IW32 - Total planned cost value

Hi All,
Can you one of you tell how to get the Total planned cost(i.e. KKBCS_OUT- PLANKOST_G this value is calculated and displayed dynamically in another ALV list of same IW32 transaction when we go to Cost Tab and click on button Rep plan/Act.) value in trasaction IW32.

Sales order - show total plan costs (from production order) on sales order

Hi all,
I have the following question/scenario:
We create prodction order to collect cost (hours) for a service. There exists also a material master for this service.
The confirmed hours are posted on the production order and then setteld to the respective sales order (settlement rule SDI).
What to I have to maintain/customize to show the total plan cost (for the service) on gthe sales order?
If I check the sales order via VA03 --> environment --> cost report , I can see the planned sales revenue but no planned costs?
(the actual value flows work so far, postings via settlement or billing document).
I hope the topic is understandable. Any ideas?

Hi
Planned costs from prod order can not show on sale order.. Both are 2 separate entities in their own respects
Unless you calculate sales order cost estimate on your sales order, you cant see planned costs on sale order...
To calculate sale order cost estimate, make settings in your requirement class...
1. Go to procurement tab of sale order
2. See whats the requirement type
3. Go to IMG > Controlling > Prod cost Contr > Cost Obj Contr > Prod Cost by Sales Order > Control of Requirements
4. Here you can see mapping of req type to req class....
5. If you want to have sales order costing and have sales order as CO object inorder to have sales order wise profitability, you should have following settings in Req class...
>Acct Assignment Category should be E
>Costing: Either Blank or X
>Costing Id and Costing Method: As per your requirement

In IW32 transaction Plan Cost and Actual cost in cost tab ---Table Name.
Req: needed plan cost & actual cost table names for particular order number.( For New Report )
Can you please let me know where Plan cost & actual cost get stored in IW32 in Cost tab ( table name / function module name ) or how its get calcualted for particular order number.

hi ,
i too had same issue , i wrote following FS for that :
Actual and planned cost from PMCO-WRT00 to WRT12(the sum of values should be considered for actual as well as planned ) for PMCO-OBJNR taken from CAUFV -OBJNR for order number AFIH-AUFNR and also currency from CAUFV-WAERS .
Actual cost will have valuation type PMCO-WRTTP = 4 and planned cost will have valuation type PMCO-WRTTP = 1 , which will be placed in different column

Dear Sharma,
1. This is regarding Maintenance order, frist you confirm by clicking on the operations tab-> double clicking on the work center->click on costing tab, check here activity type, activity unit is maintained.
2. then in in KP26 check the activity price in the current period.if it is zero u will get zero
3 then in the order click on components, if components are consumed also check the component price in material master.
this will resolve your issue

We have a requirement where we need to find out the Planned Costs booked against a WBS element, in a year. The costs can be against all the plan versions or on individual plan version.How to find total object-numbesr for a WBS element

Hi Swastik,
Those cost elements (category 31) are used to calculate and store WIP values at the detailed level of so called line IDs.
Line IDs are groups of cost elements that were posted to production order.
For example you can calculate and store WIP separately for Raw Materials, Semis, Activities and overhead.
You can also settle them to different GL Accounts via mapping in txn.OKG8.

Internal Order Total Plan cost

Hello All,
When the internal order is getting created in ECC from CRM, it should be able to show the plan cost based on the estimated values.
Can you please help me by telling the correct config/ enhancement that needs to be done to achieve the same. Please note that the Internal order in ECC gets created for each transaction/ service order created in CRM, so manual planning using KP26 is not of the any help for us.

CJ40 plan cost values not appearing in KKA2 screen

HI Controllers,
I am configuring for Result analysis (POC). Here I need to plan for the WBS element, based on this I will calculate RA POC values.
Here my problem is I can see the values from Revenue planning (CJ42) but i can not see the values from CJ40 (Cost planning) to KKA2 screen.Pls help me how can i see the CJ40 values also in KKA2 result screen.

Hi,
In order to make the planned cost available in KKA2 for Result analysis run maintain Cost element planning by
CJR2 - Planning -> Costs in WBS -> Cost and Activity Inputs -> Change Here you need to maintain a Cost element from Cost and Revenue , In initial screen select Cost element 1 to 9999999999999 and execute it will take you to Cost element where you can plan the Cost and Revenue which will update the KKA2 .
Please try above and let me know the result.

How can I crosscheck Total Planned/Actual Cost in MCI3 (S061) correct?

I want to crosscheck "Total Planned Cost" and "total Actual Cost" in MCI3(S061) - Location and Planning analysis is correct or not.'
In my current system I am trying to compare the Orders in IW39 and MCI3 but costs are not matching.
I have done some analysis and found that the costs are updated in S061 from PMCO.
But for same Orders in months e.g August I am getting posting for July,August and Semptember.
So I am not sure how I can compare the values of "Total Planned Cost " and Total Actual Cost" in S061 to IW39.
If it is possible to compare what selection criteria I should use for fetcing the Orders from AUFK or IW39. Which dates are I should used ( Date range - Period, Basic start/end dates, Actual start/End Dates).

Comparing the MCI3 & IW39 cost figures is not right as per my knowledge.
S061-->following below logic for calculations for Actual Cost and Planned Cost
Total planned costs for PM measures
Sum of planning costs for PM measures
This key figure will be updated when a PM order with a time reference is created and changed at the starting date of the posting period, in which the costs were created.
Total of the actual costs for PM measures
This key figure is updated with every cost-relevant transaction for a PM order (for example, completion confirmation, material withdrawal) for the beginning date of the posting period, in which the costs were created. For historical orders, the key figure is updated when creating and changing a historical order with a time reference to the starting date of the posting period which was determined for the reference date of the order.
Total of actual costs for companyu2019s own material for PM measures
This key figure is updated for every cost-relevant operation for a maintenance order (for example, time confirmation, material withdrawal).
For historical orders, the key figure is updated when creating and changing a historical order with a time reference to the starting date of the posting period which was determined for the reference date of the order. The key figure update is important from a business point of view only when a material removal is made.
Total of actual costs for external material for PM measures
This key figure is updated with every cost-relevant transaction for a PM order (for example, completion confirmation, material withdrawal) for the beginning date of the posting period, in which the costs were created.

CJR2 planned cost recalculation based on update KP26 rates

Hello All,
Thank you for taking time to read my question. I am fairly new to the PS module and so please bear with me.
I am trying to find if there is a TCode or SAP program to automatically update the total planned cost on CJR2, based on the updated KP26 rates. Currently I have hours in CJR2 and the total planned cost is calculated based on the old rate. If I make a change on the hours (for e.g: add .01 to hours), system will automatically calculate the total cost based on the new rate. Once the new rate is calculated, I can take off the addition that I made and the system will hold the new updated value. Is there any way to automatically recalculate the costs for all open projects?
I checked this forum and couple of others and didn't see an answer. I might be wrong and there may not be a standard way, but if anyone out there know better, please share the information.
Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks again.

Hi,
The situation you described is strange.
System should update planned WBS (or order) costs automatically after saving new activity price in KP26.
Please have a look at SAP Note 787182 - Balance in planned settlement after price is changed .
It deals with different issue but describes standard system response in this case.

You should be able to get that from table PMCO. It holds the cost for the order at the Value category level. You would have to sum up the cost from different value categories to arrive at the total planned cost of the order. The estimate and actual cost at the value category level is also available from the same table.
The same information can also be obtained from the controlling tables of COSS,COSP and COEP.

GR for a Production order to be controlled on actual /planned cost

Hi,
               When I do a GR for a production order I want to restrict the GR if my actual cost of materials consumed for the production order is less that 80 % of the planned cost of that production order. There is no provision for restricting the above.
When GR is done for a partial quantity of the production order, the system should consider and compare the GR quantity material cost against the same GR quantity Planned cost in the production order. If the GR quantity actual material value is less than 80% of the GR quantity material planned value, then the system should stop the GR to stores.
Eg:
Production Order for 10 Units of material X
BOM for X are Material A, B and C
Planned quantity to manufacture 10 units of material X is: A 10 unit, B 10 Unit, C 10 Unit
                                The planned value for the material BOM is : A 100
                              B 75
                              C 25
                                     Total Value to manufacture material X is Rs .200
Case 1
If only 5 units are manufactured using the production order.
The GR to stores must be allowed only after the system check the total actual materials consumed in the production to produce 5 units exceeds 80% of the 5 units planned material cost.
Planned Material Value               Actual Material Value
A. 510 = 50                         A. 59 = 4
B. 57.5 = 37.5                         B. 56 = 30
C. 52.5 = 12.5                         C. 52 = 10
Total planned material Value is Rs 100            Total actual material Value is Rs 85
The above case shows that the actual material consumed in the production order is more than 80% of the planned materials. So, the system should allow the GR to stores.
It should check only material cost only.
Case 1I
If 10 units are manufactured using the production order.
The GR to stores must be allowed only after the system check the total actual materials consumed in the production to produce 10 units exceeds 80% of the 10 units planned material cost.
Planned Material Value                    Actual Material Value
A. 1010 = 100                         A. 109 = 90
B. 107.5 = 75                            B. 56 = 30
C. 102.5 = 25                                     C. 52 = 10
Total planned material Value is Rs 200          Total actual material Value is Rs.130
The above case shows that the actual material consumed value in the production order is less than 80% of the planned materials. So, the system should not allow the GR to stores.
It should check only material cost only.

Try using the userexit in enhancement MBCF0002.
(A) Now the Planned cost can be calculated from the RESB table passing the Order no. For all the line items in RESB calculate the planned cost = Price * Qty.
(B) For actual costs take it from AUFM for mvt type 261. The fields DMBTR will give you the value. Sum for all line items.
Now suppose the GR bing done now is 5. This you will get in the user exit. In the exit check from CAUFV whta was the GR already posted. Say this is 2. So the total GR is 5 + 2 = 7.
Planned cost for 7 = (A) / Order Qty * 7
Actual cost = (B)
Compare planned and actual and give yr message,

ALV Report Prob with Sys Status & Totl Planned Costs

Ive dev the report. now ive a few chages on report. I need to add this three frields in my report.
For the getting the system status. For Each works Order find the recors in the table JEST.
