Hey ich hab ein Proplem ich kann mein itunes nich mehr von meinem laptop windows 7 deinstallieren immer kommt
"itunesMiniPlayer.resources ist kein gültiger kurzer Dateiname" ich hatte es auf eine externen festplatte gespeichert es geht nicht mehr ich weis nicht was ich tun soll

Has the *Drive Letter* of that WD passport drive changed since the time you did the install? (Having the drive letter shift out from beneath the program files can confuse the registry horribly and produce that message.)

We are implementing ESS Travel Management in 6 language English, German, French, Turkish, Spanish, Portugese
Currently we have maintain the transalation for all language, Homepage Framework display fine in English & German language
For this we have set the JCo language as blank for SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics & SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics
Also browser language based on language we select.
Our Issue is for other remaining language French, Turkish, Portugese If the user login with french language & browser as FR the Homepage Framework give an error in French:(Le groupe de domaines SAPDEFAULTESS_ERP2005 n'existe pas.)
One strange thing I found is the JCo If I check the Jco in preview mode under security I click the language tab there are 2 language maintain in table (EN, DE) If I want to add remaining language in the table from where I can add, is this related to the resource bundle please suggest.
Please let me know what can be the issue.

Hi,
If your homepage framework is working for German language then check if your setting are properly maintain for Area Group Key SAPDEFAULTESS_ERP2005 in French Turkish Portugese..
Solution:Login to system in each language i.e FR, TR, PT
navigate to SPRO>FA>TM>ESS>Homepage FR> select Header & Area Group Pages>
Select Define Area Group Pages > Add Entries> Select the SAPDEFAULTESS_ERP2005 Key check weather the Area Group
Role Text is maintain for FR TR PT if not maintain the translation your problem will be resolved.

External hard drive and errors - 'iTunesMiniPlayer.Resources'

Hi there,
I've got my music installed on an external hard drive. When I got a new iPod for Christmas, and had to start using another computer, I put all of my music onto this external hard drive. When I installed the program, I also installed it on the external hard drive. I'm thinking this may have been one of the reasons, but I'm not sure.
Here's an error message I've been getting from the beginning-
'iTunesMiniPlayer.Resources' is not a valid short file name
Fatal error during installation
It's also told me I should reinstall, but I've tried, and with no success. I'm running off of WINDOWS XP. I've also tried to repair via the program install AND in the control panel, with no success. Tried to uninstall via the control panel, again, no success.
My external drive is labeled E, but I didn't choose that, it's kinda how it comes up automatically.
BNoir, or one of the magical geniuses out there in iTunes land, can you give me some tips? I have a hard enough time opening it regularly, but today I tried to add music that I have on CD, and it won't even recognize it.
Another error message comes up about reinstalling iTunes so that it can get CD information from the internet.

Solved the problem. My external HD is a WD (My Book Studio). I needed to install updated driver manager and this fixed it:

'iTunesMiniplayer.Resources' is not a valid short file name

up until about a month ago i'd used my ipod as a hard drive so i could have iTunes wherever i went. i installed it using my brother's PoS computer (i dunno the specs but it's running windows XP)and it was assigned to drive (F:)
as soon as i got my netbook i saw no need to keep the program installed on the ipod so i deleted it. now he has an ipod and wants to eliminate cds from his life, but there's one problem: the computer still says itunes is installed at (F:) and will not uninstall or repair. about 4 minutes into the 'installation', an error window pops up saying "'iTunesMiniplayer.Resources' is not a valid short file name."
six attempts later the installer pops up and asks where to install. as i go to change the location from (E:) another error window tells me that "'(E:)' is not a valid destination. Please choose a new destination." Clicking ok causes the installer to finish and it too warns me of a 'fatal error during installation' and to try again later. i've been stuck at this point for half an hour.
how do i avoid buying an external disk drive for my netbook to upload his music onto his ipod?

See if the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will get rid of itunes.
Then try the install again.

Hi there, I'm hoping someone out there can help. I've been browsing the forum for an hour and a half now and have not come across a solution for my problem.
I had succesfully downloaded the new version of iTunes but now it will not open on my laptop. I tried downloading again and choosing the repair option but that gives me a lot of crap and then an error message and leaves me in the same situation. Uninstalling is not an option, I get errors claiming missing files are preventing iTunes from being uninstalled. :/
When trying to open iTunes, I get this series of pop-ups:
Please wait while Windows configures iTunes.
---> An error occured while attempting to create the directory: C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesMiniPlayer.Resources\da.lproj
-----> Retry? Cancel?
-----> Retry does nothing. Cancel gives me an error 2330 message. :/
I HAVE tried chkdsk already, are there any other suggestions?

Are you able to rename the da.lproj folder da.lprogOLD, Coff? If so, try launching iTunes again. Does the repair install go through properly (without the error) then?
If you get the error again, try moving up one level and renaming the iTunesMiniPlayer.resources folder iTunesMiniPlayer.resourcesOLD. Launch iTunes again. Does the repair install go through properly then?
(The file damage is causing the repair install to fail to swap out the damaged files. If we rename the directory, the repair install will just put a new directory in, rather than trying to replace any files. So fingers crossed it won't get hung up on the damage and will go through properly.)

English / German language changes

CS6 was installed on my Mac, which is updated to Maverick. Some Headers appear now in English, some in German. Example: "Layers" should be "Ebenen".
Can anyone help?

It is Photoshop CS6, and unfortunately it was bought as a download.
I lost due to a corrupted 8.1 update file my complete Outlook files, included the activation code.
But I was lucky!!!
Following your piece of advice, I re-installed CS6, and because I had a teacher´s version, there was no need to re-activate with a code.
Now all is bright and shiny, many many thanks for your support.

What is iTunesMiniplayer.Resources

ITunesMiniplayer.Resources is the error message I get when I try to download the latest version of iTunes. I have already uninstalled iTunes from my PC. The download appears to be working fine but then it stops and gives me this message and when I click Finish it ends the download.

I cannot install iTunes 8 because I continued to get this 'miniplayer" error message. I also tried removing the iTunes software that did take hold, but becuase of that file iTunesminiplayer.Resources, I cannot remove the program to install an older version. Any ideas before I sell my iPod on eBay because it's useless to me thanks to iTunes Version 8??????
I have already gone through the following lists of fixes that I found online:
Windows XP updates
iPod software updates (why that was reccomended I have no idea)
Re-installing iTunes (did this three times)

See if the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will get rid of itunes.
Then try the install again.

I am in need of some help big time... I had to have my computer replaced. I had Itunes on the computer before. Once I downloaded Itunes it was working okay, then it started telling me itunes was not installed properly and to reinstall, but would still open Itunes. Also it would not bring over the track names from the CDs I have. I did find the information on how to bring it over, but it did not work. So I decided to uninstall and start over. Itunes would not uninstall telling me intunesminiplayer.resources is not a vaild short file name and would not uninstall. So I deleted all of the files and tryied to install it again. It started the install process and stopped telling me itunesminiplayer.resources is not a vaild short file name. So now I am without Itunes all together. I have not had this problem before and have no idea how to fix it. Any help would be great!!! I have itunes on my computer at work and it did not give me any trouble when I downloaded it, but we have windsows 7.

That generally indicates damage to the itunes.msi for your existing installation of iTunes, Nite.
These sorts of msi-related troubles have gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for *at least version 3.0* of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes 9.2 again. Does the install go through properly this time?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

I was having problems launching iTunes from my desktop shortcut (from a Western Digital external drive). For some unidentified reason, my computer now recognizes this drive as G: instead of F:. To fix the shortcut, I opened up iTunes directly from the drive. I got an iTunes Setup Assistant message that says "Warning! iTunes was not properly installed. If you want iTunes to be able to retrieve CD information from the Internet, you need to reinstall iTunes. When I tried to uninstall iTunes using "Programs and Features" I get an error message, saying ""iTunesMiniPlayer.Resources" is not a valid short file name". To see if the problem was with the drive, I disconnected it and tried to download iTunes (from Apple.com) to my C: drive. (Local Disk). The same error occurred. Windows has a nasty habit of reassigning drive letters on you when different USB devices are plugged in. The easiest thing might be to assign F: to your exHD permanently. Restart your PC afterwards and try itunes again.

Hi,
Da meine Festplatte kaputt war, habe ich mir eine neue eingebaut, WinXP installier usw..
Habe dann anscheinend den Fehler gemacht iTunes auf eine meiner externen Festplatten zu installieren, die ebenfalls kaputt ging.
Als ich also iTunes auf meinen Rechner installieren wollte, bekam ich die Meldung das iTunes schon vorhanden sei und ob ich es entfernen oder reparieren möchte. Ich habe erst reparieren versucht und als das nicht ging entfernen.
Beide Male bekam ich die selbe Fehlermeldung:
"iTunesMiniPlayer.Resources" ist kein gültiger kurzer Dateiname.
Kann mir jemand sagen wie ich das Problem lösen kann???

Larrouse English-German doesn't work with IOS 7?

After update to IOS 7.02 the Larrouse English-German do not work any more. It was working with early versions

I reset my Motorola S11 Flex to factory settings and it works just fine now. To do that, make sure the head phones are off. Press the power button and multi-function button and the lady in the head phones will talk to you..the first option is to reset to factory settings. Do this and it will work. Hoped this helped
