ITV HELP!!!!

Hello, Can Someone Help Me PLEASE!!! I just bought one of those monster cables from Apple to allow you to connect your Ipod to your TV so you can view it on TV when you want too!
My question is, I would like to view it and be able to record my shows to dvd at the same time, but I can't figure out how to or where to plug it in to be able to record - can anyone help????
If it makes a difference I have a Directv DVR and a VHS/DVD Recorder!

Thanks for your help! I figured it out! I messed around with it and I plugged the cords into the outlet on the front and finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I wasn't switching the channel to line 2 or something!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
There are hardware converters that will convert HDMI to various other types of output, however there are some issues with doing so that you should be aware of.
HDCP
HDCP compliant converters will not allow you to watch HDCP protected content such as that from the iTunes Store. Non compliant converters exist but we cannot discuss them under the Terms of Use for these communities.
Resolution and aspect ratio
I'm not aware of any converters that will scale the output from the Apple TV, any TV or projector which is used will need to be widescreen and support resolutions of 720p.

Help with itv player appt

I want to download the app for itv player but i dont know how, can someone help me please?

I am also trying to get this to work on my Passport (to watch the TdF of course!) I am trying to download the ITV player app for android from Google, but it is stuck because my phone isnt associated with Google play, or something like that - and no clear way to resolve this. ( Is it me or is the whole Google thing needlessly, annoyingly, complex and precious.) Would be keen to find a way round this too..

I have installed snow leopard and now can't watch BBC or ITV iplayers. Any help?

Depending how you did the installation, you may still have Flash, but it will need updating to the latest version (not least for security reasons).

I'll write here too as this is the first time I've done this too. I'm new to ipad and I'm having trouble with icons appearing on my ipad after I have downloaded them. These are all tv based -sky go app, iplayers and on demand. I have installed them previously but since then there are no icons on my ipad to select. When I follow the link to the App Store to download, the 'free' tab or the price tab cannot be selected. Please help

I have been told to update my ITV player app. When I attempt this I am continually referred to terms and conditions. There is nowhere to indicate that I agree so that I can update the ITVPlayer. Never happened before. Help?

I Have been told to update my ITVPlayer App as Apple has made some improvements. Problem is that when I attempt this by clicking on the UPDATE button as usual, I find myself referred to terms and conditions which are then sent to me via email. ITVPlayer is an integral part of my iPad. I have not had this problem before. There is nowhere on the endless dense terms and conditions for me to indicate agreement which would presumably then allow me to open the new and improved ITVPlayer App! How do I agree to terms and upgrade the ITVPlayer?

It is up to the content owner as to when, and if, specific content is available on itunes (or any outlet for that matter). Very often a network or production compnat willhave exclusive deals with streaming outlets for a period of time before a seaon of a series is available elsewhere.
I can't speak to most of the shows you reference, but in the case of The Americans, there has only been one season so far. Season two isn't schedule for broadcast until February of next year.

BT Vision Box Not Receiving ITV or CH4?

Hello. I've joined this forum for the purposes of attempting to resolve a problem that my parents are having with their BT Vision Box.
They are very happy with the system in general, but recently my mother has been unable to watch/record ITV very often. She has tried re-scanning for channels, but this simply lost several channels from the tv guide altogether.
Now I realise that atmospherics sometimes play havoc with freeview, but the reason I am perplexed is that my Panasonic tv upstairs (with inbuilt digital reciever) has almost no trouble recieving these channels, bar the odd blip or two.
Yesterday was case in point when I could watch Doc Martin in perfect quality, and downstairs could see literally nothing. Progarm unavailiable. Channel 4 was the same, though it was at least a static broken image on the BT Vision Box, and not just a black screen.
We had a digital ariel installed about 6 years ago (at some cost) which both our televisions run off (theirs through the Vision Box, as their tv does not have built-in digital tuner). The cableing is up to date aswell, and we have some kind of booster attachment aswell (though the guy who installed the ariel insisted it wasn't a booster, but we need it plugged in to get a signal).
So in conclusion, why can't the BT Vision Box recieve channels from the same ariel as my television, that has no problem getting them?

I think someone conned you somewhere along the line.
It sounds very much like a booster to me.
Also the wind ought to have no effect on your aeriel. (note not ariel that's for your washing machine )
It really does sound like an aerial issue to be honest and maybe it would be worth getting someone to look at it.
If you take the downlead out of this box can you plug the aerial in to the TV?

New to bt - vision replay help needed

Hello to you all i'm new to bt.
I recently purchased the £17.99 phone, tv, & broadband package. This package was meant to include free & unliimited access to vision replay. Problem is i'm unable to get bbc iplayer programs at all, & it wants to charge me for itv & 4od content!!!. Can anyone here please help me out?, have tried calling the helplines & have got nowhere fast with them. There's only so many times i can cope with pulling out & reconnecting cables (at their request in a day.

I understand that replay is not available with this package now, but during the month of October bt's website was definitely offering replay as part of this package!. Clearly it must've been a one time deal, but this is the package i ordered - but not the one i've received. As i said before, i still have the transcript in my email from the online advisor confirming this. Purchasing this package all hinged on the free replay offer (to save from using the pc for catch up services), & i'm feeling rather conned if bt aren't going to honour this fact.
Is there a helpline number where i'll be able to speak with an English customer operator?, as i'm just going round & round in circles with the Indian operators.

Have you tried deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-trying the photo sync and see if they all then copy over (you need to select and sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go, as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad) ? Don't know about the Facebook photo emailing, but there are a number of apps that allow to upload photos to their site (e.g. the 'official' Facebook app).
(For future info, typing all in capitals is considered SHOUTING - you are more likely to get help/responses if you don't.)

Why won't my iPod touch 4t generation let me watch any videos( itv player, 4od, YouTube, Facebook )

Previously it all worked, even after my iOS update, however recently these program's have stopped me playing videos YouTube saying playback error and itv saying connection error and 4od just freezes at the first advert straight away, I have tried refreshing it,restarting it and shutting it down as well as closing every app and deleting apps then re installing them but nothing works!! I cannot use ITV player, it says I need to turn off ad blocking - how do I do this? It only began after latest update of Firefox installed.

I have tried to watch programmes on ITV player, which I have successfully done in the past, but now it tells me it cannot find the video and that I need to turn off ad blocking on my computer. I went into options, but could not find anything about ad blocking. I added www.itv.com to the exceptions list for pop up windows, but this has not helped. The problem only began after the latest update of Firefox was installed. I have never had any problem before. How can I get ITV player back, please.

my program in level 2 should :
a.) Allow the user to specify certain criteria for a room that they wish to book on a particular day. e.g. X number of people, video conferencing, your program should find an appropriate room for them that is free on that day.
b.) Allow the user to add more rooms to the system and make these available to the user to book.
c.) Allow a user to attempt to delete a room. The room will only be deleted if it has no bookings.
d.) Allow the user to ask the system to find the minimum fit room free e.g.
* the smallest room to hold X people that has a connection to the internet.
* if the user requests a room for 40 people and there are rooms free for 50 and 60 people, then
it will allocate them the room for 50.

The important thing is to put the related functionality in the class Room and not everywhere in the class CC.
The types of the data member in the class Room are also very important to reflect exactly what they should store.

Apple iTV?

I have a question for one or multiple Apple iEmployees:
Will there be an Apple iTV? I'm not talking about the TV Box Apple makes, but I'm talking about the Siri-powered television with a screen and speakers and all that. Apple is literally my life. If I could afford a MacBook Pro, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, a Magic Trackpad, and triple 27" LED Cinema Displays. Anticipating the new Apple products (Q1, I anticipate the iPad, Mid-to-end-Q3/Q4 I anticipate the new iPod line and the new iPhone product) is one of my favorite things to do. All of my Apple products I put down are Apple products that a person in my family currently owns/has owned (in this house), but the Dell, AST, and iPod touch are all mine. I purchased them. And so my big question that I have had since Steve Jobs "moved on" was, "Will there be a Siri/Voice Activated Apple TV with a screen and speakers?"
If you have been authorized by your boss (if you are an Apple iEmployee), please give the full and honest truth. If you are not authorized by your boss or really have no knowledge of it, please say you have no idea. If you know for a fact and have proper permission to say that there will be no object of what I'm talking about, please say that.
Apple is the best thing that happened to Earth. I just wish the prices were a little lower. (I am a student so I get money off of every purchase! Yay me!)

Contact with Apple iTV

Mine iPad 3 cannot manufacture a contact with Apple iTV. I would like to have a series film run of iPad on the TV. Only the tone, a picture does not come! All updates are installed!
