Itunes wont open and I get an error message
I'm really confused by whats going on with my itunes. It was working ok then I went to open it and it didnt open. An error message pops up saying: Itunes cannot open because it has detected an error with your audio configuration. I tried going into control panel audio section but there wasnt anything there to help me. So hopefully someone here can help. Thank you SO much

Itunes wont start and i get no error messages
i just downloaded itunes 7.3 and itunes wont start any ideas how to fix?
Okay. I'm still wondering about your firewall. A "persistent" iTunes.exe in your processes is most consistent with a firewall blocking iTunes, iTunesHelper and/or QuickTime from accessing the Internet. (Norton Internet Security 2005 is by far the worst offender in this regard, but it can be produced both other firewalls too.)
Head into the Firewalls settings and make sure that iTunes, iTunesHelper, and QuickTime are all being allowed full access to the internet.
If iTunes still doesn't launch after making sure the firewall is correctly adjusted, reboot the PC and try the suggestion from the following document. (It's a much rarer issue, but it can also produce that persistent iTunes.exe symptom in conjunction with an error-message-free iTunes launch failure.)

When I try to play a downloaded TV show, itunes stops working and I get a error message "APPCRASH". I have updated itunes and removed and reinstalled quicktime.
Open your QuickTime control panel (either via the Control panels, or by going "Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences" in the Quicktime Player). In the Advanced tab, uncheck Enable Direct3D video acceleration:
... and click OK.
Quit the QuickTime Player if you have it open. Restart the PC and try watching the videos in iTunes again. Do they play now? -
firefox used to work no problem, I updated firefox a few month ago, now firefox will not open and I get the error message as above
As of Firefox 4.0 and newer one needs both OSX 10.5+ and a Intel Mac.
The last version to work on a Intel Mac using OSX 10.4.* is Firefox 3.6.*

I am trying to download itunes 10.6 and keep getting the error message "The feature you are trying to use in on a network resource that is unavailable. Enter alternate path to a folder containing the installation package itunes67.msi". Where do I find this or how do I get it?
"The feature you are trying to use in on a network resource that is unavailable. Enter alternate path to a folder containing the installation package itunes64.msi".
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
I just downloaded Itunes 11.1.4 (64-bit) update and am running Windows 7. Itunes will not run after installing this update and I receive an error message R6034 on Loading Microsoft C Runtime Library incorrectly. Also Error message 1114 the Itunes Installer was installed incorrectly. Is there an new update for this problem? Is anyone else having this problem? Please help. Thanks.
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Reinstalled iTunes 10.7 and now get an error message about the iTunes Store when iTunes opens
I just reinstalled iTunes 10.7 on my pc (Windows Vista 64-bit) after that disastrous iTunes 11, and now when iTunes opens, I get an annoying error message "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (4002)" I click on OK and I have no problem with iTunes opening and playing anything but how can I get rid of this annoying message? I'm not even trying to get into the iTunes Store.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=be09gGFw-Y4

The error message suggests that this problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies, yet cookies are enabled.
I want to import my calendar from Outlook but I can't even open the exisiting calendar I have already set up in associaion with my gmail accountThis issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

ITunes not opening and there is no error message!!
I have the latest version of iTunes on my computer. Whenever I try to open iTunes nothing happens. The waiting icon and arrow pop up for just a second and then it goes right back to the arrow pointer. Any ideas on what to do with this?! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, that doesn't do anything.
clucas,
Does iTunes.exe and/or iTunesHelper.exe show up in the Task Manager?

I'm trying to install iTunes 10.5 and I get an error message.
The error says, "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to comeplete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
I had the same problem too, had to completely remove anything apple related. You can find the instructions here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
Uninstalling all the components didn't work first time for me, so if you have the same problem, move onto another and go back to it in a few minutes. I also had to go into programme files and delete the apple related files after install.
Mines okay now, hopefully this works for you too! My iTunes library returned to how it was before the install also, very handy! -
THANKS.
Depending on which version of Firefox you're using, it no longer currently supports the plug-in provided with Adobe Reader. You have to use PDF Plugin 2.4.4. Just disable the Adobe plugin and use the Schubert plugin.
