ITunesSetup.exe fails to start
I am trying to install iTunes 9.1.1 while running Windows XP with SP3. Every time I try to run iTunesSetup.exe I get this message: "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." I've tried reinstalling and I still get the same error message. What now?
"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."
That's unusual in this context.
Related issues when trying to launch iTunes and QuickTime can be caused by issues with the .NET framework on a PC, so it might be worth trying the following document (even though it's about a different issue):
[iTunes for Windows: "iTunes was not installed properly. Please reinstall iTunes" message|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3074]
If you update or repair your .NET framework, does the iTunes installer behave itself or do you still get the same sort of error message?

AppleSyncNotifier.exe failed to start
I have iTunes installed on my laptop with Vista Ultimate. I also have Registry Booster 2010 installed for about one month now.
Recently, every time I start my box I receive a message that AppleSyncNotifier.exe failed to start.
I look in Services but don't see a service for AppleSyncNotifier. The only Apple services listed are Apple Mobile Device, Bonjour Service, iPod Service.
MSCONFIG Startup tab does not list AppleSyncNotifier.exe as a startup program.
I tried re-installing latest version ( downloaded from Apple website ) of iTunes with the repair option but it did not solve the problem.
Any help much appreciated.
Message was edited by: johnagrandyI hope it doesn't effect how I down load my itunes to my ipod and iphone.
No you should be fine. (The MobileMe service is being shut down, anyway, so there should be no impact at all.) -
I installed the latest iTunes update from Apple on my PC. I then received an error when launching iTunes that I the "APSDAEMON.exe was unable to locate component. ...Failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found".
During install, I got a message that itunes install was complete nut then I got a message that "itunes not installed correctly. Error 7 (windows error 126). Another error message received was "service 'apple mobile device' failed to start. verify you have sufficient privileges to start system.services.
At this point, iTunes icon is on my desktop but cannot launch iTunes.
Need help!Solving MSVCR80 issue and Windows iTunes install issues.

Solving MSVCR80 issue and Windows iTunes install issues.
If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:

You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process. -
HTTP Service/Apache.exe failing to start
Hi. I am running the following:
- Oracle9i Database Release 1 (9.0.1.1.1) for Windows Platforms
- Oracle9i Application Server Release 1 (v1.0.2.2.2a) for Windows NT/2000
When I try to start the HTTP Server Service, I get the following:
"Could not start the <OracleHome>HTTPServer service on Local Computer. The service did not return an error. This could be an internal Windows error or an internal service error.
When I try to launch Apache.exe, I get the following in the event viewer:
"The Apache service named <OracleHome>\Apache\Apache\Apache.exe reported the following error:
Invalid command 'ApJServGroup', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration <<< before the error.log file could be opened.""The Apache service named <OracleHome>\Apache\Apache\Apache.exe reported the following error:
Syntax error on line 155 of e:/oracle/ora90/apache/jserv/conf/jserv.conf: <<< before the error.log file could be opened."The system cannot find the file specified: RegQueryValueEx(key System\CurrentControlSet\Services\<OracleHome>HTTPServer\Parameters) <<<
before the error.log file could be opened.
Does anybody have any ideas? I tried to comment out line 155 just to see, but it then just failed on one of the next lines. Is there some kind of a version conflict when trying to read the command "'ApJServGroup'"?
Thanks!
ToddTeam Folder in the past was managed by administrators. Administrator can create, edit, delete team folders. The team folder can be published to a group of users, including Active Directory group. It is very convenient to share files and folders with a group of users in the same team. As team groups bigger, it may not be convenient for administrator to manage all the team folders. So it makes sense for administrator to assign some users to be able to manage team folder that they own themselves. Role Manager It usually starts with the role manager by creating a role with Add/Edit/Delete permissions and assign it to users or Active Directory groups. Manage Team Folder The user who are in the private team folder role will be able to manage team folders without seeing all the team folders from everyone. Here is a YouTube Video about...

I would like to know what i need to do to get the program to run again. i have not been able to locate a way to reinstall the program it says i need to have to run the program
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Everytime I turn on my computer running on Windows XP, a message appears from AppleSynchNotifier.exe - Unable to Locate Component -
"This application has failed to start because CoreFoundation.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
I uninstalled and re-installed itunes and the message still appears.
How do I fix this??
Thank youWith that one, first try uninstalling and reinstalling your MobileMe Control Panel for Windows, robin. Does that make the error go away?

My iTunes will not start. The box on the error message APSDaemon.exe, And message says "This application failed to start because MSVC80.dll was not found. Reinstalling may fix." I did the reinstall and I get the same error. The error first happened after I approved the an iTurns update.
Same problem today. Took five times to reinstall without any error messages. Apple has posted a way to fix and you should follow their's first. I finally got to upldate correctly by doing their fix but with one difference. I did the following:
1) Went to the C:\program files (x86)\iTunes and C:\program files\iTunes folders and moved every file ending in .dll to the desktop (even if two files in same location had the same name, just replace)
2) Restarted computer and still got error message
3) Uninstalled all apple programs possible in the following order......itunes, apples software update, apple mobile device support, bonjour, and apple application support.....all performed using the microsoft control panel
4) put all the .dll files on the desktop in the trash and emptied (this is a step apple support did not specifically put in their fix but for a final try I wanted to delete everything apple).
5) Restarted computer.
6) Re-installed itunes from apple website
No error messages during re-install and was able to open shortcut in one try. Even updated my ipad to make sure everything was working. -
Error Message "ElementsAutoAnalyzer.exe unable to locate. This application failed to start because ExtendedScript.dll was not found".
This error message is seen every time when first starting Windows Vista, PRIOR to starting Photoshop Elements 12.1
It does not seem to interfere with the normal operation of Photoshop Elements, but it is a constant annoyance.try removing all itunes and all other apple program

Windows failed to start. winload.exe corrupt
Been having a few problems with my Equius so decided to boot, do F8, and do a toshiba system restore.
Started up, and began formatting the disk. All of a sudden it blue screened.
Trouble is now I cant even boot that far to get the recovery/restore option. I get :-
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the
cause. . .
File: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Status:0xc000000f
Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is
missing or corrupt.
Not sure how it all works but I assume the recovery stuff is stored on a separate partition. Trouble is I guess you need to be able to start to load windows before you can even get to this?
I've downloaded and tried a vista boot recovery disk with no joy, and of course, toshiba dont supply a vista disk. How on earth do I recover from this situation?Hello
At first I must say that I cannot understand why you didnt write which Equium do you have exactly?
Such info is always good for better understanding and discussion.
So, if recovery media was not delivered I think you have newest notebook model. Recovery media is not delivered with new notebooks and it must be created using preinstalled "Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator". This software is preinstalled on all new Vista notebook. it can happen that people don't think about it and because of that Toshiba has designed small reminder with follow content:
+*Important INFORMATION*+
+*your system is equipped with hard disk recovery system. If you need to repair*+
+*your computer by restoring it to original factory state, you can do it directly*+
+*from harddisk (press F8 when you boot your computer, choose "Repair your computer"*+
+*and follow the menue instructions) or create a bootable Recovery Disc Medium for this purpose.*+
+*Toshiba recommends you to create Recovery Disc Medium using the "Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator"*+
+*to ensure that you are able to restore your computer to the original factory installed state, even if your computer gets seriously damaged.*+
So now the question: Have you seen this reminder? Have you ignored it? Have you started preinstalled OS at the first day?
What you have done exactly?
Sorry for all those questions but lot of people make big mistake: they don't even start preinstalled Vista and install WXP immediately.
On this way you will not be able to create recovery DVD and you will also loose F8 option to install Vista from HDD.
To be honest I don't know why this thread was posted under WXP category. As I wrote before after WXP installation on new notebooks you will not be able to use F8 and HDD recovery option.
So if you want good answer please explain to us exactly which notebook model do you have and what you have done in the past.
Bye my friend. Just stay cool we will find some solution or good explanation why this happen
Have a nice day. -
My operating system is Windows XP SP3. I have Adobe 11.0.08 installed. I cannot print a pdf file/document. Error message - AeroRd32.exe - Unable To Locate Component - "Application failed to start because lxdautil.dll not found." Any suggestions?
That DLL is part of your printer driver; reinstall or update the device driver for your printer, and the message should go away.

Windows failed to start. Could not load file Windows\System32\winload.exe
My friend tried to recover his laptop by using the recover button u can do from (controlpanel) and systems. It failed and when I try to start his laptop it says the typically Windows failed to start, \Windows\system32\winload.exe. Status:0xc000000f.
If it was my own laptop and if it was a desktop I would just make a clean installation. Delete all partitions and install new windows. But his laptop got these ones........
disk 0 partition 1 200 mb system
disk 0 partition 2 227,7gb all free, primary
disk0 unallocated space 194 gb all free
disk 0 partition 3: lenovo 29gb 8mb free, LOGICAL
disk 0 partition 4:LENOVO_PART 14 gb 3.3free OEM (reserved)
Im afraid he got 2 harddrives a hdd and a sdd for windows. Im not sure and this looks like **bleep** to my eyes.
So if I could prevent deleting all partions and do a normal recovery it would be great.
SO I found this and I dont know if its what I should do. coderforlife
But when I type the things in command it doesnt work.
SO guys what should I do? DOnt wanna destroy his laptop cause he needs to use it at saturday.
Best regards Niklas
Btw im not sure if the thread is in the right place. Let me know
