IWeb is supposed to be as is as they say is it? i tried this....
i build up a webpage that i like and i'm plublishing it to my .mac account because i have a gig worth of space there to do things
but for some strange reason everything works fine except the name of my site is not exactly what i wrote there
what i want is "www.stashproductionz.com"
instead it renames it to ..... /myspaceee/Web/Sites/iWeb/www.stashproductionz.com
and i don't really want all the things before "www.stashproductionz.com" there
so is there anyone to be able to fix this?

If you want www.stashproductionz.com you will have to purchase it from a domain registrar. Then redirect it to your mac.com address.

Hey, I've been having this problem for a while. Whenever I try to add a new app that's relatively large, or a new video at all, iTunes says there's not enough room on my iPod. Most recently, this happened when adding a video. Said video is 1.05 GB. iTunes says I have 1.21 GB of storage available on my iPod. Is there a reason for this, or is it just bad luck on my part?

Here is my advice, at least. Not sure if anyone will agree, but it is my take on the problem.
With the Edge program, there is a "possibility" that someone will pay full price for a phone. This is not always the case, though. IF you do not complete ALL of the 24 months of payments, then you WILL NOT have paid full price for the phone, but simply a portion of the full price. THAT is why it does not make the plan "eligible" to keep your unlimited data. As Ann154 has pointed out, you can use the Device Payment Plan and keep your unlimited data. At no time during your contract can you trade THAT phone in to get another phone. You would have to continue making the payments on THAT phone along with any other phone you upgraded to. THAT is the difference between the 2 plans. You WILL end up paying full price for the phone on the Device Payment Plan, where you can STOP making payments on a phone with the Edge Plan if you turn it in for another device.

Can anyone help me with an iWeb problem? I cannot save the site after making changes. I receive this error: "website.sites2 could not be saved"
You could try duplicating the Domain.sites2 file and launch this in iWeb. Delete the last page you edited and try saving. If that doesn't work, undo and try deleting another and so on...
If you can find the problem page you would only have to rebuild it rather than the whole site.
The other possibility is to create a new site on the same domain file and drag each page in turn down to it from the top site and try to save each time. -
I'm having trouble with importing them into iTunes and converting them at the same time. when i hold down option over the files i can't find where its supposed to say create new version. is this if you're in iTunes?
You can't do it in one step. Add to iTunes first, Once the tracks are in iTunes you may convert to a different format.

I just saw a message that iWeb has been discontinued by Apple. It suggested changing to EverWeb. Has anyone used this or do you have another recommendation?

I have now used Everweb to transfer a website from iWeb & am now working on transferring a second website.
I cannot recommend Everweb highly enough. I am an amateur, so iWeb was the easy option for me. Everweb is just as easy to use and very similar to iWeb. New features are being added every few days.

Iweb Information From Laptop To new desktop so they match
i just got a new desktop and i want the iweb on new computer to match my macbook which has all my sites on it. how do i update new copmuter so they match? and how do i keep them synced so when i do a change on one computer it will update on other.? i have mobile me but not sure if that works with iweb.
thanks for your helpTo make both computers have the same iWeb sites to work on and publish you must copy the domain.sites2 file from the Macbook into the User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder on the desktop. If there's no iWeb folder on the desktop computer create one.
To keep them synced see Old Toad's Tutorial #21 - Managing an iWeb site from multiple Macs with Dropbox.. It makes it easy to work from both computer but only one at a time and keep the domain file the same on both.

How much free space do you have on your hard drive? What system and iWeb versions do you have?
Try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
3 - launch iWeb and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and later the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

hi my ipod 3 g is stuck on connect to itunes mode once connected it says to unlock the whole thing here it does not give me that option ive tried to hold the wake button & home that has not helped any suggestions thanks .
Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:
iOS: Unable to update or restore and iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software. -
We can not get this thing working. Done everything through the computer, got confirmation of everything and a sheet for payment on iTUNES for games. When we go under the icon for games when were put Apple ID and the password it come's up,"YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. ONLINE FUNCTIONALITY IS NOT AVAILABLE." We have been trying for over a week to get this thing going. Can someone please please help us.

After installing the notified update I am unable to send e-mails (using Outlook Express on Windows XP) as my system is now thought to be Unsecure. (I receive a message saying "... Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F") Everything was working fine immediately before I installed the update. Can anyone (pleeeease) tell me where Flash has changed my security settings as I have looked at the setup, but everything looks okay. Thankyou!

Ive been sending messages on my iphone 5s fine until about a week or two ago. now people are saying they are getting "message undeliverable" when sending me a message. (even when I send and go back to check, I don't even see the text I sent there) I may have accidently clicked something to change the way I send my messages. Any suggestions?
I know that one does, but should the SMS be turned off or on? Something had to have accidently been changed when I was going through it. ??
