ITunesSetup_exe (1) couldn't be downloaded

I cannot download itunes to my PC running a 32 bit version of Vista. I have already unistalled all iTunes programs except the mobile one as instructed by support. I have also checked my temp files as instructed by support (they were empty) This is the second day that I have tried to download the iTunes program, and I get brought to the thank you download complete screen and I have no program, just a bar on the bottom of the screen reading iTunesSetup_exe (1) couldn't be downloaded. I click retry, it says the same thing. I click cancel, it pops back up. I view downloads and cancel or close and it pops back up, but it will not install. I have also checked my pop-up blocker, and the issue is elsewhere. If anyone has suggestions, I'd appreciate hearing them. Thank you!

I have exactly the same issue. Tries all those things too inlcuding turning off my firewall. No luck same message each time

I actually had started on this before your post but you are right. My luck created some issues but after I got around that it worked. I uninstalled everything in the order it needed to. While I was doing this windows had an update. When I restarted something must have went wrong with the update and it crashed on the start up. took me a while to restore it but when I was done it brought back the programs in their damaged state.
So I did the uninstall process again. restarted. and reinstalled and it all works now.

For those reading this the order to uninstall goes as:
iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, Apple Application Support, iCloud, and finally MobileMe. Skip over any you don't have installed. Then Restart then reinstall itunes.

I can no longer create a PDF. The response is Acro.Rd32.exe couldn't be downloaded.

2. What OS you have
3. What anti-virus application you have installed
4. Did you see any other error messages?
5. Have you tried to download Adobe Reader XI from www.adobe.com?

Are you on a managed network. If yes, then try connecting to some alternate network source and try installing again.

Tyler: It wasn't just Firefox but also other .exe files that I couldn't download in IE9. Not sure what happened, I used to be able to do this but some update must have killed this. I've had some weird problems for the past 3 days.
I just bypassed IE9 by using Google Chrome that I had installed. This ran the Firefox download and install with no problems. So I'm set.
I don't know what happened to my IE9 but I think I'll stick with Firefox for now.

When I sync, I get a warning message that some files couldn't be downloaded because of an error. How do I trash them and redownload. These are purchased items and I don't want to lose them

When I sync my ipod, I get an error message telling me some files couldn't be synced. I think the files must be damaged somehow and I'd like to redownload them. When I go into purchased at the itunes store, I can't reload them because it says they're already downloaded. I tried deleting them from the playlist, but that doesn't solve it because they still come up as downloaded.

Control click does not work - no option to find files. I have no idea what to do. When I look at the usage of the external drive the space is being used, but I cannot find the files. I am going to try MacKeeper's Undelete and see if I can make any progress with it.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Why couldn't I download 8.0 without restoring?

When I attempted to download the update today, my phone power cycled and then the symbol with the charger pointing to "iTunes" logo came on the screen. I got out of bed grumbling and downloaded iTunes and then was told that my phone must be "restored" and I effectively lost ALL of my photos, messages, and everything from the last year. I want to use applet to call the IE' file download box which does the csv download job.
Here is my idea:
First, click the menu of applet to call the servlet
Scecond,call the IE file download box by this servlet invoked by the applet.
The following code snippets intend to show the file download dialog:

unfortunately, the box didn't show!!!:-(
One thing can be clear that with the IE or NetScape supported ,the file download dialog can be raised by writing the code above.
I wanna make two things clear:
No1:Is it true the file download box is part of function of the browser?

it happens with the keyboard disconnected. I was surprised it booted up without going through the user screen so I didn't have to enter my password.
and on another note, I'm sure it's obvious, but how do I boot up from my external drive with my imac? the other day when I was having serious issues while trying to fix this problem, I was unable to boot from my install disc
