ITunes won't see my 2nd App screen unless I sync

Running iTunes 9.0.0.25
My iTouch has software version 3.1.2 running.
Hook my iTouch up with iTunes running. Recognized it. Click on Applications tab. It will only show the first screen of my iTouch until I click on Sync.
I want to sync 3 apps to my iTouch and put them on my 2nd screen which I already have apps. When I put the check for Sync Applications, the 2nd screen drops off and the apps are forced onto the first screen. How do I get iTunes to recognize the 2nd screen so I can put apps on it?
My workaround has been to download the apps straight from the iTouch but I'd rather not do that unless I have to.

You should see your additional screens on the right the depiction of your home screen. Just drag the apps listed on the left to the screen you want them on. Make sure you click Sync to save them.

My iTunes stopped recognizing my iPhone and iPod touch. I've rebooted both devices, done a restart on both devices. Rebooted my MacBook. Done every combination of the above. Downloaded/Reinstalled iTunes.

I've used both USB ports. Multiple sync cables. Both devices will charge. I'm just worried I'm going to plug in my 4s and I'll have the same problem. And, how to fix the iPod toch.

I have a new iphone5. i can not get itunes to even SEE the device. How can i sync?

The warranty entitles you to complimentary phone support for the first 90 days of ownership.
If you bought the product in the U.S. directly from Apple (not from a reseller), you have 14 days from the date of delivery in which to exchange or return it for a refund. In other countries, the return policy may be different. If you bought from a reseller, its return policy applies.

  • My iTunes won't force quit and says it's still syncing my iPhone after hours of syncing.

My iTunes won't force quit and says it's still syncing my iPhone after hours of syncing. I had plugged in my iPhone 4S in the morning before I left for school, it synced almost completely, and then it got stuck on "Finishing Sync". I pulled my iPhone out because I had to leave to go to school, and iTunes is still stuck on "Finishing Sync". I tried force quitting and restarting but it's of no use. Now I can't use iTunes at all.

Scratch that, I TRIED to shut down but I guess iTunes overrided it because it still thinks it's syncing

  • Retrieved old app from Time Machine, but iTunes won't see it

I'm running 10.6.1. iTunes 9, iPhone 3.1. I'm trying to revert to an older version of an app. I retrieved the older app from Time Machine and I can see it in Finder in my iTunes/Mobile Applications folder. iTunes doesn't see it though. Is there a way to make iTunes see it?

I just discovered that I have to import the reverted app's file into my iTunes Library (File -> Add To Library). Nevermind.

  • ITunes does not see my Remote app...

    Hello everyone!
I'm trying to set up home sharing, and I feel like this is rocket science. It's been 2 hours and I still can't get it to work.
I have the latest version of iTunes, the latest version of Remote app. I am using Windows 7, and my iOS is 7.1
I followed every single step found in the help section, nothing works. I have reset my router like 5 times, Home sharing is turned on on both devices, firewall is checked and not blocking anything, I closed and reopened both iTunes and the Remote app. Restarted the PC, iPhone - nothing.
iTunes doesn't seem to recognize/see my Remote as a device.
Using the same Wi-Fi for both, it's a home network, I have the boxes checked in the Edit-Preferences-Sharing (in iTunes)...
I have done literally everything I found on the internet as a "solution".
Can someone - please - help me out with this? I'm going insane...
    Thank you kindly!

I could be wrong, but if you are talking about the app downloaded from the App Store called "remote" that app didn't work for me either. I believe the app is a scam.

  • ITunes won't see all Aperture photos

I have a rather large Aperture photo library (30,000 photos), and I like to view various groups of photos on my iPod Touch and also on my Apple TV. In both cases, however, iTunes won't let me choose all of the available projects and albums. In some instances, it will recognize the album but won't see any photos. In this particular scenario, the album has about 1500 photos of jpeg and Canon Raw types. Is this a known problem or am I configuring Aperture albums incorrectly for iTunes compatibility?
I have Aperture 2.0.1, Leopard and iTunes 7.6.1. The iPod Touch is at 1.1.4 and Apple TV is running 2.0 of the OS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Greg

Somewhat similar issue here. No new photos are being added to the iPhone via iTunes sync and iTunes does not seem to update itself with the Aperture library at all. I have photos in the "Last Week" smart album in Aperture (empty) while the iPhone displays 57 photos that are now pushing a month old.
The problem is exactly the same with the sync to Apple TV, so I figure the common link (iTunes) is likely the culprit -- though I guess it's possible that Aperture is not sharing the info with iTunes.
The problem seemed to have appeared with iTunes 7.6 and persists with 7.7.1. and with the most-recent Aperture update.
I completely trashed the .plist files for iTunes a week or so ago to no avail.

  • ITunes won't see the iPhone

I just purchased a MAcbook Pro, running Leopard 10.5, and iTunes 8.02. I already have an iPhone 3G, running OS 2.2. Everything worked fine when I sync'd it with my PC. Now that I have a Mac, I'd like to sync it with this, but iTunes won't acknowledge that the iPhone exists - or at least that it is connected to the Mac. I have tried both USB ports, and the result is the same. I have used the USB ports for other things, like connecting jump drives, and they seem to work.
I have tried restarting the iPhone, no change.
    Any suggestions?

Check System Preferences > Accounts, click your username then the Login Items tab - is iTunesHelper present? If not, that's the problem. Download iTunes from the link below and run the installer (no need to delete anything first).

If not, then you may need to remove and reinstall AMDS:

  • ITunes won't see and sync my calendars

    Hi all,
I have the following problem: iTunes doesn't recognize my calendars and therefore doesn't sync them. The calendar dialog in iTunes looks like this:
And my calendars look like that:
All attemps to fix that have failed so far. I have exported, deleted and re-imported calendars, deleted Library/Calendars as well as Library/Application Support/SyncServices - without any change.
I'm close to desperation, in particular since I'm right before a business travel and I will need my calendars on the iPhone.
    My system data:
MacBook Pro Retina with MacOS X 10.8.5
    iTunes 11.1.2
    iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.3.
Any idea how to get this to work again is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance + best wishes,

  • Itunes won't let me back up my Ipod, or sync music

    Hi there
My itunes won't give me the option to back up my ipod touch (3rd gen)- I have the latest iTunes and iOS (4.2) but it still won't let me create a backup. When I right click on the ipod, the only backup option I am given is to restore from an old backup, which is 2 years old and from a completely different Ipod touch. I am not given the option to create a new back up.
This is an issue for me, as when my ipod syncs, it tries to transfer purchased apps from my ipod to the computer (and does so), but when it is about to sync songs it say 'Error reading to disk' and cancels the sync - this means the only way I can get new songs onto the ipod is to restore it to its original settings, something I have had to do twice already, and am reluctant to do again, as I don't have a backup!
    Many thanks

    - Have you tried resetting your iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - The following may help since it concerns disk reading errors

  • Iphone app update won't go away, now app not working after sync

Using Iphone Appstore to update aurora feint, progress bar gets to 75% then pops up "Unable to Downlaod Application. Aurora Feint The Beginning will be available for download when you log in to the iTunes Stone on your computer.
So I log on to iTunes store download the update, plug in phone and sync goes ok. Unplug phone and the Aurora Feint updater icon is still left on phone, and the Aurora feint app is now gone. So I remove app from phone, resync, update icon still there, I reinstall app, resync, same issue update icon is there, but no app. I have rebooted phone, tried a restore, I can't get rid of Aurora Feint updater on iphone, and I cannot see aurora feint app on iphone.
Is there ANYWAY to manually remove the Aurora Feint Updater from iPhone?????? Everytime I run it I get the same error message.
    thx

Ok so if I hold down an icon (in order to move icons around) and press (x) on the installer it went away. Had to then resync and remove app from phone, and then reinstall app back to phone.
That sucked.... had a brain **** about the wiggly remove icon bit. But still I would have thought that the updater and the app would be recognized as two different objects by itunes.....
