I Recently got a used iPod touch, version 3.1.3. I do not know how to reset everything. First I have tried to reset all settings, but it asks for restriction code. Also, my iTunes does not recognize it. Please help!

I just purchased this movie on Thursday, May 15, so just a few days ago. I have never had any trouble whatsoever since I have been in Vietnam. I have downloaded several movies and even music and they have all synced to my respected Apple products except for this purchase.
Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean by studios and different versions. Could you please explain?
I checked my purchased list in my purchase history under my account and there are no hidden items. -
My itunes won't open up.. someone please help?
"Apple application support was not found. Apple application support is required to run itunes. Please uninstall itunes and reinstall again. Error 2. (windows error 2)"
that error comes up everytime i try to open up itunes. I've un-installed itunes several times, and re-installed again. I've uninstalled everything containing apple in my control panel, turned my computer off and tried to install itunes again and it's STILL not working. I need it to work by tonight. Could someone pleaseeeeeee help me? Thanks so muTry this solution I found online:
1. Download and install WinRAR.
2. Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe icon and choose "Open with WinRAR".
3. Once the EXE is opened in WinRAR, double-click AppleApplicationSupport.msi and when the installer window is open choose "Repair".
4. Done! You can now run iTunes normally. -
The computer I am referring to is a Windows. However, when I use the same USB cord and plug it into a MacBook Pro, the ipod is recognized and the ipod recognizes the computer. Also, it gets charge from the Wall outlet as well.

I deleted some Apple software, now iTunes won't recognize my iPod
So earlier today I removed Bonjour, and the Apple Mobile Device from my computer. Now all of a sudden iTunes won't recognize my iPod, but windows does. Could this issue be related to removing the software from my computer?
Take a look at this web page and see if it helps:

ITunes won't recognize my iPod Click

ITunes won't recognize my iPod
I was synching my ipod the other night and iTunes crashed. After being connected for an hour it would not do anything. I went to task manager and it said iTunes was not responding. So I shut iTunes down from task manager. Now when I attach my iPod to my computer it is recognized in windows but iTunes does not recognize it and it won't synch. I have followed the first two steps in this link http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1363?viewlocale=en_US and iTunes still does not recognize it. I was about to try the 3rd step which is this.
On the Start menu, click My Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
In My Computer, open Local Disk C:.
Open Documents and Settings.
Double-click the folder that bears your username.
If you see a Local Settings folder, skip to step 9. If you don't see a Local Settings folder, proceed to the next step.
On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
Select the "Show hidden files and folders" button.
Click OK.
Double-click Local Settings.
Right-click on the Temp folder and on the shortcut menu, click Delete.
In the confirmation dialog that appears, click Yes.
If you are unable to delete the Temp folder, close all programs, especially those in the Notification area (system tray) of the Windows Task bar shown below and repeat step 10.
Restart your computer.
Install the latest version of iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download and connect your iPod.
However, I can't find ANY of the folders they are talking about. I have windows vista on my laptop. I can't find a document and settings folder, a local settings folder, nor a Temp folder. I have selected to show hidden folders in the folder options menu. Can someone tell me how to follow this step (emptying the temp directory and restarting) on Windows Vista. OR, does anyone have any idea of what I can do to get iTunes to once again recognize my iPod.
Message was edited by: tiffakiaHere is the latest update in my saga. I decided to hook my iPod classic to my desktop computer to see if the iTunes on there recognized it. I barely use this computer so it did not have an updated version of iTunes on it. After the drivers were updated I got a message in iTunes saying that Tiffany's iPod could not be used with this version of iTunes because it required version 7.6 or higher (or something like that). I took that as a good sign since iTunes obviously recognized the iPod long enough to correctly tell me the name of my iPod. However, after updating iTunes the desktop's iTunes did not recognize my iPod classic either. I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with this thing since Wednesday of last week. I am just really frustrated now. I was hesitant to reformat the iPod because I read in some other posts that people reformated the iPod and iTunes still didn't recognize it. At least now I do have some music on the iPod...but I guess at this point I have no other choices. Any other ideas out there I may be missing? And if I do have to reformat the iPod do I do that by going to my computer and reformating it there since iTunes doesn't recognize it which means I can't restore it using iTunes.

TS1425 itunes won't recognize my ipod
I worked with apple support to reload itunes. Now my computer won't recognize my ipod classic, at all.
Do you have any other USB devices connected to that Mac Mini? If so, properly disconnect them and reboot your PC and then reconnect your Shuffle with iTunes running.
If still no luck, try a reset of the Shuffle with it still connected to your Mac.

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

ITunes won't recognize my iPod classic in disk mode.
I have a iPod classic that has the sad face. I read all the articles, and videos that show how to fix it, and all of them show that you need to force it into disk mode and plug it into your computer and restore it with iTunes. I can get it into disk mode fine, but when I plug it into my computer iTunes won't recognize it.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.Is there any way to hard restore it, with out hooking it up to the computer.
