i have just plugged my i phone 4s into my computer and it automatically synced with i tunes, i tunes for some reason removed all the apps and backed up my phone automatically. ive gone to put my apps back on and its showing me an automatic flash up message saying, i tunes could not upload ibooks onto your device,it must be authorised. Im signed in and im also authorised, ive de authorised and authorised my account now twice.ive deleted the app i books as i read it could be out of date now and still it wont let me sync my apps. its letting me sync some apps that i bought on my new phone and not my 3, i also had an old e mail address registered with these apps and this account but hotmail deleted it for some random security reason. i have also bought an i pad recently and that works fine with my i tunes.can anybody help me as i have an i phone 4s now with nothing on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this new i tunes is crap!!!!!!!!!!!!! never had problems before, all i did was change my e mail address last time and everything was fine with the old version!!

I did the ios6 software update on my iphone and it did not complete because it said there was an error. It then gave me a message that I needed to restore my phone. When I tried to restore my backup it says it cannot be completed because there is not enough storage. I cant delete anything to make more storage because my phone is not usable because it wont restore. What do I do?
Something in your backup may be corrupt. Try wiping it and setting it up as a new device, then sync your apps, data and media back to it from iTunes. DO NOT resotre from your backup. If the problem is contained in the backup, it will bring it right back again if you restore.

How to Use Multiple iDevices with One Computer -
I have an iphone 4s and recently purchased a 5 for my wife. When I plug her phone into our computer I'm asked if I want to set up as a new phone or back up. I'm not sure what to do her phone is already set up with an icloud account. Can I sync her phone with the player that I have installed and transfer content to her phone or will my phone be removed from the player?
Set up as new, since it newer has been connected to iTunes. Your iPhone will remain on iTunes. I have 4 different devices on my iTunes with no problems.
And regarding the sync - it will sync whatever you tell it to sync on iTunes. -

The first thing to try is to make sure you are not in Full Screen Mode. Press F11.

I've just created this new apple ID account and i need to know that if i plug my phone into my computer and sync my phone onto my new account, then delete my old icloud and apple account from my phone will my things be backed up onto my new icloud? such as my pictures notes contacts music ect... ?
Providing your Apple ID is not a .me or a .Mac address, you can change it with Apple and continue to use your account.
Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
Once who have done this you can then correct it on your mobile device.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
If however, your Apple ID was a .me or a .Mac address, then you will need to create a new account, follow the instructions above for deleting your account on your mobile device and then tap the "create Apple ID" button to create a new account. -
When I plug my phone into my computer it dosnt show up anymore. I want to download my pictures onto my computer, in windows
Hello arndozer,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
When you connect your iPhone to your computer, an iPhone icon should appear in iTunes in the left column under Devices. But if it doesn't, this troubleshooting assistant can help.
For more information on this, take a look at:
iPhone not appearing in iTunes

Hey Mlynch13,
Thanks for the question, and amazing troubleshooting so far. There are a few things we can attempt on your computer, including restarting the Apple Mobile Device Support, and checking for the USB drivers:

My borther accidentally plugged my phone into his computer which wiped everything off my phone and downloaded his itunes imediately. I have icloud but everything I try to do on my phone just has his accounts detaiils - how do I change it back. I am now home and plugged my phone into my computer to try to restore and all I get up on my computer is his itunes account - what do I do?
Hey TBL64,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities, and thanks for the question. I found the following information that should help you out:
...to restore from an iCloud backup, erase your device (by going to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings). When prompted to set up as new or to restore from previous backup, select Restore from iCloud Backup. Enter your AppleID and password when prompted.
