Iweb 08 cant see pictures

I just installed ILIFE 08 and I am updating my website- when i open iweb my site looks fine and everything is included- when i publish, however, i go to the web site and can't see any pictures or movies on any of the pages- has anyone else experienced this- is there something else to do in 08 so the pics and video are not hidden?

i am going to reply to my own post here- it is a Firefox thing because it works perfectly in safari- I have been having a lot of problems with firefox and media lately- i cant play any video from the web (mostly problems with ilife 08 tvideo tutorials) anyone care to comment?

Try a reset ...
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Cant see pictures in mail

cant see any pictures sent to me in mail on my ipad??

No thats not what wronge i send picture to my mum all the time from my iphone to her ipad she was trying to send me a picture back but must of done something now she cant see any pictures that have been previously sent or any that i try to send her now. dont know if she has pushed something or whats happened. tried deleting her gmail account and re adding it but that hasnt helped. thanks

Cant see pictures in develop menu!

I just started using Lightroom and I cant get the pictures that I import to show up in the bottom of the software and everytime I select a picture from ythe catalog tab and try to edit it in the DEVELOP menu it tells me that I have no picture selected! Can anyone help a newbee!

Can you see the images/previews while in Library?
Are there any question marks on the previews and/or on the folders in the left folder panel?
What happens if you click on a photo in the filmstrip while in the Develop module?
What type of images? From what camera?

Cant see pictures- only gray box with !

please i need help i by accidently double clicked a picture twice (so i clicked the picture 4 times really fast by accident) and then instead of seeing an enlarged picture i saw a gray box with dashed lines with an ! in the middle. when i plugged my ipod touch in i looked and all my pictures were gone. i dont know how to fix it, please help me!

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I CANT SEE PICTURES THAT I TAKE WITH MY N900

I have use my N900 for about 5 months and everything was fine..but recently if I take a picture and do not save it immediately, I can not find it later in ALL IMAGES. Can someone please help me. Taking a picture and save it manually waste time..

anyway i got both "camera" and "DCIM" folders in my internal mem.Both are visible even from my N900.This happened after PR 1.3. It just freak me out sometimes. lol.

ok...so if i use the integrated file manager, i only see Camera and no DCIM....
but...
if i use filebox (with root access) then i only see DCIM, and not camera.
wierd, i know....and now that we have fully confused this poor chap....lol...it is the same folder. not sure why you have two unless you may have accidently copied the DCIM from the card to the MyDocs. surely your new pictures, if the emmc is selected, are going into the camera folder on the MyDocs as that is what is coded.

Renamed folder now cant see pictures in library

Ahoy there,
i renamed some folders in my iPhoto picture database to organize my computer a bit but now when i browse through the photos (in iPhoto) they are hidden until i full screen them. once full screen they are fine though
know how to fix it?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
*It is strongly advised that you do not move, change or in anyway alter things in the iPhoto Library Folder as this can cause the application to fail and even lead to data loss*
The simple solution is to return things to exactly the way they were. If you cannot, do you have an up-to-date back up? Otherwise you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.
Here's what's gone wrong: iPhoto is a database. When you renamed the folders you changed the Path to the files and now iPhoto cannot find them. Think of it this way. You've hired a filing clerk, and this clerk has organised all your pics. Now, when the filing clerk has gone home, you've re-arranged things, and next morning when you ask the clerk to give you a pic, the clerk can't find them because you changed the system around.
Everything a user needs to do is done in the iPhoto Window - there is simply no need to ever go into the iPhoto Library.
I assume you renamed these folders to make the files easier to find. Well there are three ways (at least) to get files from the iPhoto Window.
1. *Drag and Drop*: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
2. *File -> Export*: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
3. *Show File*: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
Events in the iPhoto Window correspond exactly with the Folders in the Originals Folder in the iPhoto Library package file (Right click on it in the Pictures Folder -> Show Package Contents).
You can move photos between Events, you can rename Events, edit them, create them, as long as you do it via the iPhoto Window. Check out the Info Pane (wee 'i', lower left) the name and date fields are editable. Edit a Event Name using the Info Pane, the Event Folder in iPhoto Library/Originals will also have the new name.
To upload to MySpace or any site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.
This is also true for emailing with Web-based services. If you're using Gmail you can use THIS
If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser. Or, if you want to access the files with iPhoto not running, then create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use THIS
If you want to use an other application as an editor then: You can set Photoshop (or any image editor)as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically.

follow these steps to unblock images:
*Go to Tools > Options. Click the '''Content''' tab.
*In the Content section, next to '''Load images automatically''', click the '''Exceptions''' button.
*Now, find the site you want to re-allow images for, click it and hit the '''Remove''' button.

Copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

You both backup your iPhones on the same Apple ID, so when she restore her iPhone it pulled the data from the last backup (your iPhone). She would need to erase her iPhone and restore from her back up. Take a look at this link in the restore section, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4859

Hello, I own a blackberry curve 8520 and use blackberry messenger but have a problem. That problem is that I cant see my friends display pictures and they can see mine. I have under 100 contacts and got the latest software and have tried reinstalling it. I have done everything obvious such as turning it off and on and removing the battery, can you please help me?

If you set up photostream correctly on your computer/ipad and instructions can be found here:

it automatically created photostream folder in your Pictures/my pictures folder for Windows or iphoto for Mac.
You will find all your pictures in there, no need to go online. If you didn't use Photostream -start doing so now.
Otherwise you pictures are included in your back up, but that is an image file. What it means you will not be able to retreive one picture out of back up. You can however restore from that back up - instructions here

You probably do not want to do that for one picture, or even two but the option exists and steps are also in the article above.

What I meant that whatever is saved - does not go against 5 gigs of storage that apple gives you - unlimited space available, but only for the stuff you purchased in itunes.
