Iweb 09 ...using Paypal "add to cart"...something is wrong

I added a "add to cart' Paypal buttons on my website under each item that I have listed for sale. When I click on the photo to enlarge it the "add to cart" buttons appears all over my enlarged photos. How can I fix this?
Below is my website (UNDER CONSTRUCTION) Click to enlarge on my pictures of items for sale and you will see my problem.

PLEASE help!!!

That issue has been addressed and answered by Cyclosaurus in this topic: Re: Create own link in photoalbum?
By the way you have some graphic images overlapping and hiding some of your navbar links on a couple of pages. Best to move the graphics down or the links up so they don't overlap.

    Hi,
    I simply use a shopping cart provided by an ISP, and use paypal to process payments. Not very glamourus, but get's the job done well, and accurately... and at a low cost. Feel free to check it out at:

  • More than one editor (computer) for iWeb and using paypal

    I am not a full-time Mac user, but have been asked to complete a website for a client who has started one in iWeb. She wishes to continue her site in iWeb so that she can make future changes to it. Currently, we have different versions of iWeb on our computers (hers is 2.0.4, mine is 1.0.2). It is my understanding so far that we would need the same version to be able to edit the site on both computers.
    Before I can agree to finish the site for her, I would like to confirm that if I upgrade my computer to iLife 08, and she publishes the website to MobileMe, I would be able to retrieve the site and work on it from my computer and vice versa.
    Also, she wishes to incorporate paypal in her site. Would this be an issue?
    Thank you.

    Also, would I be able to retrieve her domain file with iDisk (through MobileMe, right?)?
    Yes, that's right. For transferring iWeb's Domain file you could use iDisk's Public folder. The general address is:
    http://public.me.com/membername
    And here's an example:
    http://public.me.com/emily_parker
    But before transferring the Domain file, read "NOTE 1" here:

    I had not heard of the PayPal rule for MobileMe - I will look into this. If you have a link to the documentation for it, please let me know.
    +"The Service is designed for personal use and not intended to be used for commercial business purposes, including, but not limited to, *transacting online sales* or software distribution via an e-commerce site."+ ...Quoted from the _MobileMe Terms of Service_.
    So yes, you could upgrade to iWeb '08 in order to be able to open the Domain file transferred via iDisk. But if the site is using PayPal, you are not supposed to publish it to MobileMe — instead, publish it to a folder and then FTP to another host.

  • Error when using "Add to Cart" on Orderhistory page

    Hi,
    I am having a problem in that when I use the "Add to Cart" button on the Orderhistory page for most B2B accounts, I either get an exception or the order does not get added to the cart.
    the exception is:
    Version 5.9.2.22349
    Message Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
    Source NetPoint.API
    Stack at netpoint.api.commerce.NPOrder.CreateOrderFromHistory(Int32 orderid, String sessionid, String carttype, NPPartPricingMaster priceList)
    at netpoint.common.controls.OrderHistoryBlock.btnOrderFromHistory_Click(Object sender, ImageClickEventArgs e)
    at System.Web.UI.WebControls.ImageButton.OnClick(ImageClickEventArgs e)
    at System.Web.UI.WebControls.ImageButton.System.Web.UI.IPostBackEventHandler.RaisePostBackEvent(String eventArgument)
    at System.Web.UI.Page.RaisePostBackEvent(IPostBackEventHandler sourceControl, String eventArgument)
    at System.Web.UI.Page.RaisePostBackEvent(NameValueCollection postData)
    Now on some accounts I dont get the exception but the order doesn't get added to the cart.
    to make things more complicated, I have a B2B account that I use for testing and this one works 100% fine. It only seems to be B2B accounts that are "real" that are causing this problem.
    Any ideas? (netpoint version 5.9)

    Hi Shane,
    I figured out the second issue as well.
    The orders are getting added - but under the same contact/user who originally placed the order.
    so if I have a B2B account, with 2 users, A and B
    A and B both see ALL of the account's previous orders in the Order History page.
    But if A clicks "Add to Cart" on an order that was placed by "B" nothing shows up in their cart. The order was duplicated alright, but as a cart belonging to user "B", not user "A"..if you log off user A and log in as user B, you see the stuff is in their cart.
    I suppose the "fault" there lies with the Orderhistory page whereby its showing all account orders, not just account orders placed by that user - but this is probably better anyway since most accounts will want to see all of their orders.
    And since I am going to rewrite the handler for the button, I can just ensure that the new Order uses the CURRENT userID, not the previous order's userID.
    Phew. don't you just love bugs?

  • Add shopping cart item functionality is not working in PO

    Hi Experts,
    I found that Add shopping cart item functionality is not working in Purchase order.
    We are raising the Purchase order in SRM and i am trying to use the Add shopping cart item functionality to add the shopping carts line item in to purchase order.
    Once I will click on start search, it will give me a list of Approved shopping cat and when I am trying to add any shopping cart in PO line item, nothing is happening and  It is not allowing me to add the shopping cart line items in to this PO and also there is no error message.
    Please suggest us how i can fix this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

    HI,
    If the shopping cart's have same vendor and company code, then only we can club the shopping carts
    in to single PO.
    Please go throught it

  • Siri keeps telling me something is wrong and can't answer anything. What do I do?

    I just received my iPhone 5 yesterday, and everytime I try to use Siri she tells me something went wrong and to try again. Is there something I can do to fix this?

    That is siri telling you that there is a problem on the server end of the service.  The only you can do is wait and try later.

  • Using Paypal on iWeb?

    Hi,
    I've been reading about how to create a single button for my products through paypal. It's going to be a real pain because I have a lot of products and they are all different prices. Does Paypal have a cart system where you don't have to itemize it all? Can you just click purchase the item and then somehow it figures it all out? Maybe I'm dreaming for this option and it doesn't exist.
    S.

    S.
    Not real clear on what you are asking for. You have to itemize things at least in set up with paypal or any shopping cart, otherwise how would it know what to calculate as a price and shipping?
    I use the free paypal shopping cart, and set up a separate button for each item, but it automatically adds it to the shopping cart and keeps a running total and shipping charges.
    See here .....

    Play with it, add several items, see if this is what you need it to do?
    Hope this helps.

  • Can't add funds using PayPal

    I get the message "The credit card information is not valid. Please check your entries carefully." but when I use my card it works fine, I've checked Paypal and the detatils are correct(which considering I used paypal to buy something from another site last night I knew where correct) and match the card details linked to my PSN account(which I'm allowed to use) Something tells me that when this £10 promotion has ended it'll work fine.

    Removed my Paypal details, waited one week, re-added Paypal via my PS4 console, set as default, topped up £15 successfully. Shame I missed out on the Paypal £10 offer that finished July 31st which Sony are unwilling to compensate me for even though the issue was at their side (though they will never admit that). PayPal ensured me there was no problems on their side.
    Sony also managed to take my Spotify subscription successfully via PayPal before I'd removed that method but while my account was barred, proving that my PayPal details were correct, just that their system would not allow top ups.

  • IWeb not publishing PayPal button widget

    As per Burns Media (see below). I have taken the proper steps to insert a PayPal button. However the button does not show up on the published site. I've done this in the past and it did work but not now. I have the latest update to iWeb and running OSX 6.4.2 Is there a problem with these updates or am I just missing something?
    Thanks for your help!
    Jerry
    Burns Media Posted this: You can certainly use PayPal on your iWeb site, and it's fairly easy. You would indeed use the HTML Widget - first, log in to your PayPal account (or create one if you don't have one) and follow the steps to create a new button (Buy Now, Pay Now, Gift Certificate, etc.) When you've finished making the button, the last step gives you some HTML code to copy and paste into the HTML Widget. Copy the code from the PayPal site, in iWeb drag the HTML Snippet to your page and in the box that pops up paste the code. Hit Apply and you're done! When you publish the site, visitors can click your "Buy Now" box and be taken to PayPal to buy.

    I think this is very similar to the instructions you posted, but here is a visual demonstration showing how to add PayPal to an iWeb site

  • Small Business on iweb or using dot mac

    Hi, I am wonder is there any way to do a small business using iweb or using other tools integrated with dot mac?
    I am looking for something like isell that allows easy edit, shopping cart, visa payment method, etc(however, this need additional subscription with macdock or rapidweather, and has low disk space)

    You could try looking at these links....

    If you are going Big Time and/or International try...

    Quote from .Mac Terms and Conditions...
    "In addition to the .Mac account limitations on bandwidth and disk utilization, certain commercial or business uses are prohibited, including the following:
    • Operating any type of e-commerce site, including any online store or shop, or software distribution, or any website whose primary purpose is to generate advertising revenue through the posting of automated Content (i.e. ’zombie’ site)"
    You will find that a commercial hosting company will give far more reliable service, tech support and shopping cart facilities.

  • Add to cart

    Hi all,
    I have a website completly HTML based i am try to incoporate my prodyct page add to cart
    is it possible weblink
    thanks

    To get a web page to actually do something useful, like process a form or calculate a price or add something to a cart and place an order, you need to use php or some other server-side scripting language.
    Alternatively, you can use PayPal, which will allow you to set up an account to receive funds. They will take a percentage of each sale and they will allow your customers to place orders.
    You would have to set up an account with PayPal first, then go to this link and follow the instructions for creating a button using the PayPal system:
    https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_singleitem-intro-outside
    Then, PayPal will handle all of the transactions and send you a request to fulfil the order when payment is made.
    …Or, you could create your own on-line store. And that would require you learning a server-side programming language.

  • How to use PayPal HTML variable

    Hi,
    I don't know how off topic Dreamweaver Discussion allows me to get, but I am not getting much notice on the PayPal fourm. How do you use the variables they describe here:

    "<input type="hidden" name="tax" value="3.00">" does not seem to work (it uses my Buy Now button's tax rate).

    Hi Karen,
    I didn't think it would matter if I posted code as it's just the default Buy Now button code. But it does point out the fact that it's a Buy Now button rather than a Add to Cart button. I wonder if that makes a difference.
    <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">
    <input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick">
    <input type="hidden" name="hosted_button_id" value="secretvalue">

    <img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1">
    </form>
    To this I added the
    <input type="hidden" name="tax" value="3.00">
    both above existing hidden values and below those two lines (in different tests).
    Yes I do have a Default Tax set in my profile, but for this button I'm using a stipulated % tax during the button creation (there are two radio button options, one for the default and one for me to set one).
    Thanks for the help. On PayPal.com I've had 6 views for the post.
