IWeb My Albums page doesn't show albums

I recently migrated from a previous MacBook using the Migrate Tool. All was well until I went to edit my website.
At first I noticed that a custom template I had installed on the previous machine wasn't available, then noticed that the My Albums pages were no longer showing the albums which were underneath them.
Furthermore, if I created a new My Albums page I was unable to drag the existing photo albums to it!
Very frustrating as this looks like it will need a total rebuild.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can force rebuild the My Album pages?
Thanks
A

Well I sorted this out.
I had installed some custom templates in iWeb which I had used to make the pages. When I migrated all content from the old machine, for some reason the templates - which are "embedded" in the application - did not come over.
I reinstalled the master template, which I though would fix it, but needed to also reinstall the customised version of that master.
Having done that, the problem was resolved and I was able to re-publish.
I hope this helps someone else.

  • Album Artwork doesn't show up in vertical mode but does in Coverflow

I have an iPod Touch 4g and im running the newest version of iOS, 4.3.3, and the newest version of iTunes.  Also running OS X Lion 10.7.  The album artwork doesn't show up in vertical mode but does in Coverflow.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Did you already try to activate the artwork visualization in iPod?

  • Album artwork doesn't show up on ipod

My album artwork doesn't show up for songs that i currently just burned off a cd. it shows up on itunes but not on my ipod

    Hey there,
Make sure that you have "Include Album Artwork" checked under the Music tab screen that you can access when you plug your iPod in. See if that helps.

  • Everytime I update my ipod - loading new songs - my Album art doesn't show

I don't know if this has been happening to other ppl, but ever since I updated my ipod to newer version of OS4, my album art doesn't show up when it locks to home screen. When I go into music - it shows that the album art is there, but when I lock my ipod, the album art doesn't show up. But when I turn off and on again, it works again. It's just really annoying to always turn off my ipod and on again. And also I've noticed that after updating my ipod (loading new songs) it seems really slow - but when I turn if off and on again - it works normally.
I Don't have lots of songs or movies - I have used a little over half of the space. It's just that these things only happened right after I updated my OS to newer iOS4!
Can either someone make a better iOS4 or something?

Try deleting the songs from your iPod, then in your iTunes library delete the album art and reload the album art back to the songs and put them back on your iPod.

  • Creative Zen V doesn't show album a

after reinstalling windows XP the player doesn't show album art.
I have installed all the neccesary software, the picture is a part of Id3Tag and is called folder.jpg.
i can see the pictures in the player. i upload the mp's using creative media explorer, that resizes automatically all the jpg files.
i have download the last firmware.
    nothing helps!!!!!
    what can i do?

did you erase the old mp3 files from your player?
You have to erase the old files (not just overwrite them) and then load them up again with the album cover information.
    Do this:
explorer>zen media explorer? then go on in the LEFT window of the explorer and klick on my zen (or soemthing like that, the player anyways) then go to the right side of the windows explorer and click on media....>music then you can drag the album in question in there and it will work.
The folder.jpg stuff does not work for me.
But embedded tags (must be .jpg) work.

  • Template splash page doesn't show up

This is a new installation of iWEB on my 17" iMac and the template page doesn't show up. I am unable to add a page or create a new site from this point. I have a 24" iMac and when I start iWEB the templates page displays OK. I have reinstalled the software on the 17" and the templates still do not show up.

Well, if you haven't installed iWeb 1.1.2 yet, don't just yet. What has solved this problem for people in the past is to actually download the full iWeb 1.1.1 updater image from Apple here...
    http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/iweb111.html
Then install it right over the current installation. If you have already updated to 1.1.2, I don't believe you will be able to do this.
If you have already updated to 1.1.2, I think your only choice right now (until Apple releases a full updater image) is to delete your current iWeb installation and then reinstall from the recovery disks that came with the computer.
Let me know what your situation is and I can talk you through things more fully.

  • IPod doesn't show Album Artwork

There are several albums in my iTunes that have the artwork in iTunes, but the artwork doesn't show up on my new nano. I read on the apple website the following instructions on how to display album artwork, however when I get to STEP 2, the only option on the music tab for my iPod is "sync music". There is no "display album artwork on your iPod" checkbox. I have a 5th generation nano and there are some album artworks that DO show up on my nano...I just can't figure out how to get the rest of them...
    For iTunes 7 or later
    1. Select your iPod under the Devices section in the iTunes Source pane.
    2. Select the Music tab of the iPod settings. The iPod settings are displayed to the right in the main iTunes window.
    3. Select the "Display album artwork on your iPod" checkbox.
    4. Click Apply to save the changes. The iPod begins to update as soon as Apply is clicked.

    can anyone help me??

  • My Iweb album page is missing 2 albums on Safari and one album on Fire fox

I have create a web site with some album pages. On One page that c0ontains 6 albums, 2 are missing when I use Safari but none are missing when I use Firefox. On a second page that contains 4 albums, 2 are missing when I use Safari and 1 is missing when I use Firefox. Cannot figure out why. The pages display properly when I publish local.
    Thanks for any possible help

I ran into this problem recently as well. In my case, the upload of the particular album glitched and did not upload properly. I simply re-uploaded the album.
It could be something as simple as an outdated cache, so another thing you should try if you haven't already is to clear the cache in each of your browsers. In Safari, choose Safari>Empty cache. In Firefox, select Firefox>Preferences and on the Privacy tab, select empty now.

  • Album Artwork doesn't show

I moved my music from one computer to another and for some reason I am now unable to view my album artwork, even when I use get album artwork it still won't show.

First, create a new folder on your pc - I created one in my MY MUSIC folder and named it Album Covers. Nest, open your iTunes Library and reduce its size on the screen. Then open up Internet Explorer and go to Amazon.com. Reduce the size of that screen so that you can view both your iTunes Library and the Amazon website.
Once in Amazon, go to the music tab and then type in the name of the cd's in your iTunes library. When the cd cover comes up in Amazon, doubleclick it to view it in its own window, then right click the image and save it as the name of the cd in the album covers folder that you created. Once you have saved all of the album covers, close the internet explorer window and open the Album cover folder. Again, minimize its size so that you can see both your iTunes Library and the Album Covers folder.
Next, highlight all the songs in your iTunes library that correspond to a particular cd and then click and drag the album cover from the Album Covers folder to the album art box on the lower left corner of your iTunes Source window. The album art should appear in that box and it will appear on your iPod as well. Make sure to highlight all of the songs from each respective cd so that you don't have to click and drag the album cover for every song -- this will speed up the process tremendously.
    Good luck!

  • Album Artwork doesn't show in my iPod

    Hi everyone!
I've seen a lot of people have problems with photos... but what about Album Artwork??!!
I've got a lot of album artwork associated to my songs in iPod photo but only a few of them are shown and I don't know why... I've tried everything except formatting (and this solution is quite annoyin you know). Can anyone help me?
And... one thing more: does anybody know how to erase album artwork images of the songs in iPod or iTunes? if I can't solve the problem... I just wil erase every album artwork and re-attach the album artwork again, but this solution it's soo annoying (yes, again)...
    Please, help me... thanks!

  • Album artwork doesn't show up on Get Info window?

I downloaded iTunes 7. Now, when I open the Get Info window and go to the artwork tab, the artwork doesn't show up, even though I can see it in the regular iTunes window! Help? Anyone?

iTunes 7 does some stupid things with the artwork. The artwork tab in Get Info is the artwork that is contained inside the music file. iTunes 7 also downloads artwork for songs but then it doesn't store it inside the song file -- it just puts in in a folder on the computer.

  • Maximum # of photo album pages in a "My Album" page

I have 8 albums on a "my albums" page. When I add a ninth and publish (via iWebSEO Tool) the whole albums page goes blank. When I look at it in the local folder it seems fine, but after it is ftp'd to my server it is blank. Ideas why this is happening?
    http://axleart.com/index/Browse/Browse.html

Guessing you solved the problem as I see 9 albums.

  • Why is the Photos app "flashing" when returning to the Albums page after viewing an album?

I go into the Photos app and then go to my albums.  I can see all of my albums there and can tap to view any of them.  When done, I can tap "Albums" in the upper left corner and it returns me to the albums page, no problem.  However, if I "pinch" to exit the album, it returns me to the album pages...then briefly "flashes".  It didn't do that before the iOS 8 update and the 8.0.2 fix didn't fix the problem.  What gives?

You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

  • I have problem that seems to be Firefox-specific: the url loads correctly but the page doesn't show. The other browsers are unaffected.

The page urls load properly but the pages generally don't show. I have been using Firefox 5 on Linux Mint 11. I have no idea which Firefox version I have on the Windows 7 PC as the Firefox "About Firefox" page doesn't display. Some web pages don't seem to be affected by the Firefox problem. As a workaround, I am using non-Firefox browsers like: on Linux- Konqueror, Opera, Seamonkey, Chrome; on Windows: Internet Explorer, Opera, Chrome; the iPod Safari and Android browser.

Upgrade your browser to Firefox 8
