ive followed all the hints on your website i still cannot save any new bookmarks, i have a new mac book pro, worked fine no doesnt save bookmarks, verrrrrry annoying!

I personally would suggest the option to save your iTunes library to an external drive -- because it creates an important backup, and copies the library to your new computer.

This option requires more work than Home Sharing, but it creates a backup of your iTunes library on the external drive in addition to moving your content.
Windows operating systems don't recognize Mac OS-formatted disks (HFS or HFS Plus formats). Because of this, you can't use a Mac-formatted iPod or external drive to move your music to a Windows PC.
Mac OS X can read Windows-formatted iPods and drives. This means there are many ways to migrate your information from your old Windows-based PC to your new Mac.
Mac OS X: To be sure external drives appear on your desktop, choose Preferences from the Finder menu. Be sure the options for "External disks" and "Hard disks" are enabled.

I am need of help! I have had this issue for a while now and it's becoming frustrating.
My iTunes installed on my HP Windows 8 Netbook is unable to recognize my iPod, the error message along the lines of "iTunes has detected an iPod but unable to recognise"

So just close iTunes and re-open iTunes thats it and that worked for you?
When you say reset your settings do you mean to factory settings? As my iPod was swapped at the store for a new one and the problem is still there...

i cant connect to wifi but my laptop can and my other phones can.ived done all the recommendations in ipad support but still cant connect..what else shall i do?
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

We have a new iPad Mini, and I'm having inconsistent results using Bookmarks in the Safari icon.
For a long time, on the iPad, I could only see five items under the Bookmark icons and the Bookmarks Bar was empty.
Occasionally, in Safari, the iPad would pick up and display all of the Bookmarks from the Safari browser on my iMac.
Other times, there are only a bare few Bookmarks available on the iPad, the Bookmarks Bar goes away and I cannot save a new Bookmark. It looks like I can save one, but I cannot find it after allegedly saving.
Then, all of the Bookmarks will come back and I can save a new Bookmark again. We can't figure out why all of the Bookmarks will show and then they won't.
I want to think this involves iCloud some way, but for right now, I'm stumped. Perhaps we're just too inexperienced and haven't come around the learning curve yet.

SteveNo, I see the three areas at the bottom of the Bookmark area that you refer to, but that also highlights an issue. When I want to save a story to my Reading List and click on Share then "Add to Reading List" then go back to look at what is stored in the Reading List, my recently-saved item is not there.
I looked thru the History tab and the Reading List tab and have been in the Bookmark tab. But even when I Save a Bookmark, that newly-saved Bookmark does not show up in the Bookmark area.
But then again, the next day (and actually just in the last half-hour) all of the functionality came back. When I look at the Bookmarks, suddenly, again, all of the Bookmarks that are on my Safari browser on my iMac are now there, and I can now Save a Bookmark.
It keeps coming in and out and that is what is driving me a little nuts.

I have tried to restart a download of a movie from iTunes following all previous instructions but nothing s happening? Anyone got any other tips please?
1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo.
3. Make sure you connect charger to wall socket. -

I am afraid that the solution did not work... the ipod touch of mine seems really not functioning. It receives an electric isgnal from the computer but it doesnt sync at all... Whenever I put my ipod touch off and plug it to my computer it turns on but it doesnt sync... .. Moreover, I have used different PCs so as to try it syncing.. I have used mac book pro and windows 7 laptops but it gives similar feedback, which is NO FEEDBACK at all...

Do you have a card reader to use to download them?
Once you get the photos off the memory card you need to use your camera's format command to erase andreformat the memory card

The Sad face icon is usually a very good indication of a hardware malfunction or failure usually with the iPod's Hard Drive, which would also explain the loud clicking noise you are hearing.

I no longer have access to my Primary email address so I can't change the password on iCloud or on my iPhone. The secondary email address have also been changed as I have been with Apple from day one and Apple 3. I can't format the phone I can back it up to new ITunes ID but can't restore it. Here we are now back to the original ID and password problem . How do I get rid of the old ID and Password ? Change to Samsung ?

On the start page it said that I needed to update Firefox to the latest version. So I clicked on update and followed all the steps. I clicked to save to desktop, but there is no icon there and when I go to the start page, it keeps saying that I need to update Firefox to the latest version. Also when I try to play my games at Pogo.com, it says I have a pop-up blocker on and the games will not load. How do I get rid of this? Can't find a pop-up blocker in my tool bars. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
