Ive got updates on my apps and i keep getting cannot connect to itunes help please

having trouble with my apps updates. all i get is cannot connect to itunes.

Can you access the internet in other apps?
If so,
Verify your date and timezone
Settings > General > Date & Time
Clear Cache, Cookies, and History in Safari
Settings > Safari > Clear...
Restart iPad (do not just put to sleep, actually restart)

    Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
    Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
    Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
    Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
    Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
    Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
    Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
    Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
    If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

    a lot of people have posted about this and i have seen one weird thing fix this. people said they where going into date and time under settings and changing  the date to some time in the future and then going to the itunes store and it would give them an error that there date and time was wrong. then all you need to do is go back and set the date and time right and go back to the itunes store and try again.
    Im not sure why this did the trick but a bunch of people said that this helped them out..... Weird i know

    I have gone to day and still get "Cannot conect to itune store" message on my ipad. My wifi connection is very good. I can run Safari and get mail and run all other apps that require internet.

    i have the same problem and all anyone does on the forum is to refer me to the same help page from apple whcich is of noe help at all. my wifi is fine everything on the ipad works and connects except to the apps and itunes. can someone give me some real advice please. this problem is driving me crazy. ive searched forum after forum and i cant find nay real answers. thanks

    i am trying to update my hayday on my iphone 3gs, i put in my password and then it comes up with cannot connct to itunes, i've tried messing with the phone but nothing is working can any one help please

    Try in order one at a time:
    - Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost.
    Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Download the apps on the computer and then sync the iPod to the computer.
    - Retore the iPod from backup

    Everytime i go into the app store and click "updates" i am getting the message from above. It is noit that im not connected to the internet because i am having no problem downloading apps and songs from iTunes.     Have you tried rebooting your router - unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again - or temporarily disabling your firewall or anti virus software?
    Restart or reset the iPad?
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

    I have tried going into settings, store then logged out and powered down and restarted, logged back in but that didn't work.

    Your iPad may show the wifi signal level, but you still may not be wifi connected to the internet.
    Look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections  http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

    it declines it when u put in a different card that has $ available on it? have u updated the billing address to match the new card?
    also, u can try using an itunes gift card instead.

    why do i always get "cannot connect to itunes" whenever i update my apps or buy anything from the store while my ipod can download? it has thesame email user

    I use only one Apple ID and only one ID. I did have to change the password at one point but I had no issues at all with updating apps after I changed the password.
    If you can download new apps with the ID that you changed the password for, I would think that you will be able to update apps associated with that ID as well.
    Did you try restarting the iPad after signing out of the one account and then sign in to the other account/accounts?
