Itunes wont re download i phone wont restore
having a nightmare night need my itunes and phone working by 7am aswell
right i had it all working 2hours ago
i plugged in my iphone3gs to sync it. itunes said i need to upgrade so i clicked ok left it to update.
it came up with an error message and told me i had to restore it.
so i went on restore it then said i couldnt restore
i tried downloading the itunes update it says invalid signature.
so i unistalled itunes and now i cant reinstall it
PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP OUT

ITunes won't download iOS 8 during restore
I have tried many times now to restore my iPod touch 5g with iTunes, however, iTunes never fully downloads iOS 8.1 To begin the restore. It gets to about 639MB then iTunes tries to process the file. It then says to check my internet connection. I've tried to do this on 3 different wifi networks with excellent wifi signal. I believe this is a problem with iTunes or maybe the server that the file is being downloaded from. Any help would be appreciated.
Go here and download the firmware (to your Desktop) for your model. Then connect your iPod to iTunes, hold your Option key down when clicking on Restore and select the firmware on your Desktop that you downloaded. It should install and update your unit.

You will have to restore using itunes.... if that doesn't work, try entering dfu mode before restoring

Did the itunes and ios updates and phone wont work.

The phone will not work and its not being recognised in iTunes.
What do I do? I think I may have made it worse because I've tried to reinstall the previous version of itunes as was suggested elsewhere.

Try switching off your seurity software and restore the device http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
NB: using that article will erase everything so make sure you have a backup
try restoring on another computer if this fails, and if that doesn't work either, the device needs hardware repair. -

im am trying to restore my iphone after it got locked for some dumb reson(locked = needs activation for no f**king reson).

You know when you buy an App from the App Store it asks for your password because it's tied to the email of the account with your credit card info etc etc. Is this possible to take off/change without restoring the phone?

I was trying to transfer itunes to my macpro from my iphone 4 and the phone froze up with the itunes logo and a usb cord looking like its suppose to plug into the itunes.. Now my phone wont go past that screen and i cant use the phone at all... Help if you can?
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created. -

However, I'm going to lose all my pictures of my children. I am literally sick about this! I have Icloud but don't believe anything was ever backed up since I was rarely around Wifi. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!Sorry, but the only way to get back into the device is to restore it.
If you do have an iCloud backup (or iTunes backup), you can restore from it once you have the device active again. Without a backup, yes, you are going to loose what is on the device - this sort of unexpected error is exactly why backups are so important and need to be done regularly. -

Calls, messages, photos, apps, and voicemail was all there as if it never happened If you leave it unregistered you don't have to pay for it works for either windows or mac. Hope this helps!

I downloaded ios7 after being asked to restore. But now my phone wont connect to the activation server and is asking to restore again but I cant because itunes does not show any of my phone information (it just shows a blank white screen with "iphone" in the centre".
I imagine a ton of people are attempting to activate after the update, and the server is getting overloaded. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

HELP ME SOMEONE PLEASE ,PLEASEYou can't restore a backup to a phone that is running a version of iOS earlier than the version running when the backup was made. Normaly this situation occurs when replacing a phone, and the eplacement OS is not up to date. The fix is to update the replacement phone, then restore from the backup.
You could try an older backup made with iOS6.
Anyway, why do you need all your info on it while the screen is being fixed?
