Hi, I can see my performance management plans in the table per_perf_mgmt_plans. But in this table I can't see the appraisal template that is linked to the plan. Is there any table or view which shows this?

Issues while loading the Menu in Infoview for Performance Manager
Hi,
I have been seeing intermittent issues with the menu getting loaded when I click on the Performance Manager tab in Java Infoview. I am working on BOXI R2 SP2.8 on Windows 2003 Server with Oracle 10g as our Database. I have been working with BO tech Support to find out the resolution but so far they have been unsuccessfull in finding the root cause of the issue.
I have tried enabling the logs (Performance Manager) I have checked on the Tomcat Logs (Application Server) and have tried to check the AF_Verbose logs which atually pointed to errors with web.xml however there is no other error pertaining to it. The issue comes up intermittently and sometimes the menu does load successfully but most of the times it is not able to load the Menu for Corporate dashboard.
Any input on this would be very helpfull.First Change your Flat file Order like this

Multiple Languages for Performance Management
Hello,
We are investigating how to allow multiple languages within the appraisal templates within our Performance Management application. Our users currently utilize a Portal entry into Performance Management where they are able to Create or Update their appraisals, all in English.
Is there a way to allow them to select a different language and then use a translator somehow? Is there anything delivered to handle this?
Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated!

Priya has pointed in the right direction .
PM appraisal template can be translated in any language maintained in table T002 .
around 41 different languages are supported by sap .
1) once you right click on the element and select the translation option , you would be asked for
target language .
2) On identifying the target language , a dual panned screen appears where you can have a look at
original and target language .

MSS Dashboard for Performance Management - PMP vs Flexi-Form
Hello Experts,
I have the following problem in Performance Management.
We have decided to use PMP template for some employees (manager level) and Flexi-form for remaining employees (because we have pre-defined criteria in template that PMP UI is not showing).
I found that PMP dashboard in MSS is only showing PMP appraisals.
When manager opens Flex-form UI, it is showing all appraisals that the manager is responsible for (PMP & Flexi) and when the manager clicks on an employee's appraisal document link, it is always displaying the document in Flexi UI mode.
If a manager is having half of his employees using PMP and other half using Flexi-form, what is the best way for him to look at Dashboard (initial screen to open employee's appraisals), so that for PMP appraisals will open with PMP UI and Flexi appraisals will open with Flexi UI?

So i was wrong about it being portal development, glad I finally figured out how to do it.
configuring the "quick criteria maintenance":
It can be done by config following this post: Define default value in POWL Quick Criteria Maintenance for all users
regarding assessment, it doesn't work for you, b/c you probably haven't done the configuration. go to talent management and talent development > talent assessment.
here you wil have to read all the IMG activities, the documentation is decent on how to implement. Basically with EP4, there are new types of assessment that a manager can do besides just performance, this includes assessing potential, risks, barriers, and development plans. all of these assessments processes tie into downstream talent management processes such as talent review meetings and succession planning. hope this helps. -

Customizing creation iview for Repository Manager
Hi All,
How to customize the creation iview (NEW menu) for Custom Repository Manager?
For example if we try to use New submenu under folder option for CM repository instance documents manager then we have lots of option like creation of (folder,upload,textfile,htmlfile,link,external link, Form), where as if you try to use New submenu for ume instance, it has very less customized option.
In fact how do I add the creation of some new type other that specified one in New submenu?, or remove one for my repository from the menu?

BSPs for Performance Management - Response Appreciated.
Hi All:
We are trying to use the standard delivered BSPs that are generated for creating, maintaining a performance review form in ECC. We are currently in ECC 5.0 and Netweaver' 04.
My question: For ESS just like the standard delivered workset calle "talent Management" that is available for MSS is available ?
So when a employee log-in via ESS via the workset called or Career and Job will he or she be able to access the BSP for maintaining the forms ?
Is there custom work involved. The reason being I did not see any information about these BSPs as part of the documentation for ESS.Yes, Eddy is right.. this question has been disucssed on the HCM forum & you cna copy the delivered BSP to bring it over in ESS.. Pl check this Are there Appraisal for ESS

Iviews in Performance Management
Hi ,
I am trying to understand the difference between the below options available in the Manager Documents tab in MSS view.
1. Direct Report to Appraise
2. Employee to Appraise
3. Direct Reports
4. Direct Reports to Leader.
Help appreciated as the results fetched look same for each option available.

Joedepend upon the relationship of the employees with manager ie direct or indirect reportees
accordingly each selection pulls up the employees
Employee to appraise will list all the employees for which managers can do the appraisal
you can change it via OADP or the evaluation path
PHAP_CREATE you can add employees
You can check via RH_STRUC_GET

Error on Flexible Performance Management Appraisal Document
Hello Experts,
We are in the process of building Performance Management using Enhancement Package 4 in ECC 6.0. I am having issues with getting the Appraisal Document to work for MSS. Just to clarify too, I have no experience with Performance Management and the fact that we are using Enhancement package 4, our Functional consultants are not sure what to expect either. One more thing, the SICF service is activated.
*) When trying to preview the Appraisal Document (com.sap.pct.erp.mss.hap_document), I am receiving a Portal Run Time error.
*) When I go into SE80, I am using Package u2018PAOC_HAP_DOCUMENT_WD_UIu2019 to run a test on Web Dynpro Application HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT, I am receiving u2018Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible.u2019
*) When I go into SE80, I am using Package u2018PAOC_HAP_DOCUMENT_WD_UIu2019 to run a test on Web Dynpro Configuration HAP_AC_MAIN_DOC, I am receiving u201Cu2018Error in Calling Up Applicationu2019 The Web Dynpro application was called up with the wrong URL parametersu201D.
QUESTIONS:
1) Do I have to implement Generic Performance Management (com.sap.pct.erp.mss.14.generic_performance_management) to call the appraisal document?
2) Is there any special configuration that needs to be done to make the HAP_MAIN_DOC work (portal or R/3)?
3) Do I need to manually create an SICF service for this?
4) Is there any documentation on how to implement the Flexible?
Any direction would be appreciated.

I copied the Iview Generic Performance Management (com.sap.pct.erp.mss.14.generic_performance_management) with Application Name 'HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI_MSS' and the Application Configuration Name 'HAP_START_PG_POW_MSS_AC'.
Activated the SICF services of 'hap_main_document', 'HAP_START_PG_POW_MSS_AC', 'HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI_MSS. Also, I would activate the services that begin with 'HAP' that l thought that I would need.
In SE80, there are 2 locations to find these Applications: 1) Web Dynpro Comp./Intf. = FPM_OIF_COMPONENT and 2) Package = PAOC_HAP_DOCUMENT_WD_UI.
As for the notes, we are on SAPK-60420INEAHRGXX, these are the notes that we applied:
1468466 - PM Launchpad Config
1463821 - PM Portal Config
1416756 - OBN Config in PM
1408243 - Config for OBN

I would like to know if for the implementation of HR Performance Management , a portal implementation is also needed.
Is performance management included in the MSS business package??

for performance management you will need e-portal to be implemented, the standard MSS business package is avaible for managers approval of the approval document , on the ESS side you may have to customize few iviews as needed.

I dont think there is any standard report that is available to get the data as per you your requirement.
I would suggest you to develop a custom report to get the data.
Get the appraisal related data from PHAP*
Get the OM (Org units) related data from employee's 0001 infotype and pass details from FM "RH_STRUC_GET".
Get the employee related data from PA tables.
