When I use IW47 selection screen and I exclude a range of work orders by making use of the multiple selection exclude range I Enter the work order range and copy it select the completed box and execute.On the display screen the range that I have entered is not excluded??? if I know select the order column and filter the previous selected range the system will exclude the numbers know.
Have Anybody seen this before? or know how to resolve this issue.

Configuration settings for Transaction CORT (Display Confirmation)
Hello friends,
I have one process order and for which couple of times i have done the confirmation and cancelled it.
Now when i go to Transaction code CORT (Display Confirmation),it shows all that transactions(Counter) for that operation (Phase), like
0020 (op/counter) Qty Scrap Unit
1 500 0 kg (Reversed)
1 500 0 kg
2 500 0 kg (Reversed)
2 500 0 kg
This happens in Production server.
But when in development server i did like this,i.e created one process order and did confirmation and cancellation couple of times and went in transaction code CORT (Display confirmation),there i found counter like this
0020 (op/counter) Qty Scrap Unit
1 500 0 kg (Reversed)
1 500 0 kg
3 500 0 kg (Reversed)
3 500 0 kg
Later on again i did the confirmation and cancellation than next counter came as 5.
I want system should show me 2 instead of 3 like in production server.so guys where we do configuration for it.
Thanking you guys in advance.i am closing the thread.

DW CS3 does not display confirmation dialog when checking out file
We have 3 developers set up with DW CS3 Version 9 build 3481.
When checking out a file that is already checked out one pc will
display a dialog box to confirm that you want to check-out the file
as it is already checked out by someone else. This is good as we
want this dialog to appear. However on the other 2 pc's there is no
dialog box displayed and the checkout process continues as if the
file was never checked out.
The text of the confirmation dialog box reads as such :
"index.cfm is checked out by first.lastname. Are you sure you want
to override his/her checkout?". I have been through the preferences
and verified that we have setup the sites in the same manner but we
still have this issue.
Is there a known bug regarding this feature? Is there a
preference setting somewhere that I have missed?
thanksAre each of your developers sharing the same local site?
That's why you are
getting this error if they are. The proper setup would
involve THREE
locations:
1. Local sites (unique to each workstation)
2. Staging server (shared by all workstations)
3. Production server (the live site)
You would have TWO site definitions, which would be -
(for each workstation)
1. Local = #1 (unique location for each workstation)
2. Remote = #2
(for one MASTER workstation)
1. Local = #2
2. Remote = #3
Use the first site definition for day-to-day work and
checking files in/out.
Use the second site definition ONLY for pushing files from
the staging
server to the production server.
That's the only way it will work....

How to display confirm message in APEX pl/sql process
I have a pl/sql process that selects success messages from a database table. These messages need to be displayed to the user and confirmed (only one button, to acknowledge/dismiss the mssage) along the way.
Is there a way to do this within the process? I see lots of examples in the Forum of doing this in javascript (which I know very little about) but suspect there must be a simple way to do this in my pl/sql process.
Help?
Thanks,
CarolHi Carol,
You can put you success messages inside page items or application items (when pages are rendered or processed...).
Then using :
1) javascript can display these values
2) rendering the page can display these values
Hope this help

Display confirmation dialog when opening PDF
I've been asked to add a confirmation dialog box to a PDF file that includes a legal disclaimer. The dialogue box would display when opening the pdf document and include yes and no buttons to confirm that the user understands and accepts the disclaimer before reading the document. Selecting "Yes" would allow them to proceed, while selecting "No" would close the file. Is it possible to create something like this in Acrobat? I'm running Acrobat Standard 8.
Thanks,
EricHi Eric,
Yes, you can do that but it's not an easy task. You need to code the dialog in JavaScript and then use OCGs (layers) for a cover sheet that will remain "on" until the user selects the Yes button in the dialog. Coding the dialog is a major task to do by hand and I'm not sure if Acrobat 8 Standard has the OCG capability.
Check out our tool AcroDialogs(http://www.windjack.com/products/acrodialogs.html) for making dialog creation about 100 times faster and easier, and there is an example of a license dialog agreement just like what you are asking for on that page- scroll down to the Document License Dialog Example. But again, that solution was developed with Acrobat Professional and I'm not sure if Standard handles OCGs or not- you'll have to check on that.
Also keep in mind this is by no means a foolproof security methodology. However, it does provide a way to ensure the user agreed to the dialog before viewing the rest of the content.
Hope this helps,
Dimitri

How to Display Confirmation message when data is stored in DB ?
Hello.
I am persisting user entered data to database table. But I want to display custom message like "Stored successfully" or "Not Stored".
I am using following approach in my controller and AM impl
in PFR:
public void processFormRequest(OAPageContext pageContext, OAWebBean webBean)
super.processFormRequest(pageContext, webBean);
OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean) ;
am.invokeMethod("insertDataToDeviceDetailsTable") ;
in AM Impl :
public void insertDataToDeviceDetailsTable(){
getDBTransaction().commit();
//delegating control to Device Details Page
How to do it ? and also what is the best way to show messages in this scenario. As in some pages a dialogue box appears and the page become inactive.
waiting for reply..
Regards,
AjayHi,
You can pint message after am.invoke method:
public void processFormRequest(OAPageContext pageContext, OAWebBean webBean)
super.processFormRequest(pageContext, webBean);
OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean) ;
am.invokeMethod("insertDataToDeviceDetailsTable") ;
throw new OAException("Stored successfully", OAException.INFORMATION);
in AM Impl :
public void insertDataToDeviceDetailsTable(){
getDBTransaction().commit();

Cancel button to display confirmation dialog in an edittable form
Hi everyone.
I have got a requirement that in my edittable form, I need to show confirmation popup before canelling the page and discarding all the changes.
But, before showing that dialog, I need to figure out if any changes happened or not?
As usual, my cancel button is set to immediate=true, and for that reason, I couldn't find any way to see whether user done any change or not.
As far as I know, there are two ways to find out the changes:
1. using Data control
ApplicationModule am = ADFUtils.getDCBindingContainer().getDataControl().getApplicationModule();
return am.getTransaction().isDirty();
OR
BindingContext bc = BindingContext.getCurrent();
String currentDataControlFrame = bc.getCurrentDataControlFrame();
return bc.findDataControlFrame(currentDataControlFrame).isTransactionDirty();
2. using commit button:
Boolean changed = (Boolean)JSFUtils.getManagedBeanValue("bindings.Commit.enabled");
But, both of them cannot reflect the change in case of postback caused by cancel button, as mentioned its immediate=true
Any solution to find out changes if cancel button pressed?
Cheers,
NasserI have the same case, and I'm using the below code for the button action listener, with immediate=true.
ControllerContext cctx = ControllerContext.getInstance();
if (cctx.getCurrentRootViewPort().isDataDirty()) {
RichPopup.PopupHints hints = new RichPopup.PopupHints();
getExitPopup().show(hints);
try this, maybe it will help. -
Displaying Confirmation Message after a Background Session Create
Hi All,
I have an application that creates a financial document in a background session. I want to wait for this background session to complete and then display to the user that it has completed and what the document number is.
How can I do this?
Currently I am waiting 5 seconds and then displaying the newest document that has been added to BKPF but I know that this is probably not very good practice. I was hoping there was a better way.
Thanks for any help, its much appreciated,

Flash CC not closing files, but displaying confirmation message in the output panel
Hi everyone,
I have a JSFL file that basically iterates through some of the frames of an ordinary flash file to validate it has some specific frame labels inserted.
The thing is, after I've ran this once against any flash file, no matter what the result is (either it finds the labels or it doesn't and it traces the result in the ouput panel) flash CC does this weird thing... I try to close any flash file I have open which has some unsaved modifications, and instead of prompting me if I want to save the changes, I see the message in the output panel:
Save changes to "green_fire_dragon.fla"?
So I can't actually close the file because I can't click OK! If I try to close Flash itself I get the same thing.
Can anyone explain this? Thanks!
PS: Not sure if it will make a difference but I can post the javascript code if necessary.Can you log a bug at :

Display a confirmation message in a region,not in a page
HI Team,
Requirement :- Imc page named IMCCReateAddress.xml.
Subregion inside a page names HZcreateupdate.xml
At any action on button resided in HZcreateUpdate.xml ,developer want to display confirmation or error message in the same region of page Hzcretaupdate.xml,not at page level IMCCreateAddress.xml.
How can developer can achieve same?Hi Christian.
You can use the same logic for your own processing logic.
the syntax is...
javascript:confirmDelete(htmldb_delete_message,'YOUR_PROCESS_NAME');Replace 'YOUR_PROCESS_NAME' with the name of your page process that handles the bulk delete. Don't for get the single-quotes either side of your process name.
Hope this helps.

Can I use my Mid 2012 13" MacBook Pro to drive two displays?
I have a Mid 2012 13" MacBook Pro (NOT Retina - I wanted the optical drive...) connected to a 27" Thunderbolt Display. If I get a MiniDisplay Port <-> MiniDisplay Port Cable (and connect it between the Thunderbolt Port on the Thunderbolt Display, and the MiniDisplay Port on the iMac), will the MacBook Pro also be able to drive my 27" Mid 2010 iMac as an external Monitor?
If not, will the iMac be able to drive the Thunderbolt display?
I'm trying to get to documents side by side on the 27" monitor so I can move data between them - Word/Word, Word/Excel, etc.,
It would be nice to know the answer before I go to the store and drop the $ on the cable...
Many thanks,
ChrisAfter lots of reading, it seems it is possible (thanks for the link, OGELTHORPE), but I haven't been able to figure out the right cable configuration.
Confirmed my MacBook Pro (mid 2012) supports two Thunderbolt Displays
Confirmed my iMac (mid 2010) supports Target Display Mode
Confirmed this is possible based on the below...
6. Can I use an Apple Thunderbolt Display and an iMac in Target Display Mode to act as two additional displays for my Thunderbolt-equipped Mac?
Yes. If your Thunderbolt-equipped Mac supports two Thunderbolt displays this is possible. Your Thunderbolt-equipped Mac will need to be connected to your Apple Thunderbolt display and the iMac will need to be connected to the Thunderbolt port of the Apple Thunderbolt display. Not all iMacs support Target Display Mode. See Target Display Mode: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for more information. Once connected, place the iMac into Target Display Mode to enable it as the second external display.
Notes:
Make sure the Thunderbolt Display is connected to your Thunderbolt-equipped Mac and is being recognized and used by the Thunderbolt-equipped Mac before connecting the iMac to the Thunderbolt display.
If the iMac is placed in the Thunderbolt chain before the Apple Thunderbolt Display, the Thunderbolt display will work as an external display for the iMac and it will stay active as an external display for the iMac, but it will not function with the main Thunderbolt-equipped Mac using the iMac's display.
To use an iMac in Target Display Mode when connected to an Apple Thunderbolt Display, the iMac must be Thunderbolt-enabled, and a Thunderbolt cable must be used (not a mini-DP cable).
The bulletpoint that worries me is the last one. I have tried with both a mini display port cable AND a thunderbolt cable, but the last bulletpoint seems to suggest that this is not possible if the iMac is NOT a Thunderbolt enabled iMac (which mine isn't). It does however say elsewhere that my iMac acting in TDM mode acts as a Thunderbolt Display, so it's all a bit confusing!!! It seems that my MacBook Pro can't drive both displays; so now I'm trying to figure out how to get the iMac to treat my Thunderbolt display as a second monitor.
Fingers crossed...
