Iweb error 404 when I upload it to my ftp server

I've spent all night trying to get this to work. I've read other threads with similar problems and their solutions aren't solving my problem.
I have my iweb site. I publish it to its own folder. I upload it to the ftp directory (index.html + folder) directly to the root folder using cyberduck. And yet it still comes up "error 404 - not found. So I tried uploading it to my .mac account, and it still says error 404.
And there are no spaces or weird characters in any of my files' names or the site's pages' names.
Anyone have any thoughts on what might be wrong with this site I've made and why it won't read?

whats your link? Have you noticed how there is a folder for you website (ex. site), and a folder that is your ACTUAL website (ex. Home) ? When I had that problem, I made the mistake of uploading the "site" file with the index.html, rather than the "Home" file and its appropriate index. For some reason, that was what worked... so I figured I'd offer the suggestion. Because trust me, I had the same issue for over a week and it was driving me mad.

Error 404 when accessing presentation services

Hi,
I am encountering Error 404 when I am trying to access the presentation services.
All my services are up and running. A ./opmnctl status shows all the components to be "Alive"
My enterprise manager and the console are up and running.
I have never encountered this kind of situation before. Any inputs please?

Start checking following things
1. http://localhost:7001/console is this accessible to you? or http://<machine IP>:7001/console
2. If yes ...Login with weblogic user
3. to check analytics Go to Home >Environment > Servers >bi_server1 > Deployments
4. In this you get J2EE analytics application deployment status
if you are able to http://<machine IP>:7001/em
check Business Intelligence > coreapplication status
If coreapplication is up and running http://<machine IP>:9704/analytics should be accessible.

I am getting the following error message while trying to configure a database for a Reporting Service Server. Both SQL Server and Reporting server are 2012 named instances. I have 2014 instances as well on the same server.

According to your description, you want to change a report server database for Reporting Services. But it fails on the last step and returns a error. Right?
In this scenario, it seems you are creating a report server database on another server via remote connection. Based on the error message, it has issues on executing the script for generating new database. Please check if you have permission to connect the
server and create a new database. Also please check if the Reporting Services Windows services is working properly.

I have exported my site and even tested on adobe and everything looks ok. For some reason when I export and uplaod via ftp to my 3rd party hosting and look at the site I just get the index of/ and a list of the pages and directories underneath

HELP!!! iweb is refusing to publish my site to my FTP server. I've tried Filezilla, Panic Tramsmit to upload my iweb created site to my ftp server - hosted by Uk-Cheapest - server.microlite5.com.
I've also saved the files to both my hard disc and my idisk and tried uploading from there but it always fails.
can anyone offer any advice as to how i can get my site uploaded to my domain. It's REALLY URGENT!

After publishing to a local folder, double click the index.html file to launch your site in the browser.
If this version is OK then the problem is with FTP.
Make sure that you can login to your host via the browser and also that your publishing settings - Server Address, Username, Password and Directory/Path - are correct.

Ok so I have had problem after problem while trying to upload. It doesn't sound that hard but I'm always getting error 404. It reads, difficulty reading this feed. Bad http result code..... Anyone know what I need to do.

Hello Portal users,
i have a problem with JPG/Gif pictures in my iViews. I have uploaded an JPG and a GIF picture with name SAP.jpg/gif to the KM content to folder /documents/Test/Pictures/SAP.JPG . If i click on the picture in KM Content i can see it.
Now i try to put it in a KM Document iView. I set the path to /documents/Test/Pictures/SAP.JPG. At first it works fine, but when i do it the second time i got "Error 404 Resource not Available" in the preview screen.
I tested it a hundret times an i get every time error 404.
I am new to Portal an. For Learning i use the Video 2 Brain tutorial. I do i exactly the way it is mentioned in the video but it dont works.
Please help me.

Try to create the iview with portal component.
Right click on folder in portal content > new > ivew > portal component > select appropriate component for KM >> then once iview create, add the location path of the image.
Also you can refer to default trace log file for more information.

       I am trying to access on line help (pressing F1) in EPM 11.1.2.3 but I'm getting the folowing error :
404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
       Also I'm getting this error when try to install some client tool such as HFM Client from Tools--> Install --> HFM Client for 64bits.
       Does anyone could help on that ?

What web server are you using, if it is OHS then the online will be automatically configured and redirect to the help located on the Oracle website.
If you are using a different web server or want to run the help locally have a read of - Configuring Online Help to Run Locally

Error 404 when trying to view youtube videos

Recently when I try to view youtube videos, I get error 404. I updated to version 6.0 tonight and now I get error code 404 and then Fire fox crashes. I send a crash report each time. I tried opening Fire fox in safe mode. That didn't work.

Maybe not as many people reply as you think should because this site doesn't freaking work either!
Took me ten minutes to log in! Kept getting stupid error messages telling me this site is undergoing maintenance. Whatever.
Same exact problem here, but Chrome DOES NOT work. Changing DNS servers DOES NOT work either. It doesn't work for a lot of people.

Getting Error 404 when trying to open php documents in DW CS3 Test server

I am new to DW, php, MySQL and Apache. I have set up a test
environment but obviously have done something wrong. I currently
create my web pages from scratch in notepad and update my site with
a GUI FTP program, but I know with these new tools, I will
eventually be able to create the type of web site that I really
want and need. Every time I try to open any php document in DW CS3
using the"Preview/Debug in browser" button I get an error 404. The
browsers I use are ie7.0.5730.11 and Nav 9.0b2 . I know this may
not even be a DW issue, but I really am at an impasse. Any help
would be much appreciated.
