IWeb isnt starting

When i'm trying to open my iWeb it keeps saying
Can’t open file “~/Library/Application Support/iWeb/Domain.sites2.”
i havent deleted anything that i know of as i use this a fw times a week and its never happened before. it has my entire workbase on this website and i cant access it at all.
any help much appreciated

Try browsing to Home Folder/Library/Application Support/iWeb and double click the Domain.sites2 file.
If that doesn't work, try the troubleshooting steps under "Fix iWeb" here...

JBoss isnt starting up

seems to be setting up of the things will kill my time :-)

the precise error what it is showing is i have given belowCould not locate C:\j2sdk1.4.0_05\lib\tools.jar. Unexpected results may occur.

what i found is its runnig with j2sdk 1.4._03 as i changed my JAVA_HOME from 05 to 03.So got to be some problem with 1.4_03
but i need to have my 05 as my ant build wont run with that......

Iweb auto start after I turn on the computer

I am using iweb3.03, yesterday I can't open my iweb normally, a loading window was pop up, but after that nothing was opened.
What I learn from here is find the domain file, put it on the desktop. and then create a new domain file, click the "show package contents", and replace everything by the old domain file on the desktop.
And it works, I can open my old web site with iweb again.
But after that, now when I start my computer every time, iweb will start running automatically. that's only problem I have, and everything runs normal.
It will be great if someone can help. sorry for my poor english, hope that everyone can understand what i am talking about.

Go to System Preferences/Accounts/Login Items, check the box next to iWeb and then click the - sign.

My ipad is struck at apple logo during restore and isnt starting

my IPAD was working fine & saw my IPAD after charging it, the screen was balck out later when i connected it to itunes...my ipad was recognized & displayed a msg...IPAD IN RECOVERY MODE & NEED TO BE RESTORED...during the restore process my IPAd was strucked at apple logo & isnt starting now

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE

How to make iWeb NOT start up at login?

I did something, somhow, to make iWeb start up at login. I checked the Preferences to find a place to stop this, but Preferences does not deal with automatic login.
QUESTION:
Where do I go to get iWeb not to start up automatically at login?

Well a picture is worth a thousand words...
You see.... all those items that show up in your list
are scheduled to be launched or opened whenever you
login to your account.... and what is the last item
in there??? iWEB!!!!!!!! That is why iWeb is
opening.
The checkboxes only designate which applications are
to be hidden to the background AFTER launching.
Every Application that is on your list is launched
at startup or login.
The answer to your problem? To stop iWeb from
opening every time you startup the computer or login
to your account, you need to highlight iWeb in the
list and the click on the "minus" button to delete it
from the list.

Oh oh. I saw it the minute I laid eyes on the picture: The checks were for hiding the items. But what do you mean, the check is for items that are to be HIDDEN IN THE BACKGROUND AFTER LAUNCHING? What do you mean, hidden? Does that mean that the application pages do not open up in the screen and force you to look at them?
So I now will go and get rid of the the iWeb in that column.

IWeb and starting advertising

hi to all,
quickly my questions: how to remove the request window "do you have mobileme or do you want try it" at the start of iWeb?
EVERY time that i start the application the window appeare and I have to select "NO, I don't have and I don't want try it!!": I can understand only the first time...but now it's a little bit insistent and I don't like to much this kind of "forced" advertising...

IWeb just started publishing half my site - every time

I use iWeb '09 to maintain my blogsite. After a trouble-free year, today its started publishing at least 100 of 250 pages when I just wanted to add one post. I've closed iWeb and reopened it and restarted my Mac - but it keeps doing it. Consequently it takes about five minutes to publish instead of 30 seconds and is using up a lot of data transfer space. I'm choosing "publish changes" and I haven't made any other changes to the site since yesterday. Does anyone know how to make it behave?

IMO it's probably a server issue and will correct itself in time. It is not uncommon for the MMe servers to hiccup and mess up functionality.
Try the following:
1 - close iWeb.
2 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
3 - go to your User/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete the contents.
4 - reboot.
5 - launch iWeb, republish and see if there's any improvement.
Note: You may have to wait for the second change and republish to see if it is successful.
OT

My 13" macbook pro isnt starting up. I goes to a grey screen and flickers between the mouse icon and then the spinning start up icon. any ideas?

I have just updated my macbook pro 13" with requested updates and asked me to restart. Upon restarting it went to the grey startup screen where it just sticks flashing betwwen shades of grey. One shade which the mouse pointer and another shade with the start up wheel?

You may be having a hardware problem that you cannot resolve on your own. Nevertheless...
...hold down the command and R keys whilst booting to try to get to your Recovery partition. If you can, use Disk Utility to try to Verify your boot drive (usually named "Macintosh HD" unless you've renamed it). If the verification fails, try to repair your hard drive. If everything appears to be OK, restart.
If you can't get into your Recovery partition, your problem is likely hardware related. If so, keep your appointment and see what the Apple techs have to say.

IWeb not starting up

I just got a new Nvidia mini with iLife '09 on it, and imported all my settings from my PowerBook with iLife '06. It all worked well after the various iApps had converted whatever they needed to convert. However, for the last several days, iWeb has been acting up. When launched, it simply hangs before displaying a window and takes up around 100% of the CPUs. I've tried getting rid of my websites that it loads in, bringing in old ones through time machine, and even reinstalling iWeb from the Applications DVD that came with the mini; so far, it still does the exact same thing. I'm at the limit of what I know how to do; any suggestions? I manage two rather important sites through iWeb, so getting it up and running is a bit of a priority. Thanks!

Why do html page links on iweb suddenly start opening the pages at bottom not top?

Why do html pointer to pages open those pages at the bottom not the the top on a web page I am working on with iWeb. Software seems a bit flakey as sometimes if I close the site down and then reopen it all is ok. Any ideas? Thanks. Sean

Okay, I figured out the problem with those certain links not working on www.calgaryyouthrally.com. The grey background was apparently covering the links somehow on the first and last pages of the site (due to its becoming enlarged in IE8). I made some changes and took care of that problem.
But, the enlarged grey background is bugging me. It is acceptable in Firefox and Safari. But in IE8 the grey extends well beyond the actual size that I made it. The grey shape with the white picture frame around it is what I have made in iWeb. But in IE8 the grey is extending well beyond the white picture frame border. What can I do to fix this? Any ideas? Again, the site is www.calgaryyouthrally.com.

When i plug my iphone into the computer, Itunes cannot be started. Apple was able to help me last time.

Try reinstalling or restarting the AMDS.

EMET reports it isnt started with a pop up warning

EMET reports, Agent status, not running!!
I clicked the wizArd and selected keep settings and finish. But
the program wont start? Whats wrong, and how do I start it?

We are using the following install string as suggested in the documentation for an SCCM deployment:
msiexec /i "%~dp0EMET Setup.msi" /qn ALLUSERS=1
and found that we needed to add the following registry key for the agent to start properly:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Name: EMET_Agent
Type: REG_SZ
Data: "C:\Program Files (x86)\EMET 4.1\EMET_Agent.exe"

IWeb not starting right

Hey,
So I have been using iWeb successfully until today when I tried to edit the templates :S now my website has disappeared and everytime I open iWeb I get this message:
Welcome to iWeb ’09!
This version of iWeb requires updates to your Domain file, which contains all of your website information.
When I input my domain file nothing happens can't add a new page or anything. What can I do to fix this?
Any help will be appreciated and I'm not very computer savvy so simplest explanation possible please?

Have you tried going to your Home User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites and opening your domain.sites file directly from there by double clicking it?
Try this, but remember to go to your Home User Library and not your System Library as iWeb is not stored there.

ITunes 10.5 isnt starting

Well, if im starting iTunes 10.5, windows (7, 64 bit) only shows me the frame of the programm.
The rest is white.
How can I fix that?
