IWeb in Firefox Looks Like a Bad Abstract Painting

Running iWeb 3.03 and my pages look fine in Safari or Chrome, but in Firefox it looks like a bad modern art painting -- not off a little; off a LOT.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Same here. It looks fine in Firefox 4 for me. Clear the Firefox cache (go to Firefox's Advanced/Network preference pane and click the Clear Now button for offline storage) and try the site again.

I was looking at the new version of Firefox and really don't like how it looks. If I update to it is there a way to make Firefox look like the old one? 3.6.24 is the version I'm using now, and I really like how it looks.

To restore the old appearance right click the orange Firefox button to open the toolbar context menu or use (F10) View > Toolbars.
* Click the Menu Bar entry and place a check-mark to make the Menu Bar visible all the time (Windows and Linux).
* Click "Tabs on Top" to remove the check mark and place the Tab Bar at its original position just above the browser window.

Because Firefox looks like Chrome Im Sad to say after 7 years im dropping ChromeFox (a fitting name for what ff has become) i will no longer using FF or Suggesting to people i meet to Use FF.
I Will Be Using Comodo Icedragon ( http://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-toolbars/icedragon-browser.php) until i Find a Better Browser. i know i will get a reply saying its not backed by mozilla therefore its not secure. that can be remedied by a good antivirus and Firewall such as AVG whatever you prefer. until i find another Browser does anyone have any good suggestions to try out?
i absolutely refuse to use a bunch of stupid add-ons to remedy the situation (since mozilla adopts apples "theres an app for that" Motto i know its going to most likely be suggested)

Yes of course its Photoshop. Cut the person out copy to clipboard paste onto toe brick wall document and texture the layer using a displacement map for the brick wall. Look for Photoshop tutorials on using a displacement map.

How can I make Firefox look like the new updated toolbar?

I installed Firefox 4 on a new computer running Windows XP, but I still have the old look and layout of Firefox. I want to use the new look with the all in one drop down menu bar.
This is a fresh install of Firefox 4 with no previous version installed. Below is what mine looks like.

I would like to know how to add a calendar that looks and acts like the one on this site. It just shows the month and the number of the day and that is all. I do not want all the iCal features that everyone talks about on various discussions on my website. I just want it too look like the iCal app and obviously works properly, very simple. Change the size, color and font to suit your needs. You'll have to place the two widgets over the calendar image to get what you want. Also resize each snippets window without hitting the Apply button afterward to make sure the longest month name will not be cut off and the same for the date window.

Why my gradients looks like so bad?

When I do a gradient, it looks horrible. Everything is good if I do gradient in white to black etc. But if I do from light black to dark black it looks like this. Different software like Corel Draw gives me a beautiful gradiients. Of course also dark to darker.
I work with CMYK and my graphics card is GeForce 660 GTX
Any tip, advice?

How the gradient appears where people see it should be a bigger concern than just how it appears in Illustrator or Corel.
I did a test in Illustrator CC 2014 and CorelDRAW X7 where I setup the exact same scenario you did. I have a square box with a circular gradient going from 0,0,0,70 in the middle to 0,0,0,100 on the outside. Corel had a significantly better looking gradient than Illustrator did, however the final output of the gradient is what I’m more interested in.
I exported both as 300dpi CMYK TIF files where both images are embedding the U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 ICC profile. Opening both in Photoshop there is almost no visible difference between the two gradients. I placed them both in a single document and masked off one side of the top image. The image below shows how the files look at 300% and you can see that both images have banding. This is because the distance between the two selected colors are too near the other therefore you're going to get more visual stepping. Let me know If you know for certain which side is the CorelDRAW generated gradient. =^ )
If you want to know why Photoshop gradients appear so silky smooth it’s because Photoshop creates raster images which aren’t as mathematically strict as Illustrator and CorelDRAW are. Gradients in Photoshop are generated using dithering to help give the illusion of smoothness. The image below is a 500% close-up of the same 70-100 gradient and if you look close enough you can see that Photoshop is using a random dot pattern to help hide the transition from one transition step to another.

In my case, the browser continues to look - and operate like the older versions.

Go to View (or just right-click on any empty space of Firefox's panels - for example, near the tabs) and turn off the Main Menu Panel. You'll see what you're looking for.

How can i make firefox look like windows explorer?

i'm using a custom explorerframe.dll in windows explorer. Now I want the firefox navigation bar(back and forward buttons; address bar) to look exactly the same. Is there a script(userchrome.css) that can do this automatically or do i have to port the style and make my own theme?

I can pin three or four websites that load when I open Firefox, but I do not want a homepage to open full. Can I just have pinned sites open? At this point it looks like I must have homepage. Can a homepage be pinned?

I have three or four sites that I want pinned when my browser opens. And would like only those to open pinned and not have another tab (homepage) open.

But you can send any feedback about these changes to http://input.mozilla.org/feedback. Firefox developers collect data submitted through there then present it at the weekly Firefox meeting
I recommend you try to adjust to 29 and see if you can't make it work for you before you downgrade to a less secure and soon outdated version of Firefox.

Every page I open in Firefox looks cramped.

Every page I open in Firefox looks like the formatting is wrong. Even this page...the fields overlap. Particularly if it is a retail/shopping site, I can hardly read product descriptions or whatever because everything is on top of each other. Pictures, text, etc. I thought it might be the 'magnify' feature so I shrunk the size. Nope! just made it impossible to read and still cramped looking. The kicker is, none of this happens in Explorer. :-(. I hate Explorer and really would like to get this resolved. thanks for your help.

Briansyddal - you might be able to manage your phone without a PC, but many of us can't, especially those of us with large iTunes libraries. How do you propose I manage my 250GB of music using only a phone? Maybe I could go out and buy 10 iPhones and spread my library out among them!
Catz537 - I have the same problem as you and I've spent hours on the web trying to find a solution to it. It was a problem with iOS 7 and 8.1.1 doesn't fix it. The the only advice from Apple is completely useless because it requires you, effectively, to delete and recreate your iTunes library and lose all your metadata, album art, notes etc and there's also no guarantee it will work. I wish I could be more help (even more - I wish Apple could be more help) - I updated to 8.1.1 at 1400 today. At 2200 I'm still "waiting for changes to be applied" for a measly 16GB of music transfer.

Site no longer looks like iweb

My published site no longer looks like what I have set up in iweb. Specifically, I've noticed that all lines around pictures, text boxes, etc. have disappeared on every page. I'm seeing this both in Firefox and Safari.
I've deleted the plist file and repaired permissions (I'm convinced, by the way, that repairing permissions does little, if anything, and is some sort of apple urban legend that people recommend when there is no fix left to suggest.)
Anyway, any thoughts or ideas? I'd rather not rebuild the whole site as it was quite a bit of work to get it where it is now.

I have downloaded updates for Firefox but my browser doesn't look like it should, no single menu button etc, how do I get it to look like your demo?

The last few times I have been prompted to update my firefox for desktop, my browser has not looked any different even though I get notification to say updates completed successfully. When I update firefox gives a demo of new features and how my browser should look, mine has not looked like the demo for the past few updates. It's annoying because I really like the look of having just one menu button. How can I change the look of my browser?

I just downloaded the new 4.0 an now when I click on the tab it won't even load up, it'll look like the page will show up but then it won't an the it'll look like I never even clicked on it. What is going on? Why won't firefox work?

My firefox was working perfectly before when I had the 3.6 but now it just won't load up at ALL! I've dealt with it crashing on me while I was on the internet but I've never clicked on the tab OVER an OVER again an still not even having the home page show up on my screen.
