I uploaded my site and noticed text that should be white was grey. I made a whole page on this as pictures are better than words sometimes.
This problem isn't major but just unexplainable and timee consuming.

I can see what your problem is and I will suggest a couple of possible fixes.
1. It looks like you have created a shape (the border) and a text box. Click on the shape, open Inspector, Graphic Tab and choose a Fill = Color Fill, then choose white as your color. Then, click on your text box, open Inspector, Graphic Tab and choose Fill = None.
Now the shape should be solid white and the text box is transparent, so th ewhite shows through. To make sure that the Shape is at the back, select it, then go to Arrange > Send to Back
2. The other choice is that you create the shape, change its fill to white, as above. The double click the shape and a text cursor will appear, you can now type onto the shape. The only problem with this is that it turns the shape and text into a png image file rather than the text being loaded as text.

QuickTime Player Problem with iWeb v3.0.4 and Safari v5.1.2

iWeb v3.0.4 published web site with Safari v5.1.2:
I'm in the process of creating a web site (www.koinonia.com) using iWeb v3.0.4. There is an inserted QuickTime element on the home page which is playing an mp3 music file. The QuickTime player (Show movie controller option in iWeb) does not work with Safari v5.1.2 (but does work fine with Firefox v9.0.1). There should be a Movie Controller below the album jpeg image, but is not there with Safari. Also, the movie (mp3 audio file) does not play automatically (plays fine with Firefox). This looks to be a bug with Apple's iWeb / Safari applications.
Does anyone know how to get the QuickTime element to play with Safari v5.1.2?

Safari 5 running in Snow Leopard has been a problem for me. It screws up html, loads a distorted control bar in HTML5 and crashes every now and again when I do a Google search. Reporting these issues is a waste of time as the latest update had no fix. I test all my pages in Firefox and Chrome and don't bother much with Safari since less than 3% use it.
I have the same issue as the OP. The file will only load in Safari if the page is open in Firefox at the same time.
This problem arose over a year ago and is related to files imported from iTunes via the media browser. If the OP will confirm that the file came from iTunes, I will have a look at the meta data to see if there's anything there that iTunes has added.
The only time I am forced to use iTunes is for apps that don't allow import from the finder such as certain situations in Keynote. Otherwise, I wish it would disappear down a black hole in the universe along with Windows and Internet Explorer.
I converted the file to MP4 with QT Pro to prove the point that its the actual MP3 file that is causing the problem - along with Safari.
I haven't depended on the QT Plugin for playing media for quite some time now. HTML5 now works in all modern browsers and should also work in IE 8 if the HTML5 Shiv is included in the head of the page.
Its also a breeze to get flexible movies in responsive web design using HTML 5...

I don't bother too much with flash fallback anymore since these designs are mainly for mobile devices and I can ignore those who are reluctant to upgrade their out of date browsers.

I have a gen one iPad and Safari keeps shutting down for no reason Just crashes. Is this common?

I had my original Ipad replaced because of this but it still occurs and is getting more frequent as time progresses.
Has anyone else had this problem and can you suggest a fix. My I pad is not old enough not to be working properly.

You tagline shows iOS 6.0.1, but you said you have the first generation iPad. iOS 6 does not run on the iPad 1, so I assume that you're running 5.1.1.
You may have low memory issues with the iPad which some users have talked about with the original iPad running iOS 5. You can try some basic troubleshooting steps and see if they help. You might want to see if the iPad and Safari behave better when you keep apps in the recents tray to a minimum....close the apps if don't need quick access to them.
Anyway, give these things a shot.
Quit all apps completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Reboot the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

while doing LIV , using Tcode MIRO, in the header details in the Basic data tab.u have the amount field, there u can find the currency field just next to the amount field.
there u can change the currency.

Does Firefox have a feature like the software named Robo-form, where like if you wanted to go to your gmail, you could click on one thing, and not have to inter user name and password every single time?

Some times in Firefox I see pop ups where Firefox is allowing you to make Firefox remember a password or some such thing like that.
I want to go to an account or web site where I have already registered, type in my user name and password and then before I log in, have Firefox remember my log in information, so that in the future I could go to a folder let's say, that has a list, and just click on the one item, spending less time logging in at places.
Is this something Firefox does, or do I have to say, use a software like Robo-form?

Chat rep told me one thing and have log, now I get another but not in writing.

chat rep told me I could buy 4G jetpack and upgrade my 2200 mifi 3G without losing unlimited plan. He said if I did it online I couldn't do it but if I bought one retail, then I could switch and get 4G on the new jetpack. I have chat log in writing. Went out and bought the 4G device and it arrived today and I when to switch it today, the customer service person Melissa said she would get it done but now Verizon says both reps were wrong and they won't do that. I'm going to cancel my mifi and my cell phone now and charge them back for the purchase of the jetpack. I have all what they said I could do in writing but they won't tell me in writing that I can't do it. When speaking to supervisor, John Lloyd, my verizon phone cut off and rebooted (not sure if they did that?) anyhow called him back on another phone and he doesn't answer. Left voice mail twice trying to get escalation address. Verizon is clearly not worthy of my continued service.

Naming channel strips one thing and tracks another..?

hi.
i have my global track header set to channel strip name so if i rename a channel strip from the arrange track then all the tracks assigned to that channel will rename the same...
BUT...
sometimes i want to name the channel strip say 'drums' but all the tracks 'kick' 'snare' 'hats' etc....
is this possible because im sure i remember it used to be...?

of course it is possible! CTRL-Click on the Track header and select whatever you want. You can even select to display 2 lines, you can edit the track header name in the inspector window and on and on...

Popups are not displaying in ie and safari

I have an FTP application(exported from fb 4) running within a website I'm currently developing. It's a client login area. They login, are then
presented with folders in an ftp client box with folders relevent to their login shown. All aspects are working great in firefox. Client can
download/upload files, rename folders, create/delete folders etc. However, in safari and ie, when I click on a file to download, the upload/download
popup which is supposed to appear, doesn't, and I am stuck in limbo. Normally when I download a file, this popup (alert box) appears, telling me
how much percentage is remaining. Upon completion of the download, the popup closes, and I am free to download more files if I wish. The same
goes with my other popups - create/delete folder, rename folder, etc. The only popup that is working is the first one, which in this case is the login
popup. Has anyone here experienced similar issues?

Order booking on one customer and invoicing a different customer

I have a requirement wherein I book a sales order on one customer C1. And I need to ship the goods to some C2, who is a customer for C1. I should invoice C2 and not C1. I get the payment from C2. how can I achieve this?

you can create customer c2 bill to location under c1 while ur booking the order u can select customer c2 address as bill to as well ship to location . so that order invoice will be sent to customer c2 address.

Data display in PSA and InfoCube/InfoObject different

In Europe, there is a strange notation used for decimals. Instead of the international standard "." for a decimal point, Europe for some bizarre reason uses ",". Thus the display is utilizing the European display. In SU01, for your user id, change the decimal display to the proper international standard ".".

Have you copied or moved any imq related jar files
since the previous start of the broker ??
- specifically imq.jar
Have you made changes to your class path since the
last restart of the broker ?
I've seen this exception stack trace once before.
In that case, it was triggered by copying jar files
into the /usr/java/jre/lib/ext directory.
This problem occurs because there are a couple of
class files which are duplicated in two different jar
files ...
Here is what happened in that situation:
1. the vm starts up and loaed imq.jar from the ext
directory which contains SysMessageID
2. imqbrokerd then loads the user classes imqbroker.jar
and imqutil.jar from a different location.
These class files contain the Packet class (which
uses SysMessageID)
The ext directory is loaded by a different class loader ..
this means that Packet (loaded from imqbroker.jar) can
not legally access SysMessageID (and an exception is
thrown).
To fix this issue, remove the extra copy of the jar file from
the class path (or ext directory) or change the class path
(imq.jar was not designed to be a standard extension)
I belive that there is a bug filed against the product that
two different jar files should not contain the same
class ... but I havent located the bugid yet
I'll post the bug once I find it
