Iweb messing up the layout
Dear all, iweb is messing up my website layout.
here is the page which is driving me mad:

As you can see, all goes fine in the first paragraphs, then after the first box (the one named "Carta e cartoncino") all goes wrong, and iweb messes up with fonts, layout, alignment
Needless to say that in the page I designed everything is neatly aligned.
I tried the local publishing already, and the output is the same as online.
For your reference, the smaller pictures have been pasted into textboxes, with text running around.
Does anybody have a clue?
I found the source of the problem:
apparently iweb didn't like having the pictures together with text into textboxes.
If I edit everything keeping pictures on the background, everything goes well, altough the final output is not as neat

I still need to work on spacing and alignment, but at least it now doesn't show pictures and text randomly scattered around.

Deleting two spreads without messing up the layouts after them
I'm laying out a book. the author just removed a chapter= two spreads in the middle of the book. No problem, I just drag the spreads to the trash right? But then all the other layouts that come after the deleted spreads are messed up, i.e. the images I placed are all out of position! I hope this makes sense. Basically I just want to nuke two spreads and make it like they never existed... including the flow of the copy. What do I do?
This is the sort of thing that would drive me absolutley crazy in a document. Personally, I would break the text into individual stories for each chapter so that editing a chapter only affect the pages in that chapter. Deleting text should leave a hole at the end of cahpter, not move the next one forward by a page, and adding text should force an overset at the end of a chapter rather than push the following text past where it belongs.
To do that, work from back to front. Find the last frame of the second-to last chapter and click on the outport, then click inside the frame, suing the selection tool. The last chapter will "disappear" and you should see the red plus sign indicating the overset. You have broken the thread at that point, but the frames on either side of the break will remain threaded.
Put the text cursor after the last character that belongs in the story, then press Cmd (mac) or Ctrl (Windows) + Shift + End to select the text from that point to the end of the story (You can also work in Story Editor where you can see what you are doing). Cut the selected text, put your cursor in the first empty frame, and paste. The last chapter is now an independent story.
Repeat as required. -
I am confused by the layout of the I tunes Store...Ive had no problems or troubel for YEARS with the I Tunes store, but recently the entire graphics on the i tunes store pages are a complete mess, not downloading, creating odd layover and jumbled data and making it virtually impossible to access or read. I am looking for information or guidance on how to re-boot or fix this - Help?!

Pages does not preserve the layout in Word
On opening Word with Pages, the layout is not preserved
Word has navigation pane for navigation between the headings but Pages seems not to have
There are many details in layout that are not preserve,f ex the pages have different number of words etc
I would like to know what features are not preserved"Perfect" is an overstatement. It is in fact completely messed up in particular with long documents.
The problem is that I could not move Word documents to iCloud. I have to use pages. -
Can I save the layout for a table?
I'm using Hyperion Intelligence Explorer 8.3 on Windows XP/SP3.
There is one section of a report I use that I like to convert to an Excel spreadsheet.
I use the Insert Table function. Then layout all the columns from that section.
Then do an Export Section. Which works just fine.
What slows me down is that every time I do this I have to select off all of the columns for the report.
Which takes a while.
What I'm wondering is if there is some way that I can speed up this process.
For example, if I could save the layout once and re-use it for future reports that would be wonderful.
The columns are always the same. But maybe there is an even better way to convert this
section to Excel?

It is a nicely formatted report. With columns and rows. Headers above each column.
Totals on selected columns. It could easily be mistaken for an Excel spreadsheet.
Yes, I would be happy to get all of the columns into Excel. From there it would
be easy to hide/delete the ones I don't need.
I have tried doing a File/Export/Section. Save as type 'Excel (.xls)'.
That processing works without error and builds the .xls file.
But I don't think it is really an .xls file. When I try to open it Excel complains that the
filetype doesn't match the actual contents. When I say OK, the file opens.
It's pretty messy. Some of the data rows are correct. But the column headers are all messed up.
Rather than go left to right the column headers are one after another vertically.
And a column header with two words gets spread over two rows.
So 'First Name' becomes
First
Name
What it actually looks like is some sort of .txt file. But it doesn't seem to have any commas or tabs
that could be used to delimit the fields.
Now when I go through the 'Insert Table' process and then Export that section I do get a 'real' .xls file.
And it is formatted just fine.

Layout options for what? Which iPhoto are you referring to? iPhoto 2 for iOS or iPhoto 9.5 on the Mac?

How to display my FOX formula result on the layout

I have created one Fox Formula for OTB using the given below calculation
Planned Open-To-Buy (Retail Price) = Sales / Retail Value + Last Planned Stock (Retail Value) - Open Purchase Orders (Retail Value with Tax) - GR Posting Date / Vendor RtlT + Promotion Sales / Retail .
When I am executing my Planning function (using BPS0) then it is working fine. It is showing the correct OTB value.
I have insterted this FOX function into my layout using UPSPM tcode. When I execute the OTB calc function from UPSPM then correct data gets saved into my real-time cube. However OTB data is not getting displayed on my layout.
Is there something else which I am supposed to do to display the result on the final layout ?

Thanks a lot for your inputs. My issue has been resolved. I was not able to get the FOX formula output on the layout as the formula was not giving unique record. I have removed version char from my level and flds for selection. Now everything is working fine.

Sending an email of the layout in PDF attachement
Hello All,
I have written a program to send the layout in PDF format to send in a mail to the customer.
The email is going fne with the PDF attachement in the development box, but it is not working in Quality box.
In the Quality box the email is going but the attachement is not opening.
I have used CONVERT_OTF function module for converting OTF format to PDF format. As per my analysis it is returning the PDF format properly in Developement box but not the same in Quality. In Quality the the data returning in PDF format is not in proper manner. It is giving some junk data with symbols like traingle, rectange..etc..
I am using FM SO_OBJECT_SEND for sending an email.
Can you please suggest me what may be problem?

Most of my questions still remain unanswered.But this time i hope i will get some satisfactory reply. I want to create a Discussion iView(not Discussion group or Admin Discussion Group iViews) . However i am not getting the layout used here.I want to remove buttons like "Add To Favourites" Subscribe TO Discussion" and also ,once you click on any topic ,on the second screen commands like "Send To","Subscribe" etc .I want this to look simple as per requirement.How is that possible? Where exactly can i find them ? If there is any xml file ,where to find the XML file ?I do not know how to use NWDS ,as i work in KM and Collaboration area .SO if there is anyone who can guide me from configuraion point of view.I can also open the XML file and do the changes but how to execute it I do not know.Thanks in advance for any valuable input.

I have two me accounts and want to run two seperate iweb accounts but when I used iweb in either it shows the same webpage
So whether I sign in as one account or the other - iweb only remembers the last updates I made and applies them to both so I cant use it for two different accounts with totally different sets of content
how do I make different web pages for different accounts?Go into iWeb and create your sites and then save them. Then log into your first MME account under system preferences and then open iWeb and click on Publish All to MMe and that site will be published.
Go back to System Preferences and then log out of one account and then log back into the other account. Once logged into this account, then go back to iWeb and click on your second site and then click on Publish All to MMe and that site will be published to that account - it will show at the bottom of the screen.
The other way to do it is on your main computer, set up two more user accounts and have both your MME accounts under the two different user accounts so you can switch easily between the two. -
I like to work with several images at the same time on the photoshop elements 12 "expert" screen and used to be able to have the "all floating" option in the "layout", thereby altering each image differently on the screen. I'm an artist and view multiple images while painting. But now that option doesn't work for some reason. Help!
Editor preferences>general, turn Allow Floating documents, but then you may need to go to window>images>float all in windows to make it work for currently open files.
