the drivers and stuff-but doesn't show up on the iTunes list. I have the latest version of iTunes. So in short, iTunes recognizes my first device, but not the other two (phone and Shuffle). Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem since I updated iTunes a few days ag, it wont recognise any of my Apple Devices but my PC will recognise them when I plug them it on the device it Trust this Computer comes on the Screen, It won't sync anything, I guess you've updated too. I'm also on Windows 8

Without you telling ua the name of the file you delete there isn't much we can do to help you.
If you don't know the name of the file, your only alternative would be to take it to the Apple Store and ask them to fix,

Can someone please help. My IPhoneS stopped working right after I did the latest update which was yesterday. Now, the phone does not work at all. When turned on, the screen shows a picture of USB cable pointing to the ITunes logo. I have tried just about everything, and cannot get it working. It's like it is frozon. My ITunes does not recognize my device. Cannot dial out either. I desperately need to get it working. Can someone please help me.

The update did not do anything.
AT&T cannot and will not do anything, they do not provide support for iPhones, Apple does.
The issue is not with the iPhone or iOS if you've reset network settings and tried forgetting the Wi-Fi Network, it is specific to the network.
Check the settings on the router, try disabling the security settings first... that will clarify the issue is not with the device but rather the Network.

Itunes won't recognize device, nor ipad 2 or ipod. Itunes 64 bit on win 7 64 bit.

Everytime i try and sync the ipod or ipad it says that i don't have the required software for syncing. Therefore i should uninstall and reinstall itunes 64 bit. I have tried severall times but it won't work. I am very annoyed because it has never happend before. Please can someone help me?

It may have something to do with AMDS not started.

Itunes won't recognize Iphone but device still charges

Today, I had my Iphone 5c replaced after having issues with the software on my previous iphone 5c. I'm trying to put the data that was on my previous phone back onto my new replacement but Itunes won't recognize my device. I have tried getting the data back on my phone using Icloud but the backup data that is for my Iphone can't be selected as the backup data requires software that is ios 7.1 or later (or something like that). I have selected the option of "set up as new iphone" and just downloaded the software update but I don't know how to get back to the screen that shows the icloud backups.
I have also tried all the recommended things for when the device cannot be detected with itunes (ex. reinstalling itunes, restarting apple mobile device support< ect.)
If you can help with how I can get my itunes to recognize my iphone or how i can set up with icloud after selecting "set up as new iphone" that would be great

Set the phone up as a new phone. Then update the iOS to 7.1. After the update is complete restore your phone from your backup.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Start iTunes. Make sure you really are running the version you think you are. Sometimes people end up with two copies, different versions.

You say you are running Snow Leopard 10.6.3. That version will not run the latest iTunes which requires 10.6.8 If you need iTunes 10.7 you have to be running 10.6.8

Itunes won't recognize my Ipod classic. It woudn't recognize the old one, Apple store said it was the Ipod so I bought a new one but it won't recognizethat one either

Try the iPod troubleshooting assistant:
If you haven't already done so, try the steps in the iPod Troubleshooting Assistant (choose your iPod model from the list).
If the issue remains after following your iPod's troubleshooting assistant, follow the steps below.
2. Restart the iPod Service
3. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service
4. Empty your Temp directory and restart
5. Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed
6. Change your iPod's drive letter
7. Remove and reinstall iTunes
8. Disable conflicting System Services and Startup Items
9. Update, Reconfigure, Disable, or Remove Security Software
10. Deleting damaged or incorrect registry keys

I bought a new iPhone and already have an Apple ID & Password & iTune account. When I plugged my new iPhone I kept getting a "AppleMobileDeviceHelper" error messages. They keep popping out. Plus iTune won't recognize my Apple ID (I don't want a new one, since it has the payment info and all). Anyone can help?
