IWeb Doesn't show the web page!

When i open up iWeb it wont show the template that i choose... Plz help me... thanks

What does it show? A new page or a request to pick a theme and page, i.e. as if you're creating a new site from scratch?
Try the following:
close iWeb.
delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your Home/Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
reboot.
launch iWeb and try again.
If that doesn't help continue with:
move the domain file from your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
launch iWeb, create a new test site, save the new domain file and close iWeb.
go to the your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
launch iWeb and try again.

Hi, two questions.
New to safari, when I hover over a link it doesn't display the web address, is there a way to turn this on or is it not available in Safari.
In regard to Hotmail, is there a way to synch up Hotmail with Mail in leopard so that when I click an email address it allows me to send via hotmail.
If not, how do you find out the email address, because when I click it, just takes me to mail and doesn't allow me to at least view what the email address is, so I can manually send it via Hotmail.

Only safari doesn't show the home page image - why?

Wonder why the home page image/masthead doesn't show on the home page, ONLY in Safari/mac - every other browser shows it. Would love a fix.

Thanks very much for the thoughts - I redid that alternate masthead for ie5.5 and updated the link - yes, now the ALTERNATE banner shows but NOT the image I need, which does still show in other browsers. Only in Safari does the alternate masthead now show, but not the main masthead needed.
Below is the code that directs the image for ie 5.5 but why would this affect Safari?

Firefox doesn't save the web page's title as themselves!

I want to save web pages, for example a link like below:
http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap080406.html
in other browsers like Avant or Opera the web title saves as itself (for example for this link the web title save as "APOD_ 2008 April 6 - Wisps Surrounding the Horsehead Nebula" ) , but in Firefox the web title save as "ap080406" .
I appreciate if somebody help me that ,if I can save the web title's as themselves.

Firefox now always stores the old session which you can access by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session".
If you always open the last set of tabs, an alternative approach is this:
# Click the orange Firefox button, then select options to open the options window
# Go to the General panel
# Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

Quicktime Doesn't Show Me Web Page Movie Content

I need help setting preferences (if that's the problem) in Quicktime. I can't see movies on a lot of websites. On one site in particular, I know the webmaster and he says he knows it's running fine. Something is up with my QuickTime. It's never worked. Any help?
For example, the above mentioned site is:

I can see the movie "Behold! The Pool Shot Take Two!" (it's preceeded by a big blue Q) but I can't see the movie "Pool Shot. Take One!" (a little blue lego with a question mark on it appears). This is not a pro site, but this problem occurs on pro and personal sites for me.

Heather, welcome to these discussions.
The reason you can't view "Pool Shot. Take One" using your Tiger Mac is because the video uses Windows Media Player format (maybe not installed on your machine.)
Download WMP from the Microsoft Site. You'll also need Stuffit Expander (not included on a Tiger Mac) to "unstuff" the downloaded .sit file.
They should also work on reducing the "background" .mp3 file to a more Web page friendly size.
Your Mac is doing just as it should. Maybe they could make a better Web page (including notices about file formats and download links) for the media files.

The address bar doesn't show the current page

If I type an address directly into the address bar, it is correct and gets the correct page. However, all of the other tabs now have the same address even though they are still on the page that I previously brought up.
If I do a Google search and then click on an address, the address name is the one that I last had entered into the address bar and none of the addresses change.
I don't know if this happens all the time but it is happening right now and has happened before. I just tested things to determine when it happens.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I right click a link to open it in a new tab and it doesn't load the web page.

In firefox 4 I right click a link and go to open in new tab but it doesnt load the link it loads a Bing search instead. This is very frustrating, how can i fix this?
And why can't i access my add-ons? When i click add-ons it just opens a new tab.

In the previous version i was able to close my mozilla and to open it again, the web pages which i was working with remained however i've tried many ways to have this advantage again but it is not working what can i do ???

Your webpages/tabs are still there. When you start firefox again, there is a "Restore Previous Session" icon below. If you click that, it will open up all your tabs again.

Why does my ibooks app show the remaining pages in the book instead of the remaining pages of the chapter?

The book that I'm currently reading always showed the remaining pages in the chapter. But as of this morning, the "... pages left" item on the down right side of my screen doesn't show the remaining pages in the chapter anymore, but the remaining pages of the book.
Was there a setting I accidentally changed? Because I can't remember changing anything. Anyone knows how this behaviour is triggered? And more important, how it can be changed back.

Not positive here but it almost sounds like your sign in was up and your wife used the computer and clicked on different sites that showed up on your sign in, Truth be told it was an accident that both you and her were unaware of. This is the reason that we have one sign in that we both use and when it gets cluttered I simply create a folder and put her stuff in it that way it isn't in my way.

Google Docs page freezes in FF 4.0 and 3.16 versions and it doesn't show the collection or folder names on the left side of the page .

Google Docs page freezes and it shows the files in the main page. However, it doesn't show the collection or folder on the left side of the page. It shows "Loading" on top of the page and it stays with "Loading" display forever. Chrome doesn;t have any such problem. I would like to use FF for google docs if it works. This happened only after I changed to FF 4.0. Now, I went back to 3.16 and it shows the same behavior as 4.0 version. Any help will be appreciated.

Is there a way to show a web page title when the menu bar is hidden?

I need to see the web page title on the top bar of the browser because the tabs don't give me enough information. However, when I have the menu bar hidden, the page titles go away, too. Is there a setting I'm missing to show the page titles even when the menu bar is hidden?

Pages for iOS doesn't show the preview view of documents, a fix?

I don't know if anyone has the same problem, but since the update, my pages for iOS (even in iPhone or iPad), doesn't show the preview view of each document. I have to open a document, close it and then it appears the preview. But if I close the app, all the previews disappear again and it shows the icon of pages (the orange pencil), which is awful by the way.
So, anyone else has this problem? How can I fix it? It is not a big deal, I know, but I just don't like the way it looks like.
I re-install the app and it doesn't work.

Same problem here. Some previews but majority are the icon diagram of the orange pen. It's the same on both my iPhone 5 and iPad 3. Hope they sort this ASAP

Yes, I know it isn't a big problem, but it bothers me anyway. I already open all of the documents... I even modified one of them and the preview view still doesn't appear, or thumbnails... I really don't know the name. The thing is, that when I close the program and then open it again, the thumbnails disappear and there is the awful pencil again!
