Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium will not Reinstall: Says Serial Number is not "Valid"

Chat support has been no help. I uninstalled Creative Suite 6 because I was having issues with some of the software and hoped that a reinstall would solve the problem. Now the software will not reinstall. It takes me to the validation screen where it asks for the serial number and says "We are unable to validate this serial number for CS6 Design and Web Premium. Please contact customer service," when i type the serial number in. I have now gone through THREE chat sessions with "customer support" in which they have sent me a link to download the same program, and it would not reload because of the serial number, and then have walked me TWICE through a multitude of tasks that have not solved the problem. They keep asking me the same questions again and again, ignore my own questions to them, and cannot give me any information that actually helps. The phone system will not support Creative Suite. I NEED this software to reload as I've already missed one publishing deadline and will miss another if I cannot use this software, which, at the moment, seems to be a $350 coaster.
This is the same disc I used to install the software originally. I installed it on my old laptop and used it there without incident until my new laptop came (a period of about two months). I then Uninstalled the software from the old lap top and installed it on the new one, again, without incident. When I found that the icons for switching between tools in Photoshop and Illustrator were so small I could not see them, and they seemingly could not be adjusted within the program, I uninstalled the software, and at this point is when the software would not reinstall on the same computer it was on in the first place. My software is official, on a physical disc, and registered to my account with Adobe. What do I do? I just opened this press five months ago, and I cannot justify a Creative Cloud membership with the amount of work I'm actually putting out at the moment, and especially not with the terrible customer service I have been receiving so far.

If you never deactivated, and neither did they, then that is likely to be a reason for not being able to activate again. Contact them thru chat and ask them to reset your activations.

CS6 Design and Web Premium trial has stopped downloading at 4,558 MB

My CS6 Design and Web Premium trial has stopped downloading at 4,558 MB. It says it will take around 24 hours to download, but nothing is happening. Has anyone else had a problem with this? How do I get it going again?

The default location is your User folder I believe this is what you are referring to as your home folder? Your user folder should be the correct folder to download to.
You can also try the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

Where can i download CS5 Design and Web Premium

does anyone know or have a link to where i can download CS5 Design and Web Premium my install cd is scratched and had to reformat hard drive. everything i find that says is cs5 actually links to cs6. any help would be greatly appreciated i really need the software install for school. thank you in advance-Dave B

if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com

Trying to install CS 6 Design and Web Premium Trial.

So upon trying to install the trial of this software (while I wait the 2 weeks for the box of it to be shipped to me) I receive an error code thing after having downloaded and installed it.
It only installed ~50% of the programs (Fireworks, Dreamweaver, AIR for Apple iOS Support, Acrobat X Pro) and the following failed installing: InDesign, Flash Professional, Photoshop Extended, Illustrator.
I'm in no way a code junkie or anything of the nature, I barely understand HTML coding as it is. But I was able to get an error summary:

If anyone could help me with this it would be VERY helpful! As I would love being able to use this software and get a feel around it before I finally receive my full version in 2 weeks.

I am using version 10.7.4 of OS X Lion.
I have a 2010 Macbook Pro, with 8 GB of DDR3 1066MHZ Ram.
As per the Root User enabling, I am the ONLY user of this Mac, and only account on it. I attempted to enable it using your support link, however, I got stuck at step 9: "Choose Enable Root User from the Edit menu." as there was not this option for me in any of the tabs for the Directory Utility window. However, when I go to the directory editor I has a little text on the top right that says "Authenticated as Root" with a little lock icon unlocked.

Since yesterday each time I start PS6 I get a splash screen that my trial of Design and Web Premium expires in 29 days. My license code for CS6 is not recognized. However, I can use PS6 normally, once I get rid of the splash screen. What should I do?

I have been given this link by Adobe after purchasing the Design and Web Premium. I have been able to download 2GB of the 4.5GB of the file 1 of 2 from this link in the English version for Windows.

again, if you repeatedly lose connectivity make sure you're using a wired, not wireless connection or use a more stable wireless connection.
or you could use a download manager that allows you to continue downloads when they are interrupted.

Cs6 design and web premium trial

I have for the last few days been prompted when I open up Photoshop, to take a trial of Cs6 Design and Web Premium. I own CS6 right now,
the last available package before one needed to purchase it on the Cloud.
I don't know why I am required to sign on to this trial to use the package I own. How can I get rid of this offer?

Design and Web Premium creates huge profile for each network user.

Just wondering how I can get around the Adobe Design and Web Premium creating a huge profile for each network user. When a new user logs in on the network a 6 GB Adobe Design and Web Premium folder is created in their profile. With dozens of students logging into each machine that equals dozens of 6GB folders.

Uninstall the serial-number LR5, the one you have installed, now, then quit the CC Desktop application (gear/quit or right-click quit), then restart the CC Desktop application, which will rescan and see that LR is no longer installed, and will offer LR in the CC Desktop apps list with an Install button next to it, so install that version.

I have a Windows 8.1 system, I am trying to use the link that customer support gave me earlier to download CS6 Design and Web premium. I did the 1hour and 40 minute downlaod but when i try the second download file it says not all file wre archive. Anyone

you need files 1 of 2 and 2 of 2, an exe and a 7z. download both, place both in the same directory and double click the exe.

Is it worth downloading CS6 Design and Web Premium when it states it will take 7 hours to download?

I have problems trying to get the download to start. It keeps saying there is an error or too busy.
I am also getting adverts to buy before I have even been able to download or try the program.
Is there a free program that does similar without all the problems this one has to even get started?

That is far too generic a question and it fails completely because you are not telling peopel exactly what you are trying to do. D&W Premium is a suite of 7 or 8 products plus various auxiliary apps and components and while there may be alternatives for some, not everything you could do with the suite can be done with free alternatives...

CS6 Design and Web Premium trial download ALWAYS freezes

The download ALWAYS stops at 480,704KB when I check the file size in Windows Explorer. I'm using Windows 7 Ulitmate. I'm also download the file into a folder on my own desktop and my account has administrator access. Inside the ADA it says "9 minutes" remaining, but nothing is happening. The download has stopped.
If I press the pause button and then press it again to resume it does nothing. If I press the X button it deletes the file from ADA and I can start the process over again but it will ALWAYS stop downloading at 480,704KB. What gives??
