ITunes won't sync all movies to Apple TV!

Hi,
I have an Apple TV with a US iTunes Store account. I bought 7 movies. And iTunes only copies one movie, Letters to Juliet, to the Apple TV. Whichever setting I try, it only copies that one!
What do I need to do?
I have reset the Apple TV twice and it still didn't work. I have given out the authorizations multiple times, reset those and re-authorized them again.. But no success.. I am on a stand still, don't know what to do!
Can someone help me?
Thanks!

If I were you I would contact the iTunes support team directly. I once had a problem where my iTunes gift cards were not redeeming, but once I contacted the iTunes support team via email, they were able to fix everything.

You can also contact them directly by phone them or setting up an appointment for them to call you.

  • ITunes won't sync all of my music to iPhone 4s

iTunes won't sync all of the music, it is skipping random songs, they still come up on the Music on the phone but cannot be played.. If anyone knows how to fix this please help.

Was this music purchased from iTunes or ripped? I have had problems in the past when I changed Apple IDs, and the content purchased through my previous account would not sync. If memory serves, I think it was an issue to do with the Mac not being authorised to access my old account. Signing in with my old account and authorising it resolved it. Not sure if this helps, but thought I would share.

  • Restored 4th Gen Ipod, now itunes won't sync all my songs, what to do?

I was having trouble with my ipod, so I restored. Now all the songs on my itunes won't sync down to my pod. It took like 20 songs out of 2000. How do I fix this?

    replying to aissy55
It comes up with a 1428 error message sometimes, and sometimes it says that I have to restore my iPod. I have restored it many times, but it just keeps going in a circle and will not sync my songs back to the iPod.
hmmmm. if you're relentlessly getting a recovery mode message, then you might be having a Windows drive letter confusion. see the following document for troubleshooting suggestions with that:

  • ITUNES WON'T SYNC ALL SONGS TO IPAD

When syncing my ipad 2 to itunes on my desktop, not all songs transfer over. I select one play list to sync, and some of the songs move to the ipad though all show up on the desktop/itunes view of my ipad. It appears that the songs that won't sync are ones I've loaded onto itunes from a cd while all of the songs that transfer are purchased. Ive tried reseting the ipad to original settings, turning the computer authorization off and back on and hard resetting the ipad. And both the ipad and itunes are currently updated. And these same songs that won't transfer have transfered fine to my ipod. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you may need to re-download the entire albums from iTunes. See this KB article for how to download past purchases: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.
I'd suggest doing it one album at a time. Delete one, download it from your purchase histor, then the next, etc.

  • Itunes won't sync all the songs

My Iphone 4s simply could not sync all songs in my album.  Itunes could make it look like it synced all of them to the phone while in reality only 70% of the songs are playable, the non-playale ones are going to be in grey and you couldn't even click onto them.  When I plugged the phone into my Itunes again, it showed the same thing.  So I tried to sync it, only to find that it would not carry any "grey songs" over.  If you hit sync, it would sync the first 2 songs, then it would AUTOMATICALLY say sync cancelled.  And in the end no songs have been synced at all, my phone is still without the remaining 30% of the songs.
There are absolutely no songs I could get over that are marked grey.  Any of you have been through this before?  Is there a solution to "reactivate" the grey songs?  They're perfectly playable on my computer, just that I can't get it onto my phone.
I have had problems with Itunes before and I hope this incident won't add to the hate I have for this software.

mine is doing the same thing other than Itunes saying it can't read the format. I can't play 90% of my music. I took it to an apple store the other day an they told me only purchased music will work. Not even a music upload from a CD. Which to me is a load of ....because my wife has all the songs on her iphone that are greyed out on mine and they work on hers

  • My iTunes won't sync all of my music to my iPod touch

I know all of the music is on my iTunes, as I am able to play the items on my laptop via iTunes. Yet my iPod refuses to sync the content. I have reset my iPod, checked the sync settings to sync all music, made sure I have the latest version of iTunes. I don't know wether to assume that there is a problem with my laptop or my iPod touch. Please help! My musical life is at stake

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Try deleting the the iTunes purchased ones and redownloading them.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • My iTunes won't sync all my songs with my iPod

I'm using auto sync, just like I always have, and the box is checked to sync all songs with the iPod. If you check the bar at the bottom of the sync page, it *thinks* all 5000+ songs are on the iPod, and there's plenty of room left. But when you play one of the songs on the iPod, it says playing 1 of 800. Some of my songs are unchecked to not sync, but we're talking 100 max. So how do I get the missing 4,100 songs to copy??
The iPod is an iPod touch with iOS 5.1.1; Mac is using OS 10.9.1; iTunes version 11.1.3.

Have you tried performing a restore on the iPod?

  • ITunes won't sync all photos in album

I've got an iPhoto album with 280 photos in it. iTunes will only sync 10 of those photos - any ideas or solutions appreciated. iTunes nor iPhoto is displaying any error messages during sync.
Im trying to sync to an iPad2 with OSX 10.7 through iTunes 10.4.
    Thanks, Paul

I managed to solve this myself - not sure how exactly, but I did the following -
deleted 'albumdata.xml' and 'albumdata2.xml' from the iPhoto library
deleted the iPod photo cache from the iPhoto library
reopened iPhoto which recreated the albumdata xml files
synced the iPad to remove all photos
synced the iPad to add all the selected photo albums
Weird process but fixed my problems.

  • ITunes won't sync all of my Audiobooks...

I cannot sync all of my iTunes audiobooks with my iPhone. When I look at my audiobooks in iTunes some of the titles are gray and others are black. They will both play on my computer but only the black ones will transfer to my iphone.
Any ideas why some aren't syncing?

  • IPad won't sync all movies

I am trying to sync my iPad with my movies brought from iTunes but not all will transfer. Why?

Do you have enough space free? Movies are fairly big. I only ever have 1 or 2 at a time.
Is your iPad using the same Apple ID as your iTunes?
    Do other purchases sync ok?

  • ITunes won't sync all photos across from iPhoto to my iPad, either when using 'all photos' or manually selecting the events. All the rest sync normally

Can anyone suggest a workround or reason why I can't sync a batch of about 300 photos in 5 events on consecutive days across from iPhoto 09 to my iPad 2? All the rest (>1000 frames mainly before and some after) go over, including some shot on the same digital camera (before and after). I've tried using 'all photos' and also manually selecting the events individually, they won't go. An album containing some of these photos goes across without them included, and converting the whole album on iPhoto to a movie and then dropping that into my videos won't go either. I've cleared the sync history as advised by the support line, and all software is updated. Loads of room on the iPad

Started having the same issue with my iPad 2 just this week. Tried deleting the iPod Photo Cache, disabling then re-enabling photo sync through iTunes, but keep getting the error: "Some of your photos, including the photo “XXX.jpg”, were not copied to the iPad “XXX” because they cannot be displayed on your iPad." This is with iOS 4.3.5, iTunes 10.4, and Mac OS 10.7 Lion.
Interestingly enough, I have no issues syncing the same exact set of photos to my iPhone 4 (also running 4.3.5). This seems to be an iPad-only issue.

  • ITunes won't sync my movies or songs correctly. Please help.

Connected my iPhone 5s to my iMac; iTunes popped up & recognized my device as it should. Attempted to delete some movies off my phone through iTunes after unchecking the automatically sync & checking the manually manage music & videos. After checking only the videos I wanted to remain on my phone & clicking apply, not only does it not delete the unchecked videos but it also tells me I do not have enough room on my ipod for the changes. I was not adding, only deleting, so how could I now not have enough room? After going round and round with this I finally decided to delete all my movies & music & start over but I got the same result as above. I then tried restoring my phone to the last back up but it told me I did not have enough room on my phone to do so. Also, what iTunes shows is on my phone & what is actually on it is two different things. Please help as I have been working on this for over 2 hours now! And after finally figuring out yesterday what setting needed to be adjusted on my iMac to make the internet actually work with my new modem, which was a 2 week ordeal, I am about done with Apple!!!

    Hey,
I just contacted their support and they said that if you install the filter now, iTunes will not be blocked. That's a wicked awesome turn around time!
However, you don't have to reinstall. You can allow it through the Control Center under Content Filter. Just click on the application list, uncheck iTunes, click Apply, then OK, and close the control center.

  • ITunes won't sync all of my songs to my iPhone 4S

When I sync to my iPhone 4S, it won't allow my to manually manage the music. The box can be checked, but other than that, nothing happens. On my phones music section, there are no options, other than voice memos, so I can't drag music to it. When I sync my iTunes, it syncs to iCloud only part of my library, and I am forced to download what I want to permanently reside on my iPhone from the iCloud. However, not all of my library is available. How do I get the rest of my songs there? Supposedly, iMatch was the solution, but it did nothing.

Is the music in question selected to sync?

  • ITunes does not sync my movies to Apple TV

    Hi,
I have a bunch of movies I've shot with camcorder in my iTunes library in .MOV format. I've slected Custom Sync and tried various settings (automatic, manual select) but after a sync I have nothing in the My Movise section for Apple TV on either PC or ATV.
What am I missing? Music and photos sync just fine.
    Thanks,
    Steve

  • ITunes won't sync mp4/mov on pictures folder to iPhone/iPad

This has only started happening since updating to IOS 5, on both iPad 1 and iPhone 4. The actual message is: "Some of the videos in your iTunes library were not copied to the iPhone/iPad because they cannot be pladed on this iPhone/iPad"
Problem is, these videos (some taken with the iPhone 4!) have previously sync´d before, so I know that they are the correct format (mp4´s and mov´s). I have tried deleting all pictures, and syncing again to no avail.
    I´m on a Windows 7 x64 machine.
    Can anyone help, please?

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
