If that's what you want by the time the call reaches the phone it is too late. Only a carrier can provide a block that never reaches your phone. Most carriers offer this as a service, sometimes for a monthly fee.
Another alternative is to use a service like Google Voice. As a virtual carrier they have a block capability. Instead of giving people your cell number you give them your Google Voice number. It is free for incoming calls. -

I accidentally changed a setting on my ipod touch and now it won't change back. I have had my ipod for more than two years and i dont know what to do. If i go to the apple store, would they fix it, or would i need to get a new one? If it could be fixed, how much would it cost?
If it is still under warranty you can call the 800 number to apple and enter the serial number and it will tell you if it is under warranty or not if not its like $30 basically for them to help or something like that it said today when i called...
Or take it to a genius bar if you have one near?

I have had this happen before. However, there was a moment when my computer froze and a series of thoughts happened and things happened with my computer. I thought for some reason that with my computer freezing right after I connected my iPod that my computer didn't recognize the fact that my iPod was connected. So I know what needs to be done to fix this porblem. My question is can I fix this at home or do I need to go into an Apple store to get it fixed? When this happened before, I had tried a couple different things before taking it in and nothing had worked.
You need a computer with iTunes and an internet connection
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Contact Apple support for assistance: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/. If your phone is new you should still be within the free support window. You will need your serial number to set up the call, which you will find on your phone in Settings>General>About.

Leave the iPhone alone for a minute and go to your PC/Mac. Try and set up the Apple ID on there (again leaving the iPhone to sit and look pretty for a while). Check your emails (not on the iPhone) and see if you are receiving the email into your inbox that way, if you aren't make sure you have put the correct email address in the App store. If you are definitley sure you are putting the correct email address in go to the web interface for your email provider (e.g. hotmail or yahoo) and check the junk mail folders etc.
Do all the above whilst the iPhone is sat around, don't do any of the above on the iPhone. If you manage to crack it and get the email address verified and your account up and running just log in to the App Store on your iPhone once it's all done -

Nothing, but I would back up all that music to an external drive first.

Syncing an iphone to an old backup - what will happen?

My laptop got stolen a few weeks ago, i've replaced it with a new MBP, and fortunatley I done a full backup at xmas time, so my computer is just like it was on the 23rd of December 2011. However, my iphone has a ton of new photos, music and playlists on it since that date.
Now I want to keep all these tracks, playlists and photos, but i don't no how to go about it.
If i plug it in to the MBP now, won't itunes back sync and delete all the new stuff?
How do i go about keeping the recent stuff on my iphone?

Got my refurbed iphone and got a probem
Okay so my first iphone hold switch stopped working and I went over to rogers and got a replacement refurb. Now everything works well but now the back is loose with the front and there is a space between my screen and the chrome on the front and there's actually LCD light shinning through the space and it is very visible both in the light and dark.
I'm just wondering if I can go into an apple store and they will replace on the spot or if I can once again go into Rogers and get a replacement?
Also is this issue worth Rogers/Apples time and will they consider my complaint since it bothers me a lot?

You can transfer the purchases you made on your old iPhone 3 by plugging it in to iTunes and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases from your IPhone to the iTunes on your computer. This will get music you purchased in iTunes, apps, etc. (e.g., movies).
But for the rest you would need to restore a backup of your newly deceased computer. -
I have got a Activation Lock on my iPhone and I need to get it activated. I don't know what Apple ID I was using with my iPhone. It shows as U***@h******.uk which is too short to be my email address. I have reset all my Apple ID passwords and none are activating my iPhone. You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.

Firefox also makes regular backups of your bookmarks in a folder named bookmarkbackups in your personal settings folder. You can restore the backup to your new Firefox, but unlike importing the HTML-format file, it is a complete drop-in replacement, so if you have saved new bookmarks you do not want to lose, the export/import method may work better for you.

* type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button. This will launch a window showing your Firefox settings files.
You might want to back up this whole folder if you have other data you want to preserve from your XP computer.
Either way, you should find the bookmarkbackups folder here and when you click into it, find maybe 10 files with dates in their names.
