  • Cluvfy returns Path "/tmp/" does not exist and cannot be created on nodes

    Hi,
    I'm installing Oracle RAC for SAP in AIX 5L.
    After run Pre-check for cluster services setup it returns the next message:
    Path "/tmp/" does not exist and cannot be created on nodes
    This meessage is happening after Checking node reachability and Checking user equivalence phases.
    This is my complete log:

    The /tmp is a shared filesystem and oracle user can write and read it
    Oracle user id is the same in both nodes
    Group dba id is the same in both nodes
    Group oinstall id is the same in both nodes
    The primary group for Oracle user is oinstall
    Where can my problem be ?
    Thank you

    Hi,
    Even if this is not resolved from above stuff then do the following
    [oracle@node1] ssh node1 date
    [oracle@node2] ssh node2 date
    Note that it is doing the ssh to itself rather than the remaining node(s). Usually people do forget to do atleast once the ssh to itself.

  • Product category does not exist in logical system

    Hello Experts,
    Need help in understanding product category change behaviour.
    Shopping cart created and approved.
    PO created and approved.
    Now PO change version created by changing product category.
    Please enlighten me whether this change is really allowed on business perspective and SAP perspective.
    So far we been told that there is business case to justify this change.
    If allowed by SAP, then how do we solve the problem of error occuring in workflow "product category does not exist in logical system XXXX".
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Gaurav

    Hi
    I dont have  a system right now to check
    1.are you ordering the item from external catalog? ( any  mapping between catalog product category to SAP product category )?
    2. after approved PO created.
    3. Now BUYER could change the product category again?
    4. why the BUYER takes push ups for REQUESTER . Let Buyer cancel the PO and ask requester to create a PO.
    What is the business process existing in your business ?
    Since product category determines purchase group and every thing like gl account etc..
    Can you recreate the same issue in development box?
    Note 1466155 - GL account not re-determined on change of product categorySymptom
    You have an SRM PO with items having multiple account assignment. Go to the PO item overview OR to the item basic data tab and change the product category. However, this does not trigger a new GL account determination for the accounting lines.
    Note 1407962 - Category is editable when contract is assigned in PO item
    Symptom
    When ever a Contract item (Free text or Product Category) is assigned to a Purchase order free text line item, The category modification is not allowed.  This is because the product category is always copied from the contract item and overrides the Category for Purchase Order Item. It is confusing for the user as the category is editable and can't be modified.
    SAP has different different behaviors . Kindly tell us what type you belongs too...

  • BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 Error "Address category does not exist"

    Hello everyone,
    I have the following error "Address category does not exist" when executing bapi "BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2" from a user application, the error is not constant, meaning sometimes shows and sometimes does not, I´ve been investigatnig regarding this and it seems to be a buffer problem, found SAP Note "1232196 - Inexplicable error in BAPI" and implemented FM "SD_SALES_DOCUMENT_INIT." as solution described, but it's still not working, does anyone faced this problem before that could help me out?
    Thanks in advance for your replies.
    Regards,
    Julio Cesar

    Hi julio,
    I guess this error occurs due to some pre configuration issue with the value by which your creating the sales order. Have you tried creating sales order with any other value or with just header data.

  • SP2013: List does not exist / The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user

    There are dozens of entries regarding "
    List does not exist / The page you selected
    contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user" and none of them are really SP 2013 so i thought I would create this entry.
    I am getting the error above after creating a simple list with 4 columns.  the list is created during a new site definition activation but when I click on my list, I get the error above.  the list works if I deactivate the feature and re-activate
    it.  but has the error whenever the new site definition is created.
    Has anybody encountered this issue on SP 2013?

  • Work center category does not exist in CNR1

    Hi,
    While creating a work center through CNR1, I am getting the error 'Work center category 008 does not exist'. I checked  OP40 and the work center category is maintained there. Also the category 0008 has application maintained as Recipes.
    Let me know if I am missing anything here.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Soumya.

    Hi,
    I feel so. If your using the work centre category for project managment, then, application management will be assigned to N, then you can use CNR1, which is the T code to create work centre in Project management.
    In the standard system, Work centre category for project management is 006.
    Pl. try creating the work centre through CRC1 for process manufacturing.

  • Subject Profile Category does not exist

    Hi,
    System: CRM2007
    I have created a new subject profile Z* and assigned it to Subject Profile Category Y. When going to the next level (code group profile for Subject Profile), I get the ff. message:
    "Subject profile category Y does not exist (system error)
    Message no. CRM_SUBJECT_PROFILE001"
    Why does it not work?
    Thanks
    Anke

    Hi,
    For which scenario are you using the subject profile??
    If you are using it for service then please maintain the Subject Profile Category as "A-Service" while defining the subject profile.

  • Boot image does not exist and cannot read disk label errors.

    Hi - I'm having a problem with installing Solaris 9 4/04 on a Netra T1. The Netra already has Solaris 7. I need to get this set up as a jumpstart server but it can't find the boot image. I'm using a brand new bonafide installation disk - not a copy. The system won't let me install/upgrade to Solaris 9 either. I get an error stating that disk label can't be read. I've tried swapping out the CDROM but I still get the same errors. Does anyone know what or why this may be happening? (Oh - and another strange thing - like I said the CDs are the original but there doesn't appear to be a cdrom/cdrom0/s0 directory. The directory I see is cdrom/cdrom0/sol_9_404_sparc/Solaris_9/Tools)
    ERROR: Install boot image /cdrom/sol_9_404_sparc/Solaris_9/Tools/Boot does not exist

    Thanks

    Hi check that you are booting of the right cd. Make sure it is soalris 9 software 1/2 if that fails then it may well be that your cd is buggered. most likely it is buggered it it cant find the boot image.

    I dunno what is this fuckin shared memoryThis fuckin shared memory is how oracle does interprocess communication. When you connect to Oracle, you have to connect to this area. If you tell it the wrong area, it won't find it. You can see the areas with the ipcs command on the server. Since you can connect locally, but can't connect remotely, there is something wrong with how you told Oracle to connect remotely. Remotely can be on the same host if you have an @ in the connect string.

    ORACLE_HOME=/home/oracle/u01/app/oracle/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/
    seems like my variables are good.
    Well I dunno what to do I didn't think getting a simple login locally over tcp/ip would be so difficult, I am afraid of what will happen after this will work :) As it should be one of the easiest things on oracle what about the hardest :)Well, first try removing the trailing slash from ORACLE_HOME everywhere, including if you have it in the listener.ora. Then compare the tnsnames.ora ORACLE_HOME with your environment ORACLE_HOME. In fact, if you have a listener.ora, try renaming it to something else and restarting the listener.
    That error is normally due to a bad ORACLE_HOME or ORACLE_SID. Since your tnsping works, that indicates the ORACLE_HOME is good. But all that tells you is that the listener responds. Other causes may be inadequate processes in init.ora or case issues with the sid, or just generally not following the installation instructions. But are there installation instructions for debian?
    With multiple databases on one host, some kernel parameters may need to be increased.

  • G/L account does not exist but cannot create G/L account.

    Hi Guys
    i got this error which says G/L account NO. 121000 does not exist in the chart of accounts INT, but when i tried to create the G/L account in FS00, the system says ths G/L account exists in company code PS01.this company code PS01 has the chart of accounts INT. suggestions are welcome.
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi,
    interesting... the message means GL account is not created in chart of accounts INT (FSP0) but if its availabe in another comp. code with the same chart of accouns it MUST be created in INT. Try to create it for your particular company code (FSS0).
    T-Code FS00 covers both views.

  • Active Directory does not exist or cannot be contacted

    Hi:  We have a server 2008R2 x64 bit.  The DC is an server 2008sp2.  Single domain.local On trying to install Exchange 2010 we get a series of errors:
    1. AD doesn't exist or cannot be contacted
    2. must be a member of organization Management role or enterprise admins
    3. The credential for machine|Administrator is not on bind
    4. The user is not logged on to a windows domain.
    DCDiag >> no errors.  Have read through a lot of posts with these errros but most apply to server 2003 where there were tools used not available in 2008.  Help is greatly appreciated.  Chris

    Hello Chris,
    Are you installing Exchange 2010 on the same server that is a domain controller? if this is a different member server, please post the complete ipconfig /all
    Make sure the domain controller is a global catalog server
    make sure DNS is functioning well dcdiag /test:dns
    You donot need to manually add admin to all these groups as exhange 2010 will do this automatically as long as the account you are using is and administrator and a member of the schema/enterprise admins group

  • Table or view does not exists error while executing select statement

    Hi,
    I am new to Oracle. I am getting a error while executing the select statement if i give table name without double quotes.
    Ex: Select * from Customer;
    But working fine when the table name is enclosed within a double quotes.
    Ex: Select * from "Customer";
    Is there any way to execute the select statement without the double quotes?
    Actually I am using NHibernate objects for data access.
    Thanks,
    Sai

    Actually I am using NHibernate objects for data access.And probably that's the problem:
    SQL> select * from mytab;
             A
             1
    SQL> select * from mYtAb;
             A
             1
    SQL> select * from MYTAB;
             A
             1
    SQL>  select * from MYTAb;
             A
             1Oracle statements are case insensitive and doesn't require double quotes unless the object names are reserved words.
    As wrote by others if table is created using double quotes it's name bacomes case-sensitive... and this could be the problem...
