Itunes wont work please help me
My itunes wont update because of the quicktime how can i fix it???
Usually when this happens either quicktime is not installed properly OR you have the Qoologic adware on the PC.
So first we will scan the system for adware. A good program for catching the Qoologic adware (Which affects iTUnes) is Ewido. You can download and install it here http://www.ewido.com Just scan the system and if it finds adware, have it remove it.

i have a seagate 1tb hard drive and a 16gb memory stick, how do i transfer avi files from one to another as the click drag and drop wont work, please help?

What happens when you drag it?
Make sure the drive you are moving the files to has enough available space to receive the file:
Click on the movie file and go to File > Get Info and note the "size"
Check the drive to which you are moving the file to make sure it has enough available space: https://idisk.me.com/madisonfile-Public/web/finder-drive-available-space-and-for mat.html
Also note the format of the drive you are copying too. If it is not Mac OS Extended or FAT (not recommended unless you are taking it to a windows computer) then that may be the issue.

Every time i try to open Itunes it says " iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." so i havent been able to download any songs or pics on my new nano i just got. i have tried reenstalling it many times and it still says the same thing what can i do.?

I was able to get iTunes launched (with the help of Tech Support) in a very unsafe environment. I owe it to those who may need this after me. It will get you going, but you will be extremely vulnerable to internet virus assaults. Please do not use this approach, until you have exhausted every other available solution for your issue in the KB.
There are three Steps 1) Uninstall 2) Disble and 3) Reinstall.
UNISTALL Uninstall iTunes using Windows utility Add Remove Program available in Control Panel.
DISABLE Disable all third party System Services and Startup Items using using MSCONFIG utility as described in Service Document http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302538
RE-INSTALL Re-install iTunes6 + QT7. Launch it under the Selective Startup Option.
It worked ! You realize among other things at this point you have your Antivirus and Firewall disabled. When I started my computer in the Normal Startup Option, iTunes fails to work again. So I have ahead of me the long and ardous task of ruling out the service that is causing conflict with iTunes6. Then work with the software vendor to arrive at a solution. -
My itunes wont open, please help me!
For some reason my itunes doesnt open, i click on it and it does what it would normally do, except the itunes window doesnt show up. i completely deleted my itunes then downloaded the newest verison and still, it doesnt work, i have no viruses, ive restarted my computer repeatedly but still nothing. please help, i have a blue ipod chromatic and the songs i currently have in there are old and i want to put some new songs in but i cant do that without my itunes, i also have bearshare, but bearshare works perfectly, its just itunes, please help.

Final Cut Pro 10.0.4 Trial Just wont Work please Help
Ok i have tried everything and this tria just crashes. First of all let me tell you what i have done .
I have deleted all teh preference files.
I have deleted any and all events from my drive
I have run preference manager and deleted all files through that and it still crashes on start up
I have checked and verified my drive permissions
I have repaired my drive permissions and it still crashes
I have created a new account and tried running it and it crashes
I have installed OSX fresh on a new Drive and it still crashes at start up
I have tried changing out my video card and it still crashes
I have even tried installing Lion and the Updates and and it does the exact same thing..
I thought maybe it is because i was running an ATI 4890 But i took that out and put my GEFORCE 8800 back in and it still did the same thing.
I have run every hardware test i can on my machine and it comes up fine.. But this Final Cut Pro Trial crashes at boot up every time
I have never in my life had a problem with my machine or any software until now .. and this is really annoying I wont spend 300 dollars on a program that just doesnt work. .
it gets to the intro screen and says loading compressor support and then hangs for about 2 minutes then just crashes.

Well the internet forums are like that. People with problems are airing them and you only need to see a few complaints to get the impression they are affecting the bulk of users, when in truth it is merely a handful compared with the countless thousands of satisfied customers.
The bulk of problems is due to user error and most of the rest can be credited to conflicts occurring on particular systems.
Manufacturers do get it wrong but most of the time most of the complaints are usually unfounded or unfair.
It sounds as though there are aspects of your setup that are causing the problems.
Some people think that applications should be tested for conflicts before being released.
They are, but the infinite number of permutations of ways a computer and its apps can be set up makes it impossible to test against all eventualities.
Sorry, this isn't directed at you. I'm just airing my thoughts to the world (or at least, this miniscule forum) in general. -
Safari 3.0.4 with upgrade to 10.4.11 wont work, please help me
I am just beside myself. Safari wont work. I have broadband and all is well there with comcast, I've run disk warrior, all is well there. I've run disk first aid to check and verify disk. All well there. I upgraded to OS 10.4.11 from Upgrade on my g5, and safari wont load its face page; it just hangs pale blue highlight over half of this phrase "Go to this address." It wont go to any addy or bookmark I click on. It is like a dead thing
I have tried everything I know. I am just so disappointed in apple. So not understanding what to do. I am not computer saavy and this is such a disaster; this is my computer for my work; I'm a work at home mom.
Please can anyone help me? I read people saying third party things, but I do not know what they mean or what those 3rd party things are by name.

there are many many app supports listed in the applications support folders. Some have zero items, some have several. Where do I start? I used command+I to see info, but for some reason each folder doesnt have info, just date created and modified, and no version number either.

Some of these, most of them, I have no idea what they are. I dont have a Nikon anything; tho one printer I have is a canon, and one is an hp. The New Yorker is I think a large pdf file of images from a commercial New Yorker disk. THe others I am not sure. Some have files inside the folders, some have 0 items.

MY MIDI WONT WORK, PLEASE HELP ME
So i have a Kawai M8000 and using it as a midi to run through logic. It has worked fine for a few months and now decided to stop. I have a midi cable the has a usb on one end then 2 midi cables on the other one says in, and one says out. I plugged the In into the out then the out into the in. It wont work in garageband either and im getting absolute no signal in logic. PLEASE HELP IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE!

If I remember correctly, some of these interfaces are labelled 'strangely': the IN cable goes to the IN socket, the OUT to the OUT socket (and not the other way round as one might expect).
Quick to test: swap the cables round.

ok when i click to open itunes, i get the window asking me whether or not I agree to the Itunes software license agreement. I click agree and then i get an error message stating that "The itunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occured [-48].

Flash player wont work please help
I have flash player installed and recently no videos, for example youtube, will work on ANY browser. I have tried troubleshooting and resetting browsers and nothing has worked, I cant watch any videos, please help!
It looks as if the videos keep restarting 2 or 3 times then crash altogether if that helpsThis is super weird, particularly because the ActiveX (for Internet Explorer), NPAPI (for Firefox) and PPAPI (for Chrome) browsers are all pretty different. This is definitely not the normal pattern.
Does *any* Flash content work? Maybe something old like http://www.homestarrunner.com? My guess is that it doesn't.
I definitely need some more clues:
- Operating System and Version
- Browsers and Versions
- Any anti-virus/anti-malware/firewall/save-flash-video-to-disk kind of stuff installed?
- Any JavaScript blockers or privacy plug-ins that might block JavaScript from executing?
My gut feel says reboot, Uninstall Flash Player | Windows, then download a fresh copy of Flash Player for Firefox and Internet Explorer by using each browser to go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer.

- Make sure the screen is clean
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I really dont understand? Tried to sync my ipad and it kept failing for the first time ever, and now itunes crashes during the transfer of my purchased songs and apps, and now all my apps dont work on the ipad system itself
Try downloading any free app directly on the iPad (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try any of your apps - you can then delete the free app.
You can then re-try syncing. If that doesn't work then a reset of the iPad might help : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
Cannot get itunes to work please help
When I double clik on ITunes it takes ages to start then when i plug my ipod or shuffle in the window opens showing the drive ie. E:\ for my shuffle and i get the following message in itunes " The software required for communicating with the Ipod s not installed correctly. I have uninstalled and re-installed, clean out the registry tried selective startup.
Been without itunes for over a week now any help would be much appreciated.
